My family and I were very disappointed with our experience when trying to schedule a school tour…read more As Deaf parents, we simply asked The First Academy to provide an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter so we could fully understand the information being shared during the tour. Despite multiple emails and opportunities to reconsider, the school declined to provide an interpreter. Instead, we were told to rely on written communication, tablets, and "extra time," which are not effective or equitable substitutes for real-time ASL access. This does not provide meaningful communication for Deaf adults, especially during an important process like evaluating a potential school for our children. We were also told we could "bring our own interpreter," which shifts the burden of accessibility onto families rather than meeting basic inclusion standards. We left the interaction feeling that the school was not prepared to support the communication needs of Deaf parents. Accessibility should not be optional, and it should not depend on families paying out-of-pocket to participate. I hope the school takes this feedback seriously and re-evaluates its approach to serving Deaf and hard-of-hearing families in the future.

Although I have never attended this school personally, my little sister is and I can honestly say…read morethat this school is pretty amazing. The school is very inclusive and is more than willing to go above and beyond for their students. They work very hard to find teachers that will fit the children's needs and ensure that the kids come to school and love every minute of it. From the academic teachers to the specials teachers, they are all awesome! I absolutely adore the staff and their positivity at all times. I also enjoy that they allow all the grade levels (kindergarten to 12th grade) to interact with each other. The kids here at every single grade level are so beyond polite! And if a problem ever arises, the staff and school does a wonderful job at communicating them in a timely manner. Aside from academics, they have so many opportunities to learn robotics, architecture, drama, music, sports, dance, art, music, and even cooking! They have wonderful after school activities for students to explore their interest. My sister is very cultured and well rounded thanks to WPS. I am so proud and honored to be apart of the WPS family. The tuition is not cheap I have to admit but the way they shape your child's mind and character is just amazing! I can't wait to have a kid of my own so I can allow them to go to school here.

My kids were both born in Florida, and our family has moved around quite a bit, so we've seen different school environments. That said, Windermere Prep has been much more than just a school for our family it has truly been an experience. The campus is beautiful. The classrooms and teachers are nurturing, and the school offers strong academic programs, including the IB curriculum. My children have also had opportunities to participate in international trips and other experiences that helped them grow beyond the classroom. At the same time, like any school, students still need to take responsibility for their own studying and effort. I've found several administrators and teachers including Mr. Villatico, Dr Fouche, Mr Muenker, Ms. Gemma very supportive and easy to work with. When concerns are raised, the school does respond and work toward solutions. We are proud to be Lakers.

She is engaged in her learning, challenged academically, and supported in ways that go beyond the classroom. I appreciate that the school focuses not only on academics, but also on students' emotional growth and character development. The structure and expectations have helped my daughter become more confident and responsible. She also loves wearing a uniform--it's one less thing to worry about each morning and helps create a sense of pride and belonging. Overall, Renaissance has been a positive and nurturing environment where my child feels supported, motivated, and excited to learn. I'm grateful to be part of a school community that invests in both the academic and personal development of its students.

Great school with a great staff of leaders and educators. We originally moved to Saint Cloud so our…read moredaughter could attend Saint Cloud Prep Academy. That school is fairly new and after a few short months we realized it was not where it needed to be. Our daughter was spending her days coloring instead of being challenged academically. She is 6 yrs old but attended Lady bird academy since she was 2. Reading and writing by 3. Our neighbors told us about the public school we were zoned for and we were initially reluctant but knew we had to make a change for her sake. We couldn't be more pleased with this school and her educators. She had an amazing school year last year and is all set for the start of this years. She is challenged and enjoys going to school again.
