One of you can leave and come back but if you all leave you cannot come back. Not bad really if you get about two hours or more play time out of it. There is a food area that sells snack type food if you didn't bring your own. Mandatory to take shoes off but not sure why if you do not engage with the equipment. I have a degenerative condition in my right foot so next time I'm not taking my shoes off. Also, you are basically forced into the bathroom without shoes on, which I feel is extremely unsanitary. I'd leave and come back if I had to because you'll never catch me in a public bathroom with just my socks on. Staff up front was alright, kind of nice, but brisk and to the point. Inside the staff basically ignore you and don't interact with any out of line kids. Parents come to let the kids blow off steam and kind of forget to keep them following any rules, so you need to pay attention to slightly younger kids to keep them from getting hurt. Overall not bad but not all that amazing either. Staff need to be more involved and the no shoe policy is a fail if you don't use the equipment.

Title: Terrible Customer Service & Inaccurate Hours I am…read morehighly disappointed with the lack of professionalism and misleading information from Bee's Backyard. Before visiting on a Wednesday, I did my due diligence: I checked the official website and listened to their automated phone system. Both explicitly stated they open at 11:00 AM.When we arrived at 11:00 AM, we were turned away and told they had a private event and wouldn't open until 12:30 PM. The staff member rudely told me I "should have checked Facebook," because Facebook had the correct hours. It is completely unreasonable to expect paying customers to bypass an official website and phone line to hunt for updates on social media. If your hours are conditional on private parties, your website and automated phone system must state that.Worse than the scheduling error was the staff's attitude. The girl working was snappy, defensive, and confrontational. When I mentioned that I had called their number, she accused me of lying and claimed she had "been here all morning and the phone didn't ring." Even after I literally showed her the call log on my screen, she refused to apologize. Instead, she doubled down with, "Well, I can't help it, those are our hours."When I asked for a manager, she claimed she was a manager, before giving me the name Paul (who is apparently on vacation for a couple of weeks). If she is indeed in a management role, her complete lack of customer service skills and combative attitude is a terrible reflection of this business. All it would have taken to resolve this was a simple: "I am so sorry for the confusion and the website error, we have a private event this morning." Instead, we were met with attitude and disrespect. We will not be returning to an environment that treats families this way.

While I play, I'm not hardcore as my one co-worker is and he says that when this place is on there, they sell very fast and they sell out. He had an extra one that was close to expiring so I got the call. Let me throw in that price wise, I have no idea what these actually cost for a round here. He told me $30 was good. Whether he took a bath on that or not, no clue. The course itself, especially considering the complete lack of rain that has fallen this year, is overall in very good shape. Mostly very green, lush and well manicured. The course's gimmick is that the 18 holes are evenly split between par 3-4-5. IMHO, the key is not gripping it and ripping it, but having a highly measured approach. Yes, you have more than your fair share of par 5s (hole #1 starts with a 500+ yard fiver), but the course also has plenty of doglegs, blind greens from the tee, large areas in the fairway of vegetation which really make you think about trying to go for it versus applying a more thoughtful strategy. If this were drums, do you want to be Steve Gadd playing on Steely Dan's Aja or someone just bashing away with clubs for hands & feet? If you try #2 you will lose a crap ton of balls. Although to be fair, unless you're fairly straight (lots of trees/narrow fairways) you're losing some balls here either way. I can't say how many I lost, but I found 16 without trying too hard. If you get the chance, this is a nice one. Sure as hell tough, but very scenic and very well maintained. You could do much worse. www.pinecrestlakegolfclub.com/golf-course/picture-gallery#gallery052c05949a-4

All previous years until 2020 it was just a little 9 hole course with little care for maintenance and upkeep. Fees for golf ranged from 11$ to 20$ depending on if you played 9 or 18 with or without cart. Currently the course is undergoing some renovations and the maintenance has improved. Fairways are decent as are the greens. They are changing #6 making it a par 4? maybe. All that said we played last week and when I booked a tee time online it was 22$ for 18 with no cart. When we arrived to play and pay our fee was now 82$. YES. 82$ We were floored. I can play any other 18 hole course in the area for less. We asked if there were senior rates it then was 80$. Too funny. The course just doesn't justify this high cost for greens fee and cart. I know we didn't have to play there but we did. Once burned. If we do play again it will be 9 and walking. The price of gas doesn't mean gouge the patrons.
