The food here is amazing. All the items here are made fresh in house. The focaccia beard was lite and very tasty with ricotta and olive oil. The pizza was superb but it was taken to the next level with the house made hot olive oil. Our wait staff person was Mary. She was so nice and had a lot of information on their wines and the area. We visited this winery while staying in the Niagara-on-the-Lake region and overall had a pretty mixed experience. The property itself is absolutely beautiful--really well maintained, scenic, and a great place to sit and enjoy the surroundings. That part definitely stood out and felt very elevated. We originally came in for food, and while my meal was good, others at our table were pretty disappointed with theirs. Service was fine, nothing particularly memorable either way, but not a dealbreaker. Overall, I'd say it was a decent visit with a gorgeous setting, but a few inconsistencies in food and pricing brought it down. I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars. read more

Had a great lunch here on the patio. The service is very friendly, almost too friendly as we had just placed our order with a server and another server approached and asked for our order. We told them we just placed our order and she said she was our main server and there must be a mix up. Strange but in any case, we placed our order and took some amazing pictures of the vineyards while waiting. The patio has such beautiful views of the row and row of vineyards. The main building is massive with tasting rooms, a store and a restaurant in the back. I recommend reservations as walk-ins, although can get lucky, may have a difficult time getting a table. We ordered the housemate foccacia with olive oil and ricotta and it did not disappoint. We also ordered the stuffed ravioli, sliced AAA beef, and the panko crusted chicken. All these dishes were top notch. Flavorful, just the right sided serving, and so satisfying. The beef was tender and melted in my mouth. It came with a grilled veggies. The Pandora crusted chicken had a really good lemon garlic sauce and the stuffed raviolis really hit the spot. Not doughy and the filling was seasoned beautifully. Highly recommended for a great lunch with friends or family or even solo to take in the amazing view with some amazing food. A very upscale restaurant and a very upscale winery. Ambiance, service and food are all outstanding. Our waiter, Josh, has been there for 11 years, which speaks volumes about staff loyalty. His knowledge of wine was impressive, as were the wines. The winery makes a large selection and style of wines and all are available by the glass with dinner. The menu is broken down into four separate courses, plus a dessert course, as is typical at European Italian restaurants. The dining experience and the food are just delightful. read more

I recently visited Two Sisters Vineyard after hearing good reviews about Kitchen76! We tried their truffle ravioli, calabrese pizza, and salumi formaggi paired with rosé. The food was great! We sat out on the patio on a very hot day and our server made sure our experience was made comfortable, keeping our drinks ice-cold and refilled and even setting up extra shade to beat the heat. The drive itself into this estate is beautiful. The trees are lit up on the pathway. The entrance, the corridor, all of it is eye catching. During the day, you can take a stroll in the back and look at the vineyard. Onto the Kitchen at 2 sisters. The ambiance was romantic, candle lights and dimmed room really created a warm intimate setting. The dinner menu is limited but that was expected. We loved our lunch at Kitchen76! We had focaccia bread and olive oil along with carpaccio to start. For main entrees, we share the Margherita pizza, grilled octopus, and the goat cheese ravioli. The ravioli was so good, we ordered a second portion! I don't remember the names of our desserts, but they were the perfect finish to this delicious meal. A little hard to find in the dark (our GPS took us to the wrong spot--look for the Two Sisters winery) but Kitchen76 is worth the visit. We came in for dinner after a long day of traveling and it was the perfect spot to unwind and have a beautiful leisurely meal. We started with the burrata and it was a generous serving of creamy rich cheese drizzled with local honey and topped with some edible flowers. It was as beautiful to look at as it was to eat. I was craving pasta so I went with the rigatoni (served with a bolognese of veal, pork, beef) for my entree and it was so good I stuffed myself with almost every single bite. My husband went with the Dolce e Salato pizza Mozzarella, gorgonzola, pear, Prosciutto di Parma toasted walnuts, arugula and honey (no walnuts for him, however, he's allergic) and loved it. I also enjoyed a glass of their sparkling rose to go with it and it was lovely meal. Was way too full for dessert but it all sounded amazing. Service was very attentive and friendly. The dining room is dim but lovely. I'm a mosquito magnet so we opted to eat inside vs. the lovely patio, but we peeked outside and could see us returning for another visit for a meal or glass of wine out there. Kitchen 76 has so many superlatives, it really is hard to say something new about how wonderful this restaurant is! From the sublime food dishes, to the professional service, and the beautiful outdoor dining patio, this is the real deal, and out favorite restaurant in the NOTL area. I'll get right to what keeps us coming here: the glorious food (and wine!) We enjoyed the Polpo Grigliato (grilled octopus) which was served as a warm cannellini bean salad, with guanciale, heirloom tomato and bomba mascarpone. Superbly prepared, fresh, interesting, and enough to share for 2-3 people as a starter. We followed this with our main dish of Rigatoni Bolognese, fresh made pasta with traditional house Bolognese of veal, pork & beef and Parmigiano-Reggiano, another authentic Italian dish that never fails to satisfy. We did also have a Margherita pizza from their wood-fired oven. It didn't last long enough for pictures lol! BTW, we also enjoyed a bottle of their fantastic Lush Sparkling Rosé to start, followed by their 2017 Cabernet Franc, which was flexible enough to go with the pizza and Bolognese. One of the most beautiful patios in Niagara on the Lake. With the sunset over the Vines and the architecture or the patio it puts you in a mood to relax. The food is excellent. With generous portions and Italian menu of fresh ideas this place has an excellent mix of farm to table with a hint of Italy. Most items are local with some special imports. The wines here are excellent from the bubbles to the reds I enjoyed several tasting options. I highly recommend to drink by the glass so you can try a few options. This lovely restaurant left a lasting impression. We sat out on the patio although it was still a bit cool out but the breathtaking view could not be missed. I think some heaters would be a great addition here. Other than that, my experience here was perfect. The server was knowledgeable about the menu and wine choices. We were a large party and she was very patient and attentive with us. Most of us started with a salad followed with a pizza or pasta dish. We also had a couple of orders of arancini to go around. I love this dish but I'm often disappointed when I order it at restaurants. Not this time. This is how arancini are supposed to be. Not too big. Moist. Flavourful. I want another one as I'm writing about it. I ordered the carpaccio as my single dish but it came out with the salads so I really took my time so that I wouldn't be sitting there watching everyone eat their pasta. It was hard not to devour the insanely tender beef covered with fresh arugula leaves, shaved parmesan, drizzled with an exquisite olive oil and sprinkled with toasted pine nuts. Actually, being forced to savour this dish slowly was a good thing. I'm a light eater, so this was perfect for me but may not be enough if you enjoy a heartier meal. For that, you should definitely go with the pizza. There are a few interesting choices but I would say the classic Margarita is your best option. My sister had it and she said it was delicious. Looking around the patio, I could see that every single person was enjoying their food and wine. I will definitely be back. read more

This was our first time back since the 'border' opened and have to say we won't be back! It took over 2 1/2 hours for us to have dinner. The only time we saw our waitress is when we ordered our wine and appetizers and then when the bill was delivered. From the time we finished our appetizers to when we received our meals, it was more than 45 minutes. We didn't have anything special and actually sent my VERY bland pasta back and got pizza instead. We wanted to have dessert, but opted out after we'd already been there so long. There were tables seated after us that had appetizers, meals, and dessert that were finished and leaving before us. I've been coming to Two Sisters and this restaurant since it first opened. This place is absolutely breathtaking. If you eat at the restaurant, make sure you get a table on the patio, overlooking the vineyard. As much as I want to give all the stars just for the facilities alone, they need some major improvements in service. Whilst food is not spectacular, you certainly don't get your money's worth when it's served by pretentious waiters. Every single time I've been there, I was disappointed in every waitress's overall demeanor and attitude. Looks like quite a few other people would agree with me based on some reviews I've read. Now that Two Sisters has gotten so much publicity and multiple awards, perhaps they need to focus on making sure they keep that status for many more years. My partner and I were excited to celebrate our 10 yr anniversary at Kitchen76 because we were not able to enjoy our planned wedding due to covid. We have heard so many great things and we were so excited for our evening out.. Unfortunately the experience wasn't what we had hoped for. I had put in the reservation that we were celebrating a big anniversary and unknown to us, my mum even called ahead and provided her credit card to treat us to dinner because of the exciting occasion. We were then seated and it took 20+ minutes to even be greeted by a waitress. We found the whole service extremely slow and were shocked at the Prix fix offering. It was very overpriced for what was offered. There was absolutely nothing special about the evening and we left very disappointed. We gave our feedback to a manager the next day and they weren't helpful and kind of rude making excuse after excuse and not even acknowledging why we'd be upset. I don't normally leave reviews like this but feel as though it needs to be shared. read more

The wine is amazing. The pizza is amazing. We come every time we visit Niagara on the Lake, and we're never disappointed. The prices are definitely on the high side, but splitting a pizza and an appetizer (we love carpaccio in general, and Kitchen76's doesn't disappoint) and a couple of glasses of wine (lush rose brut, I love you!) isn't too terrible price-wise. We'll be back, and we'll sit on the patio (opening May 1st), drink excellent wine, and eat amazing pizza. We'll wander through the vineyard, and tell our friends to come here too. read more

This is a very lovely resturant within and absolutely beautiful vineyard. I cant get over how amazing this place is and how much nicer it will be in the summer. The Food is good but a little on the expensive side. We started with a cheese board which was just OK, nothing too special and one of the cheeses was a bit too hard. For mains we shared the Funghi Pizza - this was really good and the Tortellini - this was more like a soup than pasta, 6 tortellini floating in a red wine vinegar broth. I wasn't blown away but it was good. I would come back for a wine tour and definitely to sit on the patio overlooking the vineyard! read more

The first thing that I think of when I think about my experience here is how beautiful the interior decor is and the view of the vineyards here. The ambience is romantic even during the day. I recommend coming here in the summer or fall to really experience the beauty of this place. In terms of food, our anniversary lunch here was good but not amazing. The arancini (rice balls) tasted alright with the savoury tomato sauce but were lukewarm when it arrived. The rabbit pasta and the beef dip sandwich were also okay but could have used a bit more seasoning. Something was off about the flavours but having wine helped. All dishes were okay for the prices listed since they tend to cost more at wineries. Greeters and servers were polite enough and professional. Our server was also apologetic when our entrees took a while. I was a bit disappointed though that nothing special was done for our anniversary lunch - not even an acknowledgement of it considering that we chose to spend it here out of any other restaurant in NOTL. This was also considering that I noted it when making our reservation. It didn't dampen our celebrations for that day but would have been a nice touch and of course appreciated. Very overpriced, mediocre food, OK wine, and a lack of sophistication in service and operations. Go to Peller Estates across the the road for a kitchen that knows what they're doing, better service, and better food. We came for a Father's Day dinner at 6pm on Sunday - it seemed to be an average night, not too busy, though it likely peaked around 7pm. We waited over 45 min between our appetizer and entrees. We received the wrong wine after speaking with our server twice about it. Food is heavily overpriced for the quality (especially the mains). You know you're screwed for dinner when the only thing you remember are the potatoes. Context: Kitchen76 is an Italian restaurant located inside Two Sisters Vineyard, a small winery that was named the 2018 Best Small Winery in Ontario. There is the standard Italian fare on the menu - appetizers, pizza, pasta, and some mains. 1. Pizza: Margherita ($22): average, slightly undercooked. The oven is not wood fired, so the pizza lacked those blistery bubbles on the crust that is a given requirement for any pizza over $20. 2. Fried Artichokes ($18): Flash fried artichokes mixed with parmesan. It was interesting, but nothing to write home about. 3. Pesce Crudo ($20): OK, the "local" berries that they used were far too sour to be eaten with the fish. I guess it gets acknowledgement for being visually appealing? 4. Lamb ($60): We received 3 pieces of a lamb chop (apparently this was a very small lamb), with 2 onions. While it was cooked to our preference and tasted fine, this was by far the largest disappointment of the night. 5. Squid Ink Pasta with Clams ($32): The pasta was clumpy and overcooked, the clams were sandy and paltry, and I think they forgot the nduja sausage. Please, take this off the menu. 6. Sides: fried zucchini slices with feta ($13) and crispy potatoes ($12). The crispy potatoes were great. The zucchini slices were cold and heavily oversalted. We were so busy thinking about how disappointing the meal and wine were that we couldn't bear to stay for dessert. read more

You can pretty much get the same anywhere else but it's just the location being in a winery and in NOTL that it's over priced. The service tries to be really high class which is normal for NOTL but me and my friend got a pizza, pasta and two glasses of wine and split the bill totaling to $60 each... that's a lot for basic Italian food. Since dining here last year and annually since they opened the kitchen operations have declined to the point where dinner dishes arrive luke warm. Menu pricing is at a premium. - the menu is good with distinct elements, ingredients are fresh, wait staff friendly, outdoor patio excellent and indoor restaurant ok but please serve your meals hot. Don't let patrons' meals sit in the kitchen so long that by the time they are served they are almost cold Kitchen 76 needs to improve their operations perhaps an owner should be on site especially during peak season. read more

Pizza appetizer was good (maybe even worth returning for given how beautiful the venue is) but not great. Soup of the day (tabled disappointingly seconds after our pizza arrived) was just ok. Pasta (too al dente) main course was left 1/4 to 3/4 uneaten by all 4 of us yet we were only asked if we had room for dessert? $150 signature wine should not even be on the menu let alone served given its' current state of evolvement. Kitchen 76 is housed within the Two Sisters Winery building. It's a grand space with high ceilings, decorated with medieval-inspired chandeliers and exposed wooden beams. The rabbits at the reception add a whimsical twist to the earthy decor. The waitstaff were pretty attentive for how busy it was the night we were there. The menu was very standard Italian. I ordered the polenta, osso buco, and some sides. The food itself was ok; not terrible but nothing to get excited about. We also ordered the 2013 Riesling, Stone Eagle Reserve, and both ice wines which, along with the beignets were probably the best part of the meal. We love wine and specifically the Two Sisters vineyard. The Italian restaurant, Kitchen 76, is a great compliment to the beautiful 'vigneto'. The carpaccio is unreal as well as the homemade focaccia. We were a pretty large party with 4 children under the age of 3, so I'm guessing that our servers weren't super excited to see us (:-p) but they took nice are of us, even bringing out some paper coffee cups for my SIL who had forgotten sippy cups for her littles. Food and wine were on the better side of average - I ended up sharing a pizza with my littles but everyone seemed to love their pasta and seafood. Their bubbly rose was pretty decent! The first surprise at the restaurant was the fact that they only serve wine and a small selection of beer. They identify that it is a 'winery first, restaurant second'...but this is not clearly identified when making the reservation and honestly, after sampling wine ALL day, we were ready for a refreshing cocktail. We ordered appetizers to share at the table, which were very good. Highlights were the arancini and carpaccio. For dinner, we all ordered pasta meals which were good, but for the price, underwhelming... We didn't partake in dessert. The restaurant is highly rated but in my opinion a bit too hyped for the overall value of the meal and experience. read more

Visited 10/03/2017 for dinner. I was checking reviews for restaurants in NOTL and this came up as one of the best, although it turns out there are many many really excellent restaurants in this area. But I chose Kitchen 76 because we stopped by earlier in the day to check out the vineyard and their wine tasting. While we were told a few times that we were lucky to have gotten reservations, when we arrived for dinner (6:30) there were plenty of tables available... and still available when we left hours later. None the less, this is an excellent restaurant with wonderful food and service. We weren't all that hungry, so no appetizers this time. I had the Orecchetti with sausage and rapini. (or broccoli-rabe) My wife had the roasted breast of chicken with white beans stufato, wilted greens and goat cheese. Both of these dishes were very very good. I can see what the hype is all about. We sat out in the courtyard and watched the sun set over the vineyard, enjoying dinner and an amazing bottle of their wine. If I have one criticism it is this. We had stopped in for a wine tasting earlier in the day and bought a bottle of their wine. We paid $X.00 for this bottle (and a couple others) and that's fine. We decided to try this same bottle of wine at dinner just to enjoy it more than once, but were charged $X.00 PLUS... $12.00!! To me, that's kind of ballsy. I am sure the markup at the wine tasting was a good amount, so getting tagged for an additional $12.00 just doesn't seem right. Maybe I should have expected this, but it still annoyed me. I think making the prices of the wine in the dining area equal to what they are in the wine tasting would go a long way to making their patrons that much more happy. read more
