He could not find it so we had to replace the entire line. Second time he came out to find a leak in my pool plumbing. He determined what line, but couldn't figure out where in the line the leak was. This last time, we called because we currently have a huge leak in our pool. He determined it was at the bottom where the main drain is, which is the logical location as it leaks when the pump isn't even running. But he couldn't determine if it was leaking AROUND the pipe or if the pipe was broken and it was leaking OUT OF the pipe. He refused to go in to see which was the case because the water was "too cold". (It is July) My pool is still leaking and I'm out $323.

These pads sometimes leak underneath and recently when mopping I have noticed some leakage in the toilet area. Mopping with bleach was no longer cutting it and I started to realize that under the toilet was the problem. I needed to have a plumber come and take the toilet off so I could clean well underneath, put it back in place and obviously find a better solution for my dog going forward because this is just bad. I reached out to Drain Bros. via Yelp on the strength of their excellent reviews and proximity to me in Bethel Park. They had a same day opening which was amazing. I almost immediately heard back from someone via text to confirm I still needed help, followed up by a call to make the appointment. Technician Seth called when he was about 15 minutes from my house to let me know his location. He was hard-working and knowledgeable, had no qualms about the nature of the problem I was so horrified about, and when the toilet was off set about cleaning the tile himself, although I insisted it should be my job as it's my dog. He said when he replaces a toilet he always cleans well underneath no matter what to start from a clean footprint, so it was absolutely no problem. He also said my timing was good because the wax seal under my toilet had been giving out and needed to be replaced. He did very good work with attention to detail, pride in the job and respect, putting on shoe covers whenever he needed to come in or out of the house. Earlier during the initial phone call, I asked for an estimate for this job, was quoted $250 and that was exactly what I was charged. I found these guys to be very efficient, honest and upfront. I will definitely be calling them for any future plumbing needs and really appreciated the quick help today.

I had a plumbing issue in one of my bathrooms. Several days…read morelater (on a Saturday, of course), I realized there was a lot of water in the basement (below the bathroom) and I could still hear dripping. Everything in the basement is water logged, and hard for me to move since I have a bad back. Not much I could do until Davis called Monday. We chatted for a few moments, and his first available appointment was for next week. This morning he called and said he had a cancellation and could come check out my issue(s). He was very close by and arrived within a few minutes. He saw all the issues and said "good news - bad news". He told me what I was seeing hanging from the ceiling where the tiles had given way not a plumbing line but an HVAC line. Great. But he then gave me several suggestions on what I could do myself to mitigate some of the issues resulting from the main problem. David could have told me all sorts of things, but he was very honest, and forthright with me. I sincerely appreciate this since I am "older" and have no clue about house plumbing. David is polite, funny, personable (I made a few comments about my situation very sarcastically, he came right back with a response - very quick witted!), honest and helpful! I was expecting to have to come up with a king's ransom (what do I know - I was preparing for the worst ...) and he elevated my concerns (fears). David is such a wonderful man, I (almost) wish I did have plumbing issues so I could hire him! I know that is something does come up in the future, I am definitely giving him a call! Holten came out and I explained what was going on with the basement bathroom. We walked around talking about different way to figure out what was causing the smell and he "I'm going to just walk around and check things out" within 1 minute he yelled out "found it". Under the sink in the bathroom and vent check valve was missing. The contractor plumber never installed it when the house was built 2 years ago. He said he could fix it right now and gave a very reasonable price. I said go ahead and within 30 minutes he had fixed a problem I had been dealing with for the last two years. He was very knowledgeable and even found a pipe that was not glued when he was installing the valve and fixed that as well I would highly recommend this business for their expertise and value for what they do. I added them in my phone as the first business to call for my plumbing needs.
