You feel far out, but it's only 15 minutes from downtown Lubbock and an easy drive. Staff were friendly, and we enjoyed the large space indoors and outdoors. The cushion wicker furniture on the patio was comfortable. I did not see a snack menu nor was offered one even though another review mentioned a charcuterie board. It would have been nice to have a bowl of nuts or something simple while tasting. I only gave 4 stars because as a red wine drinker, they were not my favorite wines, but they weren't bad either. I would definitely visit again!

Behind this is an open air museum of buildings from Texas ranch life in the 1800's. It is varied and fascinating to see how people lived and worked back then. The buildings are spread along a 1 1/2 mile loop and there is a nice paved sidewalk so you can walk (I did!) or you can take the little mini train which has a conductor/tour guide. So I called Rhonda and told her about my situation. Rhonda emailed me brochures of different destinations and hotels that I could choose from. That was very helpful seeing how I hadn't quite made a decision on a location. She asked that I contact her when I made a decision. I emailed her with questions that I had regarding the stay but she did not reply. Rhonda still has not contacted me back. Would not recommend for a first time location travel.
