This school has the most unorganized dismissal ever. It takes 2 hours to pick up your child. Terrible organization

Five stars for this five star school! This past week was the first week of classes for kids in Orange County, FL, and I have to say that so far I am impressed with my daughter's new school. It is a A grade, five star school (there's posters EVERYWHERE telling you so) and the teachers and staff are all really great so far. The Good: Caring Teachers and Staff: Even before we registered, the staff here went above and beyond to make my daughter's transfer here a smooth transition. There were a few speedbumps, including a rather unique school records issue, but we got it all worked out and they were able to get my daughter registered and in a classroom just in time. My daughter's teacher is a very nice lady who is a very strong communicator, and caters to my daughter's specific needs. She even lets her read to the class! Easy to navigate: One of my biggest issues with my daughter's old school was that the hallways were like a labyrinth and the place was pretty hard to get around. Hunter's Creek elementary is ridiculously easy to get around, and pluss it's all outside. Yay for sunshine! The Bad: N/a Of course the school year just started, and it takes more than a week to fully appreciate a new school.
