The teachers are fantastic -- they're caring, energetic, and really know how to connect with the kids. They challenge them without overwhelming them, and you can clearly see the progress. Our daughter's reading and math skills have jumped so much this year, and she's actually excited to tell us what she learned every day after school. The school has a really warm, family feel to it. The class sizes are small, so the kids get plenty of attention, and the staff is always friendly and easy to talk to. They also do a lot of fun hands-on activities, STEM projects, and field trips that the kids love. Even the lunches are fresh and actually taste good, which is a nice bonus. Most importantly, our daughter wakes up happy and looks forward to going to school every morning. That alone says everything. If you're looking for a strong private school in the Hollywood area, I would definitely recommend Sunshine State Academy. We feel very lucky to be there.

I scheduled a tour and Lupe showed me around. She was very friendly and so is the rest of the staff. The place is bright and clean and there's an outside playground with a garden. They have a no shoe policy in the classrooms which I love because that's also our policy at home too. We bought a membership and a package and so far our 22 month old likes it.

The facility is clean and the staff is so nice. As I am Hispanic, I love that the women taking care of the infants are all Hispanic (personal preference). I love that they immediately told me all of the things they would need to care for him and that everything should be labeled. The fact that they need several changes of clothes, bibs, sheets, towels to keep him clean is a huge comfort for me. The fact that they requested detailed info about my son and what helps soothe/ease him etc is amazing. As a mom a big concern for me is leaving my baby with a stranger all day that doesn't know what he likes/dislikes. Also the fact that they have an app to communicate and send photos/updates throughout the day is so so great. They also include formula/baby food with is a huge plus. I honestly couldn't be happier. If you need a place for your kids and the location works for you I definitely recommend you check them out. (These were the only pictures I was able to take since I wasn't going to snap pictures with the kids in them. But the same way you see the pics from the business owner is how the place looked.
