This company (Klean Moves/Mover Bradenton) is a joke. Extremely unprofessional, never on time, blatantly unresponsive, and best part, they damage your items during the move process. I'll spare you the full review but short-version: 1. Showed up 3 hrs late 2. Dropped my $2.1k leather sofa down a flight of stairs and ripped the leather 3. Took them 7.5 hrs to load a 1 bedroom apartment 4. They Couldn't unmount my TV's to the wall a. Which meant I was stuck having to call a handyman to do what Klean Moves/Mover Bradenton said they could 5. They Couldn't take a part my bed a. Which meant I was stuck having to call a handyman to do what Klean Moves/Mover Bradenton said they could 6. They don't bring their own supplies and use yours 7. They Kept my items overnight (against the original signed agreement) 8. They showed up 3.5 hrs late to deliver my items to my storage unit 9. Demanded FULL payment prior to actually delivering and unloading my items Owner Reggie is somewhat responsive. But both owner and son (Reggie and Reggie Jr) are good at trying to place blame on customer. But in reality, it's just a VERY POORLY run company. Reggie Jr is not pleasant, quite rude, and extremely unresponsive. And all of this great work for the great price of roughly $800. Save you money and go elsewhere. If you are some that has valuables, or someone who cares about time, or someone who cares about your belongings PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE!! It's not worth your money, time, missed days from work, nor the hassle of chasing a company that you're paying to do a service. So many better, reputable moving companies in the central Florida area. Hiring this company was the best decision we made. Phil, Mikey, and Nate showed up on time, got to work quickly and professionally. We hired them to meet us at our new apartment at the same time as the semi (moving our things from out of state) and take what didn't fit, to our storage unit. What was supposed to be an 8hr job, turned into a 3.5hr job and I was able to finish the rest of my day comfortably. Added bonus, Phil knew exactly how to stack our belongings into the storage unit that utilized the most space. Smart man. Not only that, but the next day (a rainy Sunday, mind you) we ended up calling them to move a couch from Bradenton to Vero Beach. Within an hour, they showed up, loaded it and were on their way. My point is, these are the guys you want to use. Klean moves also known as Cheap moves in Sarasota. They flip flop there name so you don't see their reviews. They advertise $80/hr but the movers are so incompetent that it took the 13hrs to move a 3bdrm, 2500 sq ft house in a 26ft truck. They damage furniture, scratched floors, dropped items. When we spoke to the owner he kept justifying and making excuses. We hired three men but it was actually one guy, one in training and a girl. She spend 30 min of our time talking to a client that was clearly dissatisfied with their work. I had to ask her to get off the phone because the loading was taking so long. When they couldnt fit everything in the truck and took the second load. she made us pay before they enlisted the last. The storage facility was so poorly packed that we have to hire another moving company to repack it. In the end the couldn't fit everything in storage and we had to call someone urgently to pick up the rest of our things. please do not use this company unless you want to buy new furniture. If you look them up on better business, they have an F rating. read more

Update based on their response - I tried to dispute the credit card charge, but they won the dispute because I signed their contract saying I would pay overcharges in 15 minute increments. BE CAREFUL....United Van lines was originally $300 more but ended up being less after all the overcharges. United was a fixed price - If they quote you a lot less, I would NOT sign that contract without crossing off the overages part. Original review below: I choose them because Reggie was extremely responsive and agreed to come to my house to provide a better estimate than a phone inventory. I wanted to avoid any mis-communication. He repeatedly used the phrase "easy-peasy" for every question. I asked if everything would be blanket wrapped, and he confirmed YES. I asked if he was insured for everything and he said fully insured "NO EXPECTIONS". Reggie represented himself as the "owner" and provided me a written quote for 5 hours with 3 men. The forman left are 3 hours, leaving 2 guys, one being a laborer that had worked there 4 days. They were very hard working and polite, but the move took 10 hours with muliple things damaged beyond repair and they refused to unload my furniture until I paid for 10 hours. I called an spoke with "Reggie"about why I had to pay for double the hours; he said he did not come to my house, but rather his "son", and that the estimate says I have to pay for any overcharges. I said I knew that would be the case in 15 minute increments, but 10 hours versus 5, when the forman left and many things were damaged, was ridiculous. He also said that any furniture that is not SOLID WOULD is NOT cover by insurance and that they will not make a claim or pay for it. Reggie said he was taking me to court if I disputed the credit card payment. Here are the specific issues if you care to read them: 1) Damaged furniture - A dining server, a media console, destroyed an high end computer printer / scanner, and a rolling 5' tool box 2) A forman who left in the middle of a job, leaving 2 less experienced guys 3) I met personal with Reggie Jr. to review the job instead of providing room estimates over the phone, to avoid a large overcharge. Reggie senior said that regardless of whether they to an on-site visit, that the final cost can vary greatly. 4) The total time estimate to pickup up / drop off with (3) guys was prepared with a written estimate for 5 hours. - Page 3 of your contract says hours in excess or less will be adjusted in 15 minute increments. This is reasonable for a few increments, but unacceptable when 5 hours was quoted and it took 10 hours 5) My son and I had to help unload 6) I had to supervised the entire process since the forman left 7) I asked if all furniture and ALL ARTWORK would be blanket wrapped....He said "Of course - Easy Peasy" Many pieces were not wrapped and NONE of the pictures were Damaged to a media console is beyond repair because it was MOVED AND STACKED without blankets. They ACTUALLY PUT A 3 SIDED GLASS DINING SERVER ON A HANDTRUCK GLASS SIDE DOWN WITHOUT ANY BLANKETS. I caught this and they wrapped it after I found a small chip and scratch.....Seriously....all glass without blankets. The guy doing it was very nice and a hard worker but not trained properly!!!! I asked the Forman specifically to TAPE all of the hardware from the beds to a sideboard. Some of the hardware is in a file cabinet and I was handed a separate bag but can't tell where it goes of if everything there. They were in such a rush that they dropped my 5 foot tall Craftsman tool box in the street, dented it, then looked around to see if I saw it. I did and embarrassed they said it was fine - The tool box locking mechanism does NOT open, and I had to break the drawers to get tool out and buy a new tool box for over $500. read more

Reading the great reviews for this company on their web site it is hard to keep my food down. They do more damage than a recking crew. Regie Sr. came out to our home to give us a quote which was very reasonable. A few days later Regie Jr. came out to look at all the items to be moved. They both understood what they needed to pack and load. Both said it would take two trucks. We needed to be out of Florida and in Georgia at our new location in a timely manner. They said it would take one day to pack and one day to load. I talked to Regie Jr. on a Friday and he wanted to get an early start so he said that they would be there Sunday at 9 AM by 6 PM no one showed up or called. I called several times and one answered. I called again on Monday they told me there was an injury to one of their family while moving another client. They said they would be there Monday to pack with a crew of 8 people at 9 AM one person showed up at 9 AM and would not start until the others arrived the others arrived at 11 AM. I was assured by both Regie Sr. and Jr. that they were professional packers, however they sent over were just kids with no idea of what they were doing. They left around 4 PM and said they would be there the next day to finish packing and load. They said they would be there at 8 AM. The truck driver was given the wrong address and did not show up until 11 AM. I asked the lead person about the second truck and he told me that they only need one without even coming in the house even though both Sr.& Jr. said it would take two trucks. The rest of the crew showed up about 30 minutes later. By about 12 PM they realized that they needed a second truck which showed up at 2 PM. I was informed that they could be finished by 5 Pm they were not done until 8 PM because half the crew left at 5 PM. The driver said the delivery trucks would be at our new home at 9 or 10 AM. Two different guys showed up at 1 PM. I told Both Regies and the lead loader the we had an out building about 100 feet from the house and if they packed the truck with that in mind there was an access road so they could drive around and unload what needed to be there it would be easier for everyone. They said no problem we will load everything to unload easy. Of course, they did not load it with that in mind. When the 2 guys arrived to unload, I explained that they could unload at the outbuilding by driving around. There in a hurry because one guy had to catch a flight in Orlando, and they needed to get the trucks back before the flight. My wife gave them $ 50. 00 each and asked them to finish and take a later flight. They agreed and dumped 60% of the load in the driveway and left two 80-year old people to bring it in. The beds were not put together and the mattresses and frames were just piled up in the bedrooms. We slept in the car for two nights. I sent a quote to Regie Sr. regarding the damage with pictures to submit to his insurance company. I called him and inquired about the insurance payment and was told to XXXX OFF. read more
