We contracted Davis Kitchen and Tile to remodel two bathrooms in February of 2026. At the…read morebeginning they were very responsive, conducting professional meetings, presentations and agreements to perform the work we were seeking. We provided them with our desired timeline of completion by father's day weekend in June (4 months) to which they agreed was more than reasonsable. We put down a deposit for the work and that's when problems began. Despite several requests via email and voice mails requesting a projected start date, we were ingnored and our messages went without response. It wasn't until I requested to terminate the contract and get a refund that a representative from DKT contacted me, apologized for the problems, identifying unexpected personnel turnover as the reason for our problems but that work will be beginning on June 14 and will most likely be completed within three weeks. DKT did show up on the morning of June 14 and began demolition of one of the bathrooms, removing the shower, toilet and sink/vanity, a solid day's work. However, that's where work has stopped for the last 3 weeks. Now we have a semi-demolished bathroom, with material sitting on our walkway and are again experiencing unanswered messages regarding our projects. The chronic inconsistency, poor communication and lack of progress, as well as what seems to be habitual over-promising and under-delivering has made this entire process and experience one you should avoid.

We've hired several contractors over the years (some good, some not so good), but this was our biggest project by far, so it was important we find someone we could easily communicate with, and trust. Riley's exceeded our expectations in every singe way. Aaron and his crew are knowledgeable, punctual, professional, extremely organized, and they do business with the utmost integrity. The workmanship and attention to detail on every aspect of our remodel was outstanding and we could not be happier with the results. We went into this remodel with a vision for our home, but we needed guidance. Aaron patiently answered every question we had (there were so many), handled the entire permit process with our town, returned calls, offered design and materials suggestions, and really helped bring our vision to life. Aaron's level of customer service is second to none. Aaron and his team gave insightful advice that comes from years of experience, and they did a great job of really listening to what we wanted. They guided us through every step of the process, were exceedingly patient as we changed and added elements throughout the remodel, and pointed things out to us that would be worth reconsidering. We quickly learned we could trust their judgement, and we're so glad we did. Seeing our house come to life has been such an exciting time for us. From start to finish, this has been an enjoyable project thanks to Aaron Riley and Riley's Family Homes.
