I had a wonderful dining experience at Kirin Noodle House. The environment is clean and welcoming, and the service is top-notch--staff are incredibly friendly. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, and the portions are very generous. I highly recommend their Braised Beef Brisket Noodles;

Service is friendly! Chinese food is yum. We got the orange chicken, shrimp noodle, wonton in chicken soup, and cucumber. Good portion. Environment is clean.

Hubby and I have lunched here a couple of times. I like to get the server's recommendation when I'm undecided. She suggested the Braised Beef Brisket Noodle Soup over the Braised Beef Noodle Soup. It was good with lots of big chunks of meat. She approved of the Pork and Cabbage Potstickers which came 10 to an order. We enjoyed Hubby's Dan Dan Noodles. The next time, we shared Beef Chow Fun, House Special Dumplings, and Dan Dan Noodles again. I was happy that the dumplings were not too spicy. The Beef Chow Fun was not "dry style", but still tasty. Clean, spare decor, pleasant staff, and enough parking in the shopping center.

Food was good, however, I feel that I've been to a restaurant with similar food that tasted better in Irvine. You can order with the QR code at your table or with the staff. It's a mostly clean and good looking restaurant, but it's crowded in areas with their storage. For example, the corridor walking to the restroom was cluttered. There are 2 full restrooms with doors - one for men and one for women. Before I (a woman) went in, a man came out of the restroom. Not sure if it's a regular occurrence and he works there, or an emergency, or what... good thing it's a full room with a door so I don't think any harm was done.

Pork xiao long bao

This was open relatively late so decided to come try it out. Ordered beef and celery dumplings (12 pieces) as well as pork xiao long bao (8). Both were juicy but wasn't able to distinguish them as the filling tasted similar for both. Service was quick as it was just one other group besides me. There is also a kiosk if you prefer to order and pay right away. I would have done that but one of the staff members showed me to a table to order. Ambiance was casual and calm as they played lullaby music and Chinese ballad / drama type of music. It did take some time to get the check as it was just one person taking orders, serving, and taking payments. I think I'll try their other items next time. It's a good option for a semi late dinner if you're craving Asian cuisine !

We randomly went into this place and I can't believe how incredible it was wonderful service. The food was fantastic. I feel like it's a little hidden. I would've never randomly seen this place or at least noticed it but believe me this is a place that you'll wanna try.

For the location to have this type of food it isn't bad at all. Plenty of parking and service was friendly and quick. Good selections to choose from. The wontons and braised pork belly were not bad at all, good chunks of meat and tasted really good. The beef roll I would have liked more meat wrapped inside.

We stopped by at around 8:30 PM looking for a late dinner on the way home. We were a little disappointed because the food looked really good online. All the other food we got was dry and not flavorful. The beef rolls were basically wrapped in a tortilla with dry beef and limited veggies. The pork spare ribs bowl and entree were both dry and lacked taste. Also the bowl said there were 2 halved eggs, but it came with just one which was a little sad. The best thing we tried was the shrimp dumpling, because it wasn't dry. On a positive note, the staff and the service were nice. Also, there was plenty of seating and the interiors were really nice! Overall, for the price point, I don't think the food matched due to the lack of flavor.

Braised Pork Belly With Noodle

We tried a variety of dishes, the noodle soup broth was a little disappointing and lacked flavor, but the meat portions were generous. I also wished the pan fire pork baos were more crispy on the bottom, and I was also expecting more soup to be inside. The highlight of the meal was the spicy tofu with beef belly, the portions were huge and the flavor of the soup was even better than the other noodle soups we tried. If I were to go back, I would definitely order from the entree menu instead of the noodles, rice, or dumplings menu. Our waiter was attentive and constantly refilled our water, and the spot was filled with modern decor and lighting.

Pork And Cabbage Dumplings

Came here when the restaurant just opened. Ordered and they still needed to prep, so it took them additional time for the food to come out. Their XLB all stuck together so when you grab them, they automatically rip and all the soup oozes out. Their wonton in chili sauce is something you could definitely skip. It was flavorless even while being drenched in the sauce. The best thing I ate was probably the steamed pork and cabbage dumplings. The skin was nice and chewy and filling was flavorful as well.

Kani Y.

First time trying this place. The food wasn't too bad, but I felt like the dumplings needed more flavor. The chow fun was good and orange chicken was also not bad. The soup dumplings did stick together so the soup all oozed out.

When we got there, there was a little bit of a wait, about 10 minutes. The menu was digital and we were able to order from the table from our phone. The service was good, the restaurant was clean and had quite a few tables there. The bathroom was located upstairs, the key was by the register at the front. The scallion pancake was good but I've had better. The dan dan noodles were really tasty, it was like a mix of spicy noodles with peanut noodles and I'm definitely down for that. The XLB was juicy and oh so delicious. The spicy wontons were fresh tasting. The beef rice cake was great but I wish it had a little kick to it. I was a little surprised that it had an assortment of proteins in it.

It reminded us of being back in China with how convenient everything was. The prices were also more affordable compared to places like Din Tai Fung. Overall, a solid spot with good food & easy ordering. 100% would come back again.

We got five dumpling dishes and the sesame balls The serving sizes were good for the price, and all the regular dumplings we had were delicious and juicy. The pork and chive dumplings were my personal favorite, but a one or two of them were very heavy on the chives. I loved it. My partner really enjoyed the beef and onion dumplings The juicy pork dumplings were amazing! I saved them till the end. Usually, steamed buns are my favorite dish at dumpling places, but the ones here weren't very fluffy. They were more starchy. The filling was very similar to the filling in the pork dumplings.

One person handles everything, it can be very frustrating to wait. The vibe is bright, modern, and clean restaurant. We went family style, so each of us share all the dishes. We have flavored beef noodle soup - better than average. It's flavorful and good noodles. Pan fried pork bun, both bun and meat inside tastes good. Fried beef noodles, good flavors and noodles. Combo fried rice - pretty good. Fish fillet with pickled cabbage & chili - solid standard soup. Spicy beef short rib - tasty. The highlights are specialty local Chinese dishes like dry fried lotus roots! Sichuan chicken with chili oil ; both are super yummy!! This is a Chinese restaurant, and not a fast food. So the check can add up quickly. Good for ordering regional authentic Chinese dishes.

The price has gone up since I last posted a picture of the menu but I think that it is still SUCH a steal for the amount of food and quality. I ordered the beef short rib lunch special and was amazed by how much food arrived! The preview pic on the menu did not do the actual meal size justice. I was surprised by the amount of short rib pieces included as well as the variety of side dishes within the bento (fried shrimp, dumpling, some sort of fried roll, 2 pieces of another roll, 2 pieces fried chicken and soup). This is still separate from the regular banchan they provide! I really love their kimchi and potato salad. There are plenty of seats in the restaurant and parking spots in the plaza. There were a lot of solo diners at the time of my visit. The workers are friendly and quick with your order and refills. Can't wait to go back!

There aren't a lot of restaurant that offer bun bo hue, so I thought I'd also give that a try. I ordered the pho special, but swapped the pho broth for BBH because I saw another review on here mention they did that - and I am so happy I did! It was really tasty and flavorful with the perfect hint of spicy! I would say I'm pretty picky with food and I would bring my Vietnamese parents here. 5/5 on their taro smoothie. I like that it tastes like fresh taro. I don't really like when it tastes too artificial or too sweet, like the taro milk teas from boba shops. It's also extremely light. Super refreshing on hot days. It tasted a little unbalanced, not enough cream and too much spices (tumeric + cumin + coriander). Slightly salty and watery. I didn't like the chicken either . Service is good when you walk in to be seated and when ordering, but they don't always check in if you need water. You just flag them down. Not a big deal. I'm more interested in how the food tastes.
