Mrs. Annette quickly won my daughter over with her cheerful disposition and was able to test my daughter without so much as one frown. She thought the test was fun and eagerly anticipated her first tutoring session at Mathnasium! I like you can get your money's worth by visiting as many times as you want Monday-Thursday and on Saturday mornings. My daughter loves working with Mrs. Sharon especially as the woman has the patience of Job! She loves the small learning groups, math games, and that you can earn treats (candy and toys) for work completion. Math has become my daughter's favorite subject with her grade going from a low C to a high A. She readily volunteers to solve problems in class where she once had complete meltdowns in class. Her third quarter report card indicated that she has mastery of all of her grade level standards except two so the teacher commented that she would focus on those two standards and allow my daughter to start working on the next grade level!

Mathnasium has been a tremendous help to get my daughter ready for Algebra 1 by filling in gaps in…read moreher Algebra skills. At the end of the last school year she was convinced that she was ready for Algebra 1 in the Fall so I asked her to complete an Algebra assessment exam at Mathnasium to confirm that she was ready. The assessment clearly showed that she was not at all ready and showed her the skills she needed to work on. Mathnasium developed a program that targeted these and she went to Mathnasium over the summer to work on them. We are now well into the first semester of the school year and she is making close to an A in Algebra 1. I can't thank Annette and the rest of the Mathnasium team enough for helping her!!
