The flavor profile of the yakisoba is not good. There is even a smell to the food that is off-putting. The roll, it wasn't crunchy. It mainly had one overwhelming flavor that took away from all of the other flavors in the roll. Their online presence is very frustrating when trying to find an accurate menu. In house they have a QR code that you can take with you. That is nice. Unfortunately I am throwing out $40 of food/tip as it is not edible imho. I love sushi but I'm not inclined to return.

We ordered the Tonkotsu Miso Ramen, Spicy Negi Ramen (level 4 hot), an order of Gyoza, and an appetizer order of Karaage Chicken. Both of our Ramen bowls were absolutely delicious!! I'm used to eating very authentic Ramen when I lived in San Diego so this was a first for being in this area. It was a great portion size, beautiful presentation and everything tasted so good. I think the egg could've been cooked a little bit less so it would be not so well done so to speak, but it was delicious still. Also, the chicken appetizer was a good, but not as flavorful as some Karaage Chicken I have had. I probably wouldn't order that one again even though it was good, just lacked flavor and was a bit grisly. The service was outstanding. They are very kind and very attentive. The place is very clean. The ramen tasted great but not impressive or memorable enough for me to drive all the way back to Federal Way. I dined in solo and actually didn't finish the ramen or even remember exactly what I ordered. I'm guessing it's the spicy negi. The broth was spicy and enjoyable but definitely didn't taste any different compared to other ramen places I've been to. I tend to eat slow to savor my food, but I felt like the staff was overattentive and frequently stopped by my table to ask if everything was okay. Gave me the vibe that they needed to keep themselves busy or I was taking up a table. Might be great for other customers but it affected my experience with dining in; I usually finish my meals at restaurants but I felt rushed so I just ended up bringing the ramen home for my son, after the second or third time of them asking me if I wanted a takeout box. I'm still giving 4 stars just because the ramen tasted better than mediocre, less than spectacular. I just have high expectations for ramen and prefer more broth/topping variety (I was raised in Cali with options i dearly miss). Plus, I do like that they added a full egg for the ramen (instead of half an egg, like other restaurants I've been to) and the chasu portions were fair. I haven't tried any other ramen places in Federal Way (if there are any), but I guess if this is one of the better options (according to Yelp), it might be worth a shot to try out?

We went with two of the seared fish rolls (one was with salmon and the other was tuna - I forgot the name but it was seared fish over a California roll) and the Valentine roll. The rolls with the seared fish were good. I was a little disappointed in the Valentine roll as the tuna had that frozen fish taste/texture that I don't particularly like. The rolls did not have a lot of rice though which I prefer. Service was great. The lady at the cashier was very kind and they bring out your food to your table and bus it after. My boyfriend mentioned that he noticed that the rolls have gotten smaller from when he remembered from a few years ago, so now the rolls are the size of your average roll at any other sushi spot. They apparently used to be ginormous. Overall not a bad place to go.

Loved the sweet garlicky moist chicken bites, but the Tso's was different than the norm, it too was batter fried (?) and no spicy kick or peanuts as expected. No real veggies either, just some diced carrots/peas in the middle of chicken. It was good but just sweet, too similar to the honey chicken without the garlic. Hubby had teriyaki beef and chicken katsu. Beef tender shreds, good but nothing memorable, but the katsu was the star, generous portion of juicy chicken strips coated in a slight sweet crisp crust.
