I searched online for florists near where my aunt lives in Minnesota (I live in Ohio) and came across "Flowers by Jeanie". I visited their website, liked what I saw, so placed an order. After placing my order, I decided to email the business to "fill them in" a bit on why I had ordered the flowers and the "situation" (I hadn't noticed a place to do this during my actual ordering process). See, I was ordering flowers to be delivered to my aunt (who is a 'young' 86 1/2 year old). My uncle had passed away - after a very brief illness - less than a week before and the day I wanted to have the flowers delivered would have been my aunt and uncle's 66th wedding anniversary. So not only was my aunt's grief very fresh, it should have been a "special" day for her...which wasn't going to be the case now. Thus I wanted the florist to have a little additional "insight". During my lunch break at work, the day the flowers were to be delivered, I opened my email to find a note from the business owner titled "Hugs for Joan" (my aunt) with a picture attached of the floral arrangement I had ordered. WOW!! To say I was ASTOUNDED is putting it mildly. I was beyond touched and I'll admit, I had to remind myself I was at work so I didn't just burst into tears right there and then!! Not only had they READ my note, but they had taken it to heart and acted on it! And THEN had taken the time to send that email!!!! PLEASE PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS!!!!! I will NEVER be able to repay them for their kindness -- but I'd love if I could help bring a customer or two their way!!! And the flowers were GORGEOUS too!!
