I live like five minutes down the street, so it's very convenient for me, but not convenient when I have to go back a second time every single time lately in order for the stylist to get the look right. I work in the medical field, so obviously, I know nothing about hair! They ended up charging me $510 the past four weeks to get my 14 year old daughter's hair done correctly when they should've charged me 250 or $300 to get it right the first time! She sat in that chair for three something hours and then had to come back and sit in the chair for another three something hours, which was a total and complete pain in the ass for both her and I! I also had a horrible experience with that place recently... My stylist is the sweetest person ever, but she doesn't have a clue what she's doing! My hair looks like fucking shit, I had to bust my way through two managers only to be told to leave because "I was never going to be happy". . My hair looks like shit right now, so now I need to go somewhere else and pay another $3-$500 to get it fixed. I will never be taking my business to Roway Hair ever again! One time when I left that place about three years ago, I left there looking like Tony the Tiger!! Literally had strips of white hair, strips of black hair and orange hair! The stylist completely fucked my hair up, so the manager ended up having to correct it for free a week or two later. Done with this place! Does the pictures look like I just paid $180 (because I didn't get a haircut or even make her dry my hair all the way for me??)?

She spent a lot of time during the consultation and really listened to what I wanted. I'd had very long hair for over 10 years, and she suggested going to a medium length. It was a big change, but I felt like I could trust her, and I'm so happy I did. She also recommended partial highlights instead of a full balayage, and I'm so glad she did. It gave me the look I wanted, took less time, and turned out beautiful. (Before & after photos attached!) The salon itself is modern, upscale, and in a great spot at Kierland Commons. DO NOT GO HERE. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID…read more I don't normally leave reviews but I felt like I had to for this one. I came in to get highlights in my hair, expecting one of the professionals to help me out. After I get there, some random dude comes out who barely speaks English. Barely asks me questions about what I want, and barely talks about what he is going to do starts to do the cap thing on my head. He was extremely rough using the tool, stabbing my head very hard. After he finishes he finishes dying my hair, charges me $300 then when I ask how to maintain it he responds "I trust you will make the right decisions"... like no I know nothing about this, this was my first time. Then a couple hours later, when it drys, I look at it and it looks TERRIBLE. The sides of my head looked like I had cheetah print and the top was VERY orange. After I realize. I go back in a couple days later. After having to take time off of work because of how bad it looked and how anxious it made me. They agreed that it looked terrible and they told me that they would fix it free of charge.... They schedule me for the next day and I come in, then as they start they say "btw we are going to charge you $150 for this". They said this AFTER they started and told me they'd fix it for free. Then I asked why it wasn't free anymore and they ignored the question and walked away. When I went to the register they gave me a product to buy and told me I had to pay and when I asked why it wasn't free anymore again, they said because a different person fixed it. Which made no sense because they scheduled me with her and said it would be free to fix. Again, normally I don't leave reviews. Look at my profile for proof. This was such an incredibly terrible experience, save your money and your mental health and go somewhere else.

Andi is one of those rare stylists who you can genuinely trust with your hair. She listens to what I want, understands what I'm trying to achieve (even when I'm probably not explaining it particularly well ), and then uses her talent and experience to make it happen. She's also honest with me about what will and won't work, which I appreciate so much. Her color work is AMAZING. She has done beautiful color for me and has also rescued my hair when it needed color correction -- no judgment, just "we can fix this!" And she absolutely did. And now...THE EXTENSIONS. I am completely obsessed. They are gorgeous, they blend beautifully with my own hair, and I honestly cannot stop looking at them. I walked out of the salon feeling like a whole new person. But as talented as Andi is -- and she is incredibly talented -- she's also just a wonderful human. Sitting in her chair is always comfortable and fun, and I know she genuinely cares about how I feel when I leave. Finding a stylist you completely trust is a big deal, and I have absolutely found that in Andi.
