They admitted that they did not have enough experience to diagnose the issue, and needed to have their boss come out to take a look and would charge us, not only for their time and not being able to diagnose the problem, but an additional cost to have the boss come out for a look and diagnosis. We chose to end things there and go with another company. However, even after speaking with the boss and him admitted no services were provided by not being able to even diagnose the problem, we were still charged over $250 for nothing. We are at square one and are going with another company who has guaranteed a diagnosis or there will be no charge. The techs who came out were extremely nice and hard working. I do not fault them for what has happened. I 100% fault the owner and the terrible business practices they have. If someone more experienced had to come after the first techs, but did not charge an additional fee for their own inexperience, I would have gladly paid. Save yourself a lot of time & money - I would highly suggest going elsewhere. PLEASE read other one star reviews because they are EXACTLY what we experienced.

I hired this company to install a fireplace, and from start to finish, it was a frustrating experience. Once I paid the down payment, the company's attitude completely shifted. Cindy, the lady that runs the office, was rude, dismissive, and frankly, condescending. Darin, the owner, "forgot" several commitments that were made during the quoting process, leaving us with an incomplete installation. I ended up having to either finish the work myself or hire other professionals to get the job done right -- including moving electrical, rebuilding the hearth base, and even hiring a roofer to fix the improperly installed chimney collar. This entire process left me feeling misled, overcharged, and really disappointed in the quality of both the service and the professionalism. If you decide to work with this company, make sure you get every single detail in writing and double-check everything. I would not hire them again. Would not recommend.

My mother had contacted a different HVAC company to come clear her dryer pipe for clogged lint and a bird's nest. It was a constant worry for me that her house was at risk for a dryer fire. When we called the other company in Sept 2025, they said they would be by in a few days to give a quote. They never showed up, never called back. So this week, at my insistence, she called Pointon H & AC. One day later they came to view the situation and give a quote. Instead, J.T. Pfaff saw that the problem was a bird's nest, removed the bird's nest, tested that the pipe was clean, and charged nothing. Even leaving a calendar for my mother, in the Christmas spirit. Long-winded version: I reached out to multiple plumbers about a quote to fix my outside faucet. One plumber responded that it would cost about $300.00 just to come out to my house. The other responded that they were really busy, provided me with phone numbers for two other plumbers who would be able to help me, AND provided me with some tips for how to locate my shutoff and how to address my issue (I am a relatively new owner of a manufactured/mobile home). When I received this response from them, I knew they were the ones for me because they literally tried to direct my business elsewhere because they were too busy to help me immediately. Shortly after receving their response I realized I had a very high iron level issue with my water and ended up scheduling a time for them to come out and test my water and look into installing a filter. The Office Manager LeeAnne was a pleasure to work with, very polite, very detailed, and she was excellent with follow-up. Glenn (the plumber) was punctual, friendly, and knowledgeable. When it came to the installation of the filter and fixing the faucet, Glenn was here on time, they got right to work, were finished in what I considered to be a reasonable amount of time, and then walked me through what they did and answered my questions. It's always difficult to find experts in these fields if you aren't knowledgeable yourself and that is why this experience was so important to me, as they again, tried to initially help me by sending my business somewhere else.
