We enjoy sitting by the pool with the kids on weekends and they also have childcare in the evenings. They also have a lovely covered patio where you may dine and watch the golfers. This is because it's such a nice course, it's along the Intercoastal and the Ocean, the condition is great, and the people here are so nice. Oh yeah, the restaurant is excellent too! Such a treat to play here. This public course is only made possible by the fact that wealthy businessman Michael Phipps (his grandfather was Henry Phipps, a partner of Andrew Carnegie in US Steel) owned all the property (and a lot more) and built it for his own personal use in 1961. It was privately owned until 1973, when Phipps sold it to the Town of Palm Beach for only $5 million. The course was renovated and redesigned in 2009 by Hall of Fame golfer Raymond Floyd, making it the great course it is today. Tee times can be booked online. Also, they have an excellent driving range and putting green. Make sure you include a meal. So great sitting on the deck which overlooks the ocean. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

It was unbelievably delicious!!! I also had some great Tuna Salad as well as wonderful Salmon in a beautiful sauce. Dessert consisted of scrumptious cakes and pie as well as a soft ice cream machine that produced some fabulous ice cream that I put on my cake. I topped it with a maraschino cherry--perfect!! I want to write to give praise to the Little Club of Gulf Stream, Florida, near Delray Beach. I had…read moremany wonderful childhood visits to the Little Club. My grandparents, who were longtime members of the Little Club, would frequently bring me with them to the Little Club for lunch and dinner. I loved spending time with my grandparents, who were among the club's earliest members. The dining room host named Bill would always greet us warmly, and then he would seat us in the dining room with the grand view of the Little Club golf course. I also remember the painting of the "frog golfer" in the men's locker room! The painting was of a frog-man who was dressed in golf clothes, carried a golf bag, and who had a very serious expression on his face! I loved this picture when I was a little boy, and I still do love it! The colors and decorations of the Little Club were grand, and I still have great memories of the club's ambiance. I have not been to the Little Club in about 36 years. I remember the club as vividly now as I did when I was a regular guest of my grandparents. My grandparents were close friends of the founders of the club. Thank you to the Little Club for being a wonderful part of the Gulf Stream and Delray Beach communities, and for all the great memories which still make me so happy today. I hope to visit you again one day and celebrate my family's many years of Little Club membership and patronage. God bless.

Last week it was brought to my attention that they disposed of the Muscovy ducks that had long been a huge part of Little Club, and with no warning to anyone that this was going to happen. The ducks have been there for many years and were never considered a nuisance, but always came around for their daily food and went on their way! After questioning the manager there, we were informed they had been removed from the property, but after a clear investigation it has been stated they were killed!!! What type of a human is this, in a professional position , number 1, does such a thing so discreetly and then blatantly lies as to the whereabouts!!!! I urge everyone that reads this and has a heart at all to contact the authorities about the underhanded deal that was done to these poor animals and the people that loved them!
