Bunch of associates walk around the store, constantly folding messy clothes. Fitting rooms had a dedicated associate as well. The checkout process was easy. My 41 yr heirloom sheepskin needed altering & no one wanted this impossible task. I begged the owner, John, to help, & after endless trying he found a matching fabric for my vintage coat & redesigned it. It's GORGEOUS--I was ecstatic when I took it home yesterday. It's more beautiful than when I purchased it in 1985. Thank you, John, for your perseverance in making a miracle happen!!!!!!!!!!

The coat had a belt, and John thoughtfully removed it, added snaps, and truly modernized the piece while completely respecting its history. The result is stunning. John was incredibly kind, friendly, and personable. He took so much time with my mom and me, carefully explaining all the options, talking us through fur in general, and educating us on different styles and types of furs. We never felt rushed and genuinely felt cared for throughout the process. John is the BEST. A real legend. On top of that, his showroom is filled with absolutely gorgeous pieces. My mom and I were in total awe. Truly stunning, jaw-dropping work. I would give him all my money if I could. I recommend John and Evelyn Fashion Furs to absolutely everyone in the tri-state area. If you want expertise, craftsmanship, honesty, and someone who genuinely loves what they do, this is the place.

While the service was less than stellar, I purchased the tights that virtually felt like velvet. I had them for less than 14 days. One morning, when I went to put them on, I discovered a hole the size of a half dollar. I was horrified since I had a meeting and wanted to wear them with my new boots. I telephoned the store and I was beyond mortified with the salesperson's response: " Most likely you were careless and caught them in the zipper of your boot." Virtually speechless, I murmured: " I discovered this hole, not tear, before I put on my boots which my the way I do with the utmost of care. For years I have worn Donna Karan tights and had the same pairs for a very long time. Rarely there was a run and never, ever a major tear or hole! " Well," she replied coldly, " I don't know what to tell you. It's your problem." Every time I pass this store I think of the exceptionally poor customer service. It has tarnished my regard for the brand. It is rare a store doesn't stand behind its product, especially since it purports to be of the finest quality and carries a price tag reflective of its branding. I know finding qualified help is often an issue, but training them to problem solve should be a priority. It is very rare I return anything. I detest returns. But when an item is seemingly defective, shouldn't the deemed representative address the issue? If she is incompetent which may be the case in lieu of her insensitive remarks and complete lack of product knowledge, direct me to the right party to address my concerns. I have kept the tights to remind me of this costly mistake. Want Wolford? Don't buy it here.
