I called this dentists and the prices was outrageous, so I went with a chain that does these things. About a week later a filling had come out and I called her office to get it refilled. I had to wait two weeks with a my tooth exposed so I ate only soft things. I finally got into the office and the chair. I could hear her giving the man in the next room this advice - "you will need a root canal and a crown on that tooth". When she came over to me she informed me (without even looking in my mouth) that she could not help me. When I asked why she told me it was because I chose to go with a chain instead of one of the names she gave to me for the implant. I begged her to please just fill the tooth, she huffed and took a short look at it - then informed me that I needed a root canal and a crown. I told her I had no pain, just this hole where the filling came out. Still she would do nothing. I left without any help at all. Thankfully, my exhusband's dentist will see me next week and will refill the tooth. Meanwhile, I have called my insurance provider to inform them of two visits that amounted to nothing! It is my opinion that this dentist is looking to do the most expensive of treatments and it is my opinion that something is going on with these other dentists she listed for the implant - maybe she gets a kickback for the referral? Who knows but it all seems strange. Upon telling my story to the neighbors I was informed they too had similar experiences and that they even had to fight with insurance over charges for things that were never done. I highly recommend you do in-depth research on this dentist before going to her. You may be paying for nothing.

I've had nothing but great experiences there from getting my teeth cleaned to even getting a cavity or two filled. The Hygienist that I had (Melissa) there is always friendly, professional, thorough and very communicative. She was gentle and made me feel comfortable. If I have a dental question or concern there then Dr. Johnson or one of his hygienist were always great at answering it and making sure I understood it. His staff is all around wonderful and pleasant to be around. Setting up an appointment there is easy and they're great at sending reminders, whether it's a simple phone call or text message. I highly recommend anyone searching or even switching to a new dentistry to use Dr. Johnson's O'Fallon Family Dentistry!

Upon arrival, I was greeted at the front desk and filled out standard paperwork. I went into the office space and had a lengthy conversation with Tori. She told me I would not be able to receive a consultation with the dentist until I filled out paperwork to see if I would qualify for financing. I told her that I wanted to have an evaluation of my teeth and a treatment plan first as stated in the advertisement and when scheduling the appointment. Tori said that is not an option because they have to see what I can afford. I declined to do the financing paperwork up front so I was escorted out of the building. The worst part was the dentist, Dr. Boscia, would not even come to the room to greet me, acknowledge me or discuss me being a potential client. This was so unprofessional. It's days later and I am still in shock. I have never had a more humiliating and degrading experience in my life.

She is professional and compassionate at the same time. Hubby said his procedure was completely painless. Dr. Smith formulates a plan during your visit while looking at all your images on computer. She gives you several options (when possible) for the best outcome. She actually listens to your concerns and works with you.
