Unlike most liquidators we go to, which are just meh, and we would stop into only if we were in the area and bored, this is a destination place if you are a thrifty sort.

First off…read more, when I immediately start to giggle upon entering a store, my people already know that things are about to get SERIOUS! I thoroughly enjoyed being able to actually walk through the isles ( 1 or 2 cartwheels) the isles were not so over stocked with items on the floor, or here or over there. I was able to actually see every item being displayed. I have been looking for crystals and rocks for so long and just about forgot about what I had been wanting , but then coming here I soon understood why nobody else has anything! They have so many crystals and so many different kinds of rocks and crystals and rocks! Prices are outstanding too! Not much of a "kids section" , but who cares they have entire other stores. Home decor is plenty and if you have any questions comments or concerns, worry not, their staff is always watching and ready for you every single step and turn you make! I look forward to emptying my bank account here every chance I get! :) GO VISIT YOURSELF!

For such a small space, there were groups of 3-4 people entering at a time. I came here for one specific item but decided to browse the store. I arrived here earlier in the evening so I guess that's prime time here. I have only been to one other Five Below and it was only a handful of times. This store I feel is more geared towards children and adolescents but there are some great finds for adults. The candy selection is great for any age. I like how you can buy pieces of individual candies as opposed to a whole bag. There are books, cookbooks, decorations, electronics, and clothing for adults. In fact, I saw they sold a book I recommended to hundreds of clients to integrate better communication in their relationships! I finally got annoyed with the chaos and noise that I don't think I made it through the entire store. I luckily found my item and picked up some candy pieces. I decided on self checkout since there were so many available. That process was very complicated as well. There was a staff member assisting customers with self checkout, which kind of defeats the purpose but he was busy for sure. The prices are very reasonable and it can be easy to spend a lot in here!

It used to be horrible shopping here. The store was so small and the line (sometimes 2) was always…read moreso unbelievably long. I just could not go back any longer. A few years ago they wisely decided to expand the location to double it's size. Wow! What a difference it made and they began to carry a larger variety of items. Sometimes though things that seems better aren't necessarily so. I began to learn this over time as I would see more and more items out of place. It has become so bad that merchandise is just thrown everywhere. I'm not sure if they need more staff or they just don't have time to pick it all up and put it where it belongs. Expanding the store though didn't solve the long line problem. Now there's just more room for long lines. :)

There CAN be some deals. Sometimes. Many times there are no deals. Housewares, Linens, Luggage, Tableware are all overpriced and sitting at the top of that range that should be charged for these items. You can get many comparable and exact same items elsewhere for much cheaper. Shoes? Very well priced especially for their sale racks. Handbags? Some cute some very well priced and some in the stratosphere. Dillards actually caries real Luis Vuitton handbags and luggage but.... I am not an LV consumer. Clothes... great when there are sales. You have to watch for deals, coupons and price slashing before during and after holidays. I was just recently very successful with the purchase of a makeup bag that is perfect for my trip coming up. Normally I wouldn't pay $48.00 actually $52.00 for a makeup bag but I believe I will keep this one for quite some time. The lady that helped me in the cosmetics section kept me in her "sights" while I was shopping around the entire store... she didn't want to miss getting credit for my purchase. I liked her though... we had a laugh or two.

The 27th Ave. store has changed a lot The clothes are just thrown in huge boxes all mixed together…read more The store used to have great thrifting items. Now there's too much commercial products. Mostly all big furniture. Employees are great despite the disappointing store.
