I had a very good experience with my foot scan and being fitted for new runners thanks to Amar, she was very friendly and knowledgeable.

I had a shoe in mind that I wanted to try before I bought. I had a giftcard to use which can only be used in-store vs online so thats why I had to go to another store to find my shoe. I came in and asked if i could try on the shoe even without an appoitnment and the staff was very accommodating to offer help. Greeted right when I stepped in. Sahil was kind enough to check their store stock as well as their distribution warehouse that is attached. I had an appointment at another location a week ago so I had an idea of the footwear I was looking for. Sahil followed up after bringing me the shoe and helping other people in the store. He was able to provide good insight on the shoe I was trying. Generally impressed with my experience at kintec because the you can tell the staff have either worn many of the shoes themselves or know what they are talking about. Despite trying on a pair of shoes that were on sale and one that was not, I didn't feel pressured to go for the more expensive one as some stores do. I had learned that they don't get commissions for sales so maybe that's why. The store was spacious, clean abd organized. This particular store was a bit in a sketchy area that mostly has car dealership stores but it has its own parking lot which is convenient as it was on King George Boulevard which is a main road thst could get busy. That being said , I was able to find 2 hr street parking too ( I didn't expect a parking lot). Sahil said this store had the warehouse and the lab attached and some of the other stores don't I'd be coming back here for any future shoes for sure! I would consider this store first because of the stock they have. They had stock of a shoe I wanted to try in the other store but didn't have the size. Really appreciate my experience with Kintec. I purchased many units of a specific pair of socks that I love from their online store. They had the best prices and variety that I could find on the internet - so I gave their store a shot! I'm very glad I did. Initially, there was a setback on the purchase: my package was delivered to my home but left in front of my door against instructions (a mistake by the delivery company, not Kintec). When it was clear that this had happened, I contacted Kintec and their customer service representative was amazing (shout out to Sarah!!!). She helped me get everything re-ordered and worked with me when one item was out of inventory there. The net result: I still got my order in time and ended up with an order I, if anything, preferred to my initial one. I've been here twice now to get custom orthotics. After my first time in late 2007 they didn't keep my records on file so when I returned in early 2014 I had to have another scan of my feet (instead of the old sand foot mold). After that I looked at a pair of shoes and the sales lady didn't know anything about them. Could really tell me if they where orthotic shoes or not. When I was waiting to pay, I could see in the managers office this huge whiteboard chart with the title "Getting the Customer to Yes", with all these diagrams of up selling. It hit me then that Kintec Footlabs is more about sales than it is about helping people get over painful foot conditions. read more

Disclaimer about my self: I am in no way in shape, or athletic. I do however enjoy cardio classes and going to the gym. For years I've struggled to find the perfect shoe, as I tend to get horrible shin and inner arch pain when I'm running or doing a class. In the past I would buy my runners from sports check or Athletes World but would come away deterred as I found they didn't quite understand what I was asking. A friend recommend I check out Kintec Footlabs and since I was in the area on Thursday I thought I would check them a try. I really wish I could remember the girl's name who helped me b/c she was Amazing! I highly recommend visiting this store. They give you one on one attention and really listen to your needs. She told what things I should look for when buying running shoes and tips on how to avoid shin pain. I didn't feel pressured to buy or out of place. But it's amazing how the runners I've been wearing all along are not meant for my feet. What a difference the right pair can make. I didn't buy the shoes she recommend b/c 1) I didn't feel like walking around with the shoes after 2) I wanted to check the price at other retail stores. - Having looked online the price for the runners she recommend ( and I loved) are the same price every where. Today I took my sore feet into kinetic in Surrey. I had a wonderful girl named Himani helping me. I had been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and she was very familiar and knowledgeable about this condition. She explained the condition to me and fitted me with some arch supports. She was great to deal with and made me feel very comfortable. I left with some new arch supports as well as a pair of new supportive sandals to wear in the house and for our upcoming holiday. Don't bother to join their running clinic. They don't wait for you if you fall behind. Especially on a route you're not familiar with! They have no decency to make sure the last runner is with someone. Runner's Den has a much better clinic. Friendly, supportive and caring. read more

I had my feet measured for orthotics. They videotaped my walk on a treadmill, did molds, everything. They were fantastic! I learned so much about my feet and the way I walk. The sales person supplied many different shoes for me to try on and explained the differences. This place is great! read more

I walked in to your Surrey store for the first time today to find a solution for my bunion which is giving me so much pain. I ended up getting a pair of toe spacers in the meantime to help ease the pain. I will definitely be back to get a pair of orthotics at your location at the recommendation of Shawn. I was impressed with his willingness to serve clients that he made sure that the toe spacers were the right fit for me. He was very patient and always cheerful. Thanks Shawn.
