My son is attending KLA Schools Aventura. He has been attending the school since he was 18 months old. He just turned 3 last week. My partner and I are so very happy with the educational team, the dual language component and the amount of time and care that is placed into his education. They have a quasi Montessori style education base, meaning they believe in sensory play, imaginative learning and social skills building that is a bit more structured activity wise than a true Montessori school. We fell this is the best fit for our son for his future learning in the Western Educational system. Our son is always very excited to go to school. He loves his teachers. They have wonderful after school programs for the children. Right now our son attends a music class after his full day at school. I highly recommend KLA Aventura, you won't be disappointed. From what I can tell a great experience for my little boy who started as a Nido and is now in the class of the 3's. Lots of activities and tons of focus on the individual child. School is very good in communicating weekly schedules, accomplishments and other useful things. Pricey but good. One thing: while the lunch provider recently got changed and is now "organic", I still don't like the idea that kids need to eat pizza and or Mac and cheese weekly. My child has attended KLA for the past 4 years. The first thought I had when applying for a daycare was, am I comfortable leaving my child in this facility? And the answer is yes. The staff is friendly and the environment is clean. I worried about he curriculum at times, but seeing how much my child has excelled because of the school, I have no doubts that Reggio Emilia's approach is legit. I'm very thankful that my younger daughter attends this school. This is her second year and she enjoys going to school every day. The teachers & staffs are truly amazing and they genially care for your child. They understand that each child is unique and embrace their individual talent. My daughter's teachers encourage her to explore and think outside of the box. I couldn't ask for a better school for my daughter and if I can only go back in time, I would have send my older daughter to this school in a heartbeat. Best preschool in town. This is not a daycare but a school. Kids are exposed to all kinds of materials and classes. Staff is very professional and highly experienced and teachers really care for kids who are treated with patient, respect and love. I moved 25 minutes away but still drive all the way there cause this school is so much superior than any other option In SoFl. read more

I am so glad I found this place!!! My daughter has been attending for two years now, and I couldn't be happier with the teachers and the staff. The teachers are constantly studying and attending workshops to keep up to date with the latest trends in education. Just a few weeks ago, we had an appointment to discuss an evaluation and to show us what our daughter loves to do in class. KLA is way more than just a daycare. I am extremely happy with KLA Aventura!! My son started during the summer in the Nido program and he is now in the class of the 2s. When he started he only said a few words and was not very social and by the time he was done with the Nido class he is speaking in both English and Spanish and by now he knows every administrator, staff member, teacher and student at the school by name and they are very loving to him. I unfortunately work until 5:30pm so he is there all day so it was very important for me to find a place close to work that I knew he would be well taken care of. Luckily I found that there. I would not change it for the world. At times I get there to pick him up and he does not want to leave. I highly recommend this school! I was looking into moving my 1 year old to a new daycare that would be close to home in Aventura. He currently goes to a daycare in Brickell that I love but I wanted to find something that would be more convenient commute wise while not sacrificing quality in education. After reading reviews online, I sensed that this might be a great fit for him. KLA had sent me information that their would be an open house today and since KLA Aventura was on my list I figured what a great opportunity to check the facility and see if it would be a good fit for my son. Well when we walked in today, not only did we receive a cold greeting from the receptionist but it seemed like she was in no mood to give us information. She brought back a brochure and said "here you go". I asked about the open house and she said it was in the morning, even though the email said 2pm. Very odd. She did not offer to give us a tour or any information on when we could get one. I am not sure if the facility would have been a good fit for my son or not and I don't plan to find out. First impressions are always a big deal for me. The fact that the receptionist could not even give us a warm greeting or care for our business just goes to show that I don't want my son to be around people that are cold and unwelcoming. I usually never put energy in writing negative reviews but felt the need to make you aware of my awful experience today. read more

We have been part of KLA Aventura since the school opened in 2010. Although it was a tough start, Today, we wouldnt be happier. The school has an amazing staff and director. We have our 2 kids enrolled and they LOVE their school, their teachers, the environment.
