Between all booking interactions and the lady that showed up to do the cleaning themselves they were all very professional. For four bedroom house I was expecting a move in cleaning to be a little pricey but for the convenience, it's worth it. They come in and they clean every cabinet and they mop the floor and it just gave me peace of mind to know that I'm starting fresh in my home instead of and somebody else's dust.

The price quoted was very fair in my opinion and my experience. Little did I realize that I was booking for cleaning services in what would be a Category 1 hurricane. The cleaning person arrived as-expected, making allowances for the fact that we were in the middle of Hurricane Debby (we offered to reschedule, I promise!) and most of the roads were shut down already. She did a good job and I was glad to have been able to get help cleaning this apartment, it made a world of difference to us. The price paid was the price quoted, which seems to be a rarity in the world of services. If they have a few minutes to spare, they often do something extra--which I appreciate more than this review can express. One of the things that I like the most about Spitshine is that each of the ladies puts her own special touch onto the job. One folded the toilet tissue into the shape of a rose, one put my daughter's stuffed animals in cute poses. The little things like that make us happy. They all do a fabulous job. Carol, the owner, is all about the customer experience. She communicates well with us and likes getting feedback from us. I don't remember having anything other than positive things to call or text her about. I noted that I needed a deep cleaning as I would have a photographer at the house the next day after the cleaning to take photos and list our home for sale. I was quoted $250-$300 for a 2-story, 1,530 sqft home. I ended up paying $280 + $20 tip for their hard work. They came on time (even 15 minutes early), and got straight to work. They didn't ask any specific questions though about what needed to be cleaned, or ask me to walk through afterwards to see if anything was missed. They did a pretty decent job, but I wouldn't call it a deep cleaning-- carpet was vacuumed, but not shampooed; walls weren't cleaned, nor were baseboards, and wooden floor downstairs wasn't mopped or vacuumed. They cleaned the bathrooms, microwave, and oven, but I noticed a mess on the top ceiling of inside the oven still, although the sides and bottom were wiped clean. Altogether, they took about an hour to clean (about 10:45am to ~12:15pm), though they allocated 2-3 hours. They worked fast and hard, but I have some minor complaints, which could mean a world of difference depending on your situation (like moving out, or for preparing home for sale pictures). I appreciate them coming in today, and they saved me time and it looks and smells nice generally, but it wasn't necessarily a deep cleaning. Not super happy about the price and quality of their deep cleaning service. Edit: Also upon requesting a partial refund for services not rendered, she didn't respond back. So, I would avoid using this "company"-- their price difference is no different between this and a reputable company, and good luck trying to file a dispute.

After asking about the sq footage and shape of house they said it would be low-mid range. Second - as soon as I walked in the house I saw dirt, dust and grim everywhere. The fans, baseboards, cupboards, curtains, floors were all to be included in the $300+ charge. We had to clean them all again ourselves as they were lightly brushed over. The house had the fake clean smell of febreeze everywhere. Third - when calling to question the bill, we were immediately threatened with a lawsuit and were hung up on by the owner. The lack of professionalism was unbelievable. After calling back again I was told that if I tried to fight it it was going to cost me more in legal fees than it was worth. This was as close to extortion as possible, with no videos or full house before/after images. If you do hire be sure to take pictures everywhere before and after or better yet set up a video to record.
