So happy I found Hollywood Preschool. I have been in search of a daycare where I feel comfortable…read moreleaving my baby and this daycare has eased every concern. The facility is clean and the staff is so nice. As I am Hispanic, I love that the women taking care of the infants are all Hispanic (personal preference). I love that they immediately told me all of the things they would need to care for him and that everything should be labeled. The fact that they need several changes of clothes, bibs, sheets, towels to keep him clean is a huge comfort for me. The fact that they requested detailed info about my son and what helps soothe/ease him etc is amazing. As a mom a big concern for me is leaving my baby with a stranger all day that doesn't know what he likes/dislikes. Also the fact that they have an app to communicate and send photos/updates throughout the day is so so great. They also include formula/baby food with is a huge plus. I honestly couldn't be happier. If you need a place for your kids and the location works for you I definitely recommend you check them out. (These were the only pictures I was able to take since I wasn't going to snap pictures with the kids in them. But the same way you see the pics from the business owner is how the place looked. So clean and nice.

They mostly speak in Spanish, which is a plus for me because I want my daughter to be bilingual. All teachers are respectful of parents and students. Ms. Veronica, the director is very passionate and talented at what she does. I am so pleased to have such a caring preschool in the community.

I will be forever grateful to this school for the peace of mind they provided us as parents and the genuine love and caring they provided for our daughter.

It's taken me a couple of weeks to write this review but I feel its important to share my…read moreexperience with other parents. I reached out to Irene (owner) about registering my child in her daycare because my child's previous school was pretty far from my house and I wanted to free up my driving time. She was agreeable and the daycare felt like a small family so overall I left with a good impression. The first day that my child ( 2 years old , almost three) was there , I get a call at 12 pm because he refused to nap, was "hyper" and was "jumping on the sleeping bags" they set out. Mind you , this is his first day in a new environment. She asked if I could pick him up. I complied and grabbed him because I didnt know what else to do .. I had never had a daycare request this. The second day , I get a call at 11 am that my child was "going up the slide wrong way" and that he got on top of a child chair and tried to jump from it and got hurt.. could I pick him up ? By this point , I started to think that this daycare wasnt equipped to deal with toddler behavior. They weren't willing to assist him in acclimating to the school in anyway and were quick to disrupt my workday for situations they should have been able to resolve with a little patience. By the third day , they told me that they had to hire extra help to have my child in the class and that they didnt feel it was the right place for him (only five kids in the class). When i asked why , they said he was too hyper. They gave me two weeks to find a new daycare. Simultaneously, they kept telling me daily that "he was doing so much better" and no incident was ever recorded ( he wasnt biting , hitting, being aggressive, breaking things etc). Everytime I went to pick him up he was playing with a puzzle ( quietly) or playing normally in the playground. Obviously I became distraught over this experience because I work and needed reliable child care and also because she was insinuating my child had some sort of condition for which he needed extra assistance. I took him to the pediatrician , who evaluated him and confirmed that there was absolutely nothing I needed to worry about and that it was all normal toddler behavior. I then noticed that there was a clear shortage of teachers in the schools and that the teacher in my school app was not the same one in my child's classroom ( honestly I am almost positive she was an aid and not a teacher). Overall , if you are considering this daycare , I suggest you do a trial run to see if your kid meets the owners expectations of the owner and I encourage you to reconsider if reliable child care is needed.

If you think your child will be safe at this school THINK AGAIN. This BY FAR is the worst care…read morefacility my son has ever attended. Several times my son has come home with missing socks, bruises and scratches, a bust lip and it was never explained no one ever has a clue as to what goes on among the children. I've caught them (teachers, and the admin staff) several times talking negatively about students, parents, and enticing awkward social situations between children for their own entertainment which I assumed were isolated situations. Its understandable that ( untrained ) kids get rough especially when sharing toys but this is another story. I get a call ( I didn't get a call the first time my son burst his lip) that my son burst his lip at school. It's explained to me that another child "pushed" my son and he fell and busted his lip (same story as the first time). They tell me that the child that pushed him is "special needs" and they are going to talk to the parents. I go to the school to see my son and see no signs of a burst lip, what I see instead is my son's face looking like it was mauled by a wild animal with scratches deep and shallow all over his face, on both his cheeks, across his nose and in the cavities of his eyes as if someone had attacked him steadily and repeatedly. I ask every single teacher in the school if they were there and if they knew what happened. ONLY ONE "teacher" admitted to being there and she tells me that she has no idea what happened she just saw my son sitting by himself in a corner alone looking upset with his head down so she went over to him and noticed that he had blood on his shirt. MY SON ENDURED A BRUTAL ATTACK AND WAS LEFT TO SIT THERE AND BLEED ALL DOWN HIS SHIRT (see picture) ALONE UNTIL SOMEONE NOTICED HIM. I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED BY THE FACILITY AND I WILL BE REPORTING THEM TO EVERY AGENCY POSSIBLE.

No one knew where or how it happened. Later that night I noticed bruises on his stomach, legs and arms which is normal for a boy so I decided to see how the following week played out before changing him. Again his first day back this week and he comes home with nail marks on his arm and no one at the school knows who or when that happened. Today as I go to take my son a bath he has a bite mark on his arm which I didn't see because I sent him to school in a long sleeve shirt to avoid more possible nail marks. Luckily I found him a new school and he will no longer be attending. These kids are clearly not being watched which is these teachers only job in the hours I pay for my son to be in their care. Please take your kid elsewhere. I do appreciate the two girls in the front office. One was nice enough to try and console my son and the other tried rewinding the cameras to try and see what happened. But as my son would be in the care of the teachers who didn't seem too concerned when I showed my sons injuries I refuse to let him stay in this school.
