We bought a house and were under significant time restraints to remodel the kitchen before we moved into our new house. We wanted to get as much done as possible before moving in so we did not have to live with all the dust that goes into a kitchen remodel. We met with a few contractors including Ferney and received bids from all of them and nothing came close to the bid we received from Ferney. Also, the other contractors did not give us a clear price and told us that things could cost more as we got into the construction. With Ferney, we received a clear bid for the complete project and a timeline that he stood by as well. He managed to finish the kitchen on the day we were moving in which was unbelievable considering he did it in four weeks start to finish and stayed late on many nights throughout the project to make sure it was done on time. We also had to redo the flooring and paint throughout the entire house. I received many bids and many of the contractors were flaky or could not starts when we needed them to. Seeing that Ferney was doing a great job on the kitchen, I asked him to do the floors and paint the house as well and him seeing my frustrations with other contractors, he decided to take on those projects as well. I cannot say enough good things about Ferney. He stood by his words, delivered on time, and was honest throughout this whole process. We met as two people doing business together and became great friends throughout the process. I have referred Ferney to many of my friends and family and I would not hesitate to hire him for any other projects. Thank you Ferney for your hard work. read more

Fer was absolutely amazing! Our realtor recommended Kitchen Ferney and after he stopped by to measure our old kitchen we visited him in his showroom in the San Fernando Valley. He took a lot of time for us to show us all the different options for cabinets, materials, etc. He came up with a great 3D model for our kitchen and he worked all of our needs and wishes into the model. When the actual work began, he was always on time, super nice and forthcoming to our neighbors and very efficient. The kitchen was ready 3 days before the time he said he would need. The final kitchen even exceeded our expectation from the 3d model. Fer came back after a week to install an additional floating shelf we had come up with during construction. He didnt event charge us extra. The prices were all very fair and the quality of his work is excellent. We can highly recommend Fer and we will def. work with him again in the future. read more

Unfortunately my experience with Mr. Ferney was less than favorable. I contacted him a few weeks ago to have some work done to my kitchen. He came and gave us an estimate (March 19th) and that day we made an appointment for the following week. I will spare you all of the details, but to make a long story short, he sent us a proposal, but it was not itemized and my husband wanted to know the prices for everything, especially the Quartz, as we had shopped around and we thought his Quartz price was a bit high. After we asked for the itemized estimate the price of the Quartz went from 1,800.00$ to 1,200.00$ and the next day (March 26th) we received and Email telling us he would have to reschedule us because the job he was on had been extended. I talked to his son and reschedule for April 11th, and made him promise to keep me posted every week (on Friday) to make sure we were still on. I had told Mr. Ferney and his son that this was imperative that it be done by April 15th. "Oh, not a problem you are very important to me" I was told. I have not heard from either one of them since. This is not the way to treat your customers. Do your homework and shop around. Don't use the first person that comes by. Mr. Ferney OVERCHARGES and WILL MAKE PROMISES HE DOES NOT KEEP. read more

Ferney stole my money and stopped answering my calls! BEWARE OF THIS GUY! HE STOLE MY MONEY!! Ferney was doing a kitchen cabinet installation for me and my brother and he completely messed it up. The cabinet handles were installed crooked because he set his laser on an unleveled kitchen island. That was just the beginning of all his mistakes. Ferney also cracked a cabinet and made a wrong hole on the side of another cabinet because he screwed up installing the hinges. After I pointed out his obvious mistake, he stopped answering my calls and completely ignored me. Ferney was already paid for the job and never even finished the work! I thought this guy was my friend, but he did a horrible job and stole my money. Be very careful with this guy, Ferney is a thief with no shame!! read more

I don't normally write reviews on Yelp (I'm more of a lurker) but I felt like I just have to write a review for Ferney's work, because it was THAT good and he is such a nice guy. Me and my husband recently purchased an older fixer-upper as our first home, and the kitchen was horrendous. Like, really, really, ugly. It was the first thing that had to be remodeled in our opinion. We got several estimates but they were all so expensive! And the guys who would come over to give the estimate seemed sleazy. Then we got an estimate from Ferney. Not only was his estimate lower than the others we had received, but he was the NICEST guy. He was genuinely interested in giving us our dream kitchen at our dream price! And he did! Our kitchen turned out so amazing, I'm still in shock that we were able to obtain this kitchen at the price that we did....I have to pinch myself!
