They do have a no return policy on the dresses, but I understand that. I'm sure there are scammers who try to buy it, wear it once, and then return it. The employee was a tall young skinny girl that was passive aggressive with me and said we can't return your money because it has runs and scuffs. I said look at all of your dresses this is how they come. I grabbed dresses randomly from the rack and showed her that they all had scuffs and runs. She said sorry return it back online and that was it. Apart that the dresses were damaged the customer service was poor. I definitely won't recommend any of my daughter's friends parents to shop there.

She was very friendly but not overtly salesy which I appreciated. There were so many great options, I ended up trying 6 different dresses. The downside to this store is that there weren't many size options available for the same dress. I ended up leaving with 3 dresses, so much for getting the one thing I needed lol one of the dresses had a minor flaw and she gave me a very good discount. However, it is a very good little store and people must know. Essence is tucked away on Miracle Mile, right next to the Crepe Maker. Just by looking at the window, you'd think that it's just another expensive boutique on The Mile that you can only afford a shoe. On the contrary, Essence carries the last est fashion at a very competitive price, especially for Miracle Mile. They only carry 1 of each S/M/L sizes per item, so it's first come first serve. Besides the clothes, they also carry a nice selection of shoes and accessories. You can walk out of the store in all new gear from head to toe.
