In many ways it is how you would think a stereotypical private school would be. It is a converted convent about 200 years old (ish). It is very small. There are windy staircases and a refectory. Everyone has to wear a blazer. The main benefit of sending a child here is that the classes are so small that it would be impossible for them to go unnoticed in almost any discipline. For me though, even as a 12yr old, it was too small and too insular. Which is probably why I live in London now.

However, as of September, the college will no longer offer A level qualifications. The tutors are generally good, and pupils are able to learn in a laid back, relaxed environment.
