When I asked her head trainer on his thoughts, he responded to just "schedule a private." Don't worry, they're only $200, after the thousands given for the 3, 2, and 2 week long board/trains and refresher. This time last year, my dog did her last refresher and I removed her from MSK9. We went on to work successfully with behaviorists in December for reactivity. How disgusting to set a working level at a 17 on a 6 mo old puppy. The use of the prong and e-collar in this institution is appalling. I'm not against these tools, but the people handling them are not worth your money nor your dogs well-being.

My dog is now cowering from me whenever she sees her collar about to go on. This is not a good place for any animal to be taken. Ive been told by others that they were over doing it with the choke chain; and it shows. $800 dollars for a dog training and she doesn't listen to anything. They promised me so many thing they would have done by the end of the month and seeing nothing at 2 weeks really upset me. My own dog cowers from me now. I have no choice but to go to small claim court to get my money back seems they wouldn't offer my money back for poor service. When I confronted them with this, they immediately tried to turn it around and tell me it was my fault; that was a mistake. I wish I could give a negative star and go on the news and tell the world to stay away from this place. I also don't like the fact that I was told by staff that they were only spending 2 or 3 times a day at 10 to 15 minutes a time. This was just an expensive day care for dogs that stay locked up for over 90% of the time they are there. I noticed all the responses from management about negative comments; all you do is turn things around and make it sound like it's the dog owner's fault. My dog is worse now than she was before I brought her to you.

They are available by text and phone in between the Friday training sessions with the dog owners & their dogs. We are only 2 weeks into the training which last for 15 sessions but are excited to register our 2nd dog as soon as our Jaxon wraps up his training. AMAZING RESULTS!! Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? Our nine year old American…read moreEskimo, Bella, struggled with anxiety her entire life. Bella is a very sweet and loving dog but she barked aggressively when anyone came near our door, let alone knock/ring bell. Any change made her nervous and jumpy. A visit to the vet would cause anxious behavior for a week after each appointment. Other dogs made her nervous even though we had socialized her from a very young age. When walking she would stiffen whenever another dog or children were near by us. We have always exercised Bella a lot and that helped but never eliminated these issues. Then I read about the Fort Collins Dog Wizard online. I was just hoping to improve her quality of life a little... I never imagine or dreamed of the results we would get. Cullen did a house visit to assess Bella. He sat at our house talking calmly to me about Bella and her personality the entire time he ignored Bella. After the first ten minutes, she was begging for his attention but he still let her have her space. I couldn't believe the calming presence he brought and he hit all her scary buttons (a man with a hat). After talking to me, he said he thought they could absolutely help her. We sent her to them for three weeks and she worked primarily with Maddy. We visited Bella a week into the training, we got our first training session, and we were already amazed. When we picked her up at the end of the three weeks, we received more training and very clear and strict instructions on how to continue the work. Maddy visited us at our home in the coming weeks to assess Bella and help answer any questions we had on techniques or progress. Once you've been through the program there are graduate classes that you and your dog can attend for free every Saturday as well as a Facebook group for graduates to share/ask questions and you can always contact Cullen, Jess, or Maddy. Six months ago we had a dog that freaked out if a car door closed outside our house, UPS truck drove by, or anyone came to our house. Last week on Halloween our doorbell rang and door was knocked on all night and not one peep from Bella. She sat quietly on her place and enjoyed her evening. We have dinner parties with lots of loud laughing and moving about and she calmly lays on her bed until we let her come off and then she enjoys the attention from our friends. Her quality of life is so much better and now everyone can see her sweet and loving personality instead of a barking, scared dog. My only regret was not finding the Dog Wizard sooner. When we adopt our next dog, they will be the first phone call I make after adoption.

He jumped, ran circles around them, became extremely hyper, and barked aggressively (even at people that live in the house with us). In addition to that, he was a little skittish in general and is still very nervous around other dogs. Lisa came to my home and the training began immediately. She was only there for an hour, but Lisa is so intuitive to dogs' individual personalities that the insight she provided gave me the tools I needed to correct the behaviors. There are a lot of opinions and dog trainers out there; using other methods, training took me weeks, and months to even see a slight change in the behaviors I was trying to correct. It has only been a few days since Lisa came for training, but his behavior and demeanor has drastically improved, and he is actually responding to what I teaching him! I am looking forward to continuing my training with Lisa in her Behavior 101 class to improve his approach to other dogs, and my ability to be an effective and responsible dog owner. Lisa has given me the confidence and the tools to be the best dog owner I can be. She is the ONLY dog trainer I would recommend, and the only one I will use in the future. Thanks, Lisa!

We started using…read moreHustlin' Hounds for pet (cat) sitting services based on a stellar review and recommendation from good friends. For a few years, everything was fine (but my mom also checked in regularly on the cats). My only "requirements" were to feed them wet food daily (and dispose of any uneaten wet food before adding new wet food) and make sure they had plenty of clean water, and refill dry food and water as needed. Everything would be set out - food, trash can (to dispose of the empty cans from wet food and any uneaten wet food) paper towels & carpet cleaner (for any messes), etc. My mom generally scooped litter boxes since they were in various places in the house. As I said, prior to our last vacation, all was OK for a service that I knew was more oriented to dogs. This last trip however I was very disappointed. Upon coming home, we discovered that wet food was not disposed of timely and had actually become moldy. This single occurrence has caused this review and as such, I will be finding a new service or person that is oriented to only caring for cats and their needs while we are away.

I have over 30 years of experience at boarding barns and have never experienced a more kind or conscientious barn owner. An added bonus is that she does a wonderful job of keeping the community that boards with her drama free! I found Autumn when my incorrigible thoroughbred needed 6 months of stall rest. Edens Aspens took wonderful care of him and then Autumn helped me rehab him from the injury. She also helped me start a young horse of mine. She is patient with both horse and rider, uses pressure and release methods but also takes both horse and rider's emotional state into account in a way that truly deepens the relationship between the two. She is a gifted horsewoman and her insight extends to people as well. I would recommend Edens Aspens to anyone lookin to expand their riding skills (beginner or skilled rider) or for a safe home for their equine!

After all this time, I still see her ranch as the pinnacle of boarding facilities. She treats the horses as they were meant to be treated, with daily turnout (REAL turnout! not in dry lots, but legitimate pastures!), and the horses get to be in a herd environment where they create friendships and learn boundaries from each other. When they're not in pasture, the horses have continuous access to hay, which is what horses are meant to have to reach ideal health. If anything, my easy keeper mare needs to lose a couple pounds, lol - but she's happy and chunky! The best part? Autumn does an excellent job of keeping her facility positive, peaceful, and devoid of drama. A very difficult achievement when it comes to boarding facilities! As a trainer, Autumn is very in-tune to the horse and handler's needs. She teaches horse owners how to form a relationship with their horse that is built on the foundation of mutual respect and appreciation for one another. The liberty work and obstacles give you fun and challenging goals that often blow the minds of horse and riders during the process. After working with Autumn, you'll find that your horse genuinely seeks their human out for leadership and love, rather than begrudgingly going to work. It is an enjoyable experience for everyone involved! Highly recommended!
