I thought it was just Me, until reading all the yelps here about our local post office. It's like…read moreALL customer service everywhere, it doesn't exist! The US postal service is NOT what it used to be, they can't even get a live person for you to talk to when you call in for whatever. They put a package I ordered on the 28Jul in a wrong bin and for a package that was only traveling about a two hour drive from where I bought it, and as a result it went all the way to Nebraska and is now in Colorado and won't be here for at least another 4 freaking days. I don't even go to the local PO for anything as they are a complete SH/T show, with the exception of thei the Post Master there, he was very helpful and didn't talk like he was blowing sunshine up your kazoo. He is the only exception to my many complaints for this local PO. This is not the first time I've had delivery issues with them.

There is no point in using prepaid because if you don't hand your package to them and ensure it's scanned in, it will not be sent out for days. You have to take in your prepaid package, stand in line, and make sure the person at the counter scans it. They even told me that if I drop them off, they will not scan them in. This seems to be the way they operate here in Klamath Falls, Oregon. It appears to be a strategy to avoid doing their job. If a package gets scanned and they don't process it, it shows they are not fulfilling their responsibilities. If more people took the time to call the proper channels to notify the post office about what's going on, maybe we could see some change and have some of these complacent, lazy, and incompetent workers replaced. I feel so bad for those with online businesses; I'm sure they often face suspensions for breaching terms and conditions when packages are just sitting there or disappearing
