Nice place. A large selection of stuff. Prices reasonable. Only bad part, there is stuff everywhere. Nothing seems to be organized.

As I'm sipping my delicious wine, I find that my mind is drawn to one important thought: This Ollie's Bargain Outlet that I visited in Clarksville two months ago would have been greatly improved if they sold wine. Ollie's doesn't sell wine (or any alcohol, for that matter). Too bad! But if you're in the market for discounted boxes of Hungry Jack mashed potatoes, bird feeders, comforter sets, off-brand slider storage bags, water guns and neoprene gloves, Ollie's is your store. There's a lot of stuff everywhere, and honestly, it's a little overwhelming. Ollie's takes a page from the Aldi playbook: There are just ripped open boxes of items on the shelves. To heck with aesthetics -- Ollie's is too busy saving you money to fiddle around with arranging items on a shelf nicely. I stopped in to get some lotion, and wouldn't you know, I could only find one bottle of lotion in the whole store. It wasn't a brand that I would have normally bought, but you can't be picky at Ollie's. You get what you get or you can get the eff out. Visiting Ollie's is like participating in a treasure hunt. You don't know what you'll find, or if you'll find anything at all. But it's worth a shot to stop in and try.

After ooohing and aaahing over all the spring and summer lights and the great patio furniture we made our way to the wall decor. I believe we were there for what felt like an eternity. I still didn't have time to make it down every isle. There were paintings and candles and trinkets for days. You can buy linens and coffee mugs, a new broom or whatever you might need and the prices here are reasonable. There were a few isles that I'd noticed were clearance. I love a good sale. Then again who doesn't. This is a must browse even if you don't buy. There is so much to see.

As I browsed the store & started picking up things to buy, I was sure that I wasn't going to get out of there for less than $50. My final bill was only $14! Some things are dirt cheap. Other things are cheap, but way too expensive for what they are. Other things are just expensive. My biggest advice for this store is to only go here when you're needing something for your home. If you go aimlessly looking, then you might come out with more than a few things that you didn't need at all. This store did seem more organized than at home. It's also much smaller. I still spent nearly 2 hours in the store looking at things, but that beats 3-5 hours in a larger comparable store. I'll most likely be back, but it'll be when I'm looking for something specific.

Available items, style and pricing are going to vary by the individual vendor, with some promoting discounts. Shopping is basically on your own and if you need assistance you need to visit the entrance where the cashiers are checking customers out. We didn't come close to visiting the bulk of the booths. However, I'm sure we'll come back when we have a slow day and 1-2 hours to browse. If you're a fan of peddler malls and flea markets, this is a shop to put on your list. Shares space in a shopping center, offering lots of parking. Located on a popular street in Clarksville, you'll also be near several restaurants and other shopping options.

It's like a huge Goodwill or an indoor yard sale with the occasional genuine antique hidden here or there. That doesn't mean this place isn't worth a visit. It is! Especially if you're a junk junkie like I am. It's just that this store is not very well curated, so you'll see things that probably should be thrown away next to one-of-kind treasures. I spent the better part of an hour just walking down the aisles and looking at all of the booths filled with miscellany. Vendors' Village is huge and looks like it used to be a grocery store. The lighting is harsh and bleak, like it is in a grocery store, which could explain why I felt a little unsettled while walking around. I kept thinking I saw things out of the corner of my eye, or that people were behind me. I didn't and they weren't! But this place did give me the creeps a bit.
