But there were no taxis at the station (or could I see a sign for a taxi rank or find anyone to ask other than getting behind a long line at the ticket kiosk), none on the end of the road from the station and none near the shopping centre - all places where you would expect to find one. After asking several people who all sent me in different directions, I found a policeman who directed me to Parkers Cars. I explained my predicament that I was now late for a meeting - it's now raining too- and the lady understood. She was straight on the phone to find a driver for me, talking to me in between calls the whole time, showing complete empathy. At least all the drivers at Ambassador Cars speak English. There is nothing worse than a taxi driver that can't speak the native language. It makes me wonder how they passed their test in the first place. There is none of this with Ambassador, they are very professional. I like their service and continue to use them. Their fares are reasonable and they are always on time.
