We ordered cabinets from our local kitchen dealer (whom we love). They arrived yesterday with 9/19 cabinets damaged. The damage ranges from multiple manufacturing defects to obvious shipping damage. Our kitchen rep and GC came right out and we went through each cabinet with a fine tooth comb. The number of damaged cabinets was outrageous and definitely pointed toward a quality control issue as well as a packaging issue ( thin cardboard which was ripped open on every cabinet.) I decided to take the issues to the folks who could make a difference and called the CEO's office. A poor customer service rep isn't going to be able to fix it and surely should not have to deal with issues he/she did not create. My dealings with the Exec Office, were, "interesting". The conversation started with "YOU are not our client, the kitchen dealer is. WE do not deal with homeowners." It went downhill from there. I REALLY think it's interesting when an Executive Team feels that the folks who purchase the product THEY manufacture have no right to call out shoddy construction. My kitchen dealer sure as hell didn't make this CRAP product! They did not care one iota that they are selling very expensive crap. I mean if you can't make 19 painted empty wooden boxes for over $30k and get them safely from one part of the US to another, what the actual........????? Literally, cabinets are empty wooden boxes with simple hinge doors... Just like the other folks here, my kitchen dealer is offering to send out a "refinisher" from their company to fix the cabinets that DON'T need to be replaced. I am looking at ANOTHER 4+ weeks without a kitchen. I then dug deep into online reviews and the only positive ones are from kitchen designers. These are also the only reviews that KITH bothers to reply to. I would say that you should believe the negative reviews and that corporate's response to me just solidifies their abject indifference to their actual clients - the homeowners. Stay away. I recieved one of the panels (DWR3L-AW) damaged from Kith. I am working through Home Outlet and they have been great, but Kith has not responded to a simple Customer Service request for 5 days. Nothing. No response. Absolutly terrible that they can not send an email. read more

We purchased Kith Kitchen cabinets in March of 2021. Don't believe the "lifetime warranty". Just a short 3 years later our custom cabinets have seams on fronts disintegrating and paint chipping on cabinet fronts. Kith used reason as "moisture" and normal wear and tear. Never sent a representative to view our cabinets. We live in Rhode Island, one of the least moisture areas in the country. These cabinets are manufactured in one of the greater moisture areas in the country, Alabama. Just wanted to warn any prospective customers to stay clear of this inferior product. read more

Absolute trash....$2M build and my Kith products look like garbage. In fact, I am refusing to accept the house until Kith and Cabinet Genies (the local dealer) fix. Love spending 6 figures on cabinets to be told "we have a great refinisher". Why do I need a refinisher before moving in? The colors and glazes are all different. The cabinets are truly the worst part about my project. I was told "they used to be really good but were bought out and they have really struggled"...not sure how true the statement but I can tell these cabinets are horrible. read more

I was a dealer for about two years in my 29 years of business, and that was the toughest pill to swallow. every promised ever given was never delivered, shipping companies will call me and say that they refuse to deliver my kitchen because kith did not pay enough for the delivery so they going to hold the merchandise. I was a paid in advance account and at least twice before delivery i had to provide prove that we did pay for the kitchen. 4 weeks turn around become 20 and 20 later they call you with another delay for 4 weeks never with any kind of excusable reasons. however they will make sure that you are aware of god. everything is about god. The product we have displayed has fail apart on the wall since the crap always shrinks. stay away if you want happy customers read more

After waiting three months, I just received my cabinets that cost $28,000. Every single cabinet has damage and the cabinets look like a toddler assembled them. I have 63 pictures of damage on doors and drawers along with poor cabinet construction And pieces that are cracked. I don't know how they could have shipped cabinets that looked like this. Once I figure out how to add the pictures to this post, I will . I am waiting for a response from the company as to what is going to be done. Quite honestly, I want a refund . I'm at the tail end of finishing a complete kitchen renovation. Kith cabinets have been an absolute nightmare since day one. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. Cabinets were made the wrong size. Several of the doors were poorly constructed & mismatched cabinet doors with 2 different styles. Mismatched decorative columns, the panels on the cabinet doors were crooked. It's like a 5 year old made them. Then after putting in a replacement order, I'm still receiving poorly constructed & damaged doors. So I need replacement of my replacement cabinet doors. Weeks go by and I'm in limbo waiting for my kitchen to be complete but I just keep going backwards. Their quality control is so bad, I hope my cabinet retailer I purchased them from stops selling them to their customers. These are not stock cabinets off the shelf at Lowe's. It's a disgrace, they should be ashamed of themselves.... read more

I can only speak to my experience with Kith as a dealer. My experience is also ONLY with the all wood frameless series. The overall quality of Kith compared to all cabinet brands in my estimation is 4 stars, but the overall value and selections compared to similar price cabinet lines makes Kith 5 stars. Kith is NOT a high end cabinet line and instead marketed as an value line of cabinets with high-end features. I sell a great deal of Kith, but managing customer expectations is key. I would advise firsthand Inspection of any cabinet a buyer is considering. Go and look at Kith cabinets and doors at the dealer showroom. Ask the dealer to see some cabinets in the warehouse that have been received but awaiting installation. This will allow you see the quality of the construction. Ask your dealer about Kith quality and compare directly to other offerings. I think all Kith dealers will explain the value proposition of Kith and where it fits in their cabinet offerings. I would assume Kith will be in the mid-range of offerings -the BETTER, in a good, better, best offering scenario. The quality of the Kith paint is consistent and good, but it is not equal to more expensive cabinet brands. The finish is much better than other brands in the price point and still very good overall. Kith meets the KCMA standard for quality assurance and offers a lifetime warranty. The KithOne series has all 5/8" thick plywood construction, a dovetail box and soft close Blum hinges and drawer slides, and a huge selections of doors. Kith also offers two things generally only offered in high end lines: brushed glazed finishes and any color of Sherwin-Williams paint as a custom option. Again, for Kith, think quality for the cost and options available. With my Kith jobs, if damage occurs in shipping, Kith replaces the damaged parts, without hassle in generally 3 weeks. My customer care experience from Kith as a dealer has been excellent. All cabinet lines have damage which occurs in shipping. It is standard practice for all cabinet lines to require the dealer/receiver to inspect for hidden damage immediately upon receiving the cabinets, take photos of any damage and immediately request replacement parts. Shipping damage is a hassle and anyone receiving cabinets or furniture knows this is an expected part of the business. I have read negative reviews and have seen the photos of cracked frame or cracked door. Of course a cracked frame is a huge problem and a cracked frame requires a replacement of the whole cabinet. Without judging or understanding the whole situation, I cannot understand why the damaged cabinets were installed and instead of having the cabinet replaced. Giving clients the options of high end cabinet line and comparing the option of Kith, many clients opt for Kith as a great value choice. If the expectations of Kith are realistic, the outcome is excellent. read more

My wife and I spent over 11 grand on these cabinets. Let me let you we had nothing but problems from day one. Even had a factory rep come out. They worked with us trying to make them right. Told us we had a 5 year warranty. Well don't believe that. I have cabinet doors that are bad and they want do a thing about it. Told me a had to go back the place we purchased them from. It is not possible to give "0" stars or I would. We ordered cabinets from Kith 3 years ago. Soon after they were installed we noticed imperfections in the paint and finish. We have had representatives here. Replacement doors have been ordered and delivered more than 5 times. Each time they arrive there is damage such as dents, scratches, rust spots, paint and finish problems. Several doors have been warped. The quality of this product stinks and the company has NO quality control. Who ships out obviously damaged product? After investing a lot of money I am starting to think we were ripped off and Kith Kitchens will never make it right. read more

What a nightmare! We ordered seven pieces of furniture for our bathroom. Every piece had some sort of damage and/or scratch, and none of it was due to shipping. One of the towers had glue splotches down the entire side. The bench seat had cracks in the veneer and a light stripe down the center where the wood had been scraped and then stained so it didn't match the rest of the seat. It had to be reordered. When they packaged up one of the vanities, they put the packing tape directly on the door, so that when the tape was removed, there was a line of stickiness down the front of the vanity. Had to reorder a door. There was a spot on one of the vanities which had an area where you could tell they had been staining, stopped, and started again. The color was darker where they had stopped. One of the vanities was milled incorrectly such that the drawers didn't close properly and left no room for adjustment. When we received the correctly milled vanity, there was a scratch on one of the doors where they had tried to fix it, but stained it with a different color of stain. Every piece is "stain starved," meaning that the edges and corners are a lighter shade or look like there is no stain. They sent a touch-up and repair kit, but it is the wrong color. There were so many problems, that the company through whom we ordered these cabinets (Ideal Cabinetry) had to send out a "furniture doctor" to fix the issues. And, I just want to add that each piece of furniture had a Quality Control sticker on the back showing that someone had looked over these items and deemed them acceptable. If this is the quality that this company puts out, I would not recommend them to anyone. read more
