My son was literally on the floor. From all the pain he was in. Not to mention that the emergency room was extremely dirty and disgusting. Like someone popped on the chair and floor. Extremely toxic! And UNHEALTHY FOR PATIENTS.. Not one staff member or nurse nor doctor helped him or even asked him. If he needed a wheel chair? And sadly wasn't given pain medication until almost 2 hours later. Carefully review the camera footage from the emergency room. I will be filing a complaint with the board / dept of health. These issues should definitely be taken serious. And have a NYS inspector investigate. I'm sure they will find more than what they're actually looking for. Doctors don't update patients. Rudely dismissed when patients have questions . I checked into the ER around 10pm and was seen around 15 minutes later by a female doctor. (4-5 hours later) - At 3AM I explain that I wanted to step out to get some fresh air. ( it was exceptionally warm in the ER), I was told that I could not step out and if I stepped out that I would be charged again by a Doctor Elfar ..... because it was his choice. Meaning it was up to him if I could step out of the ER to get some air and comeback without having to go through the intake process again. Meanwhile, I was not told that my ER Doctor was changed, I was not notified of any results, essentially I received nothing not even a courtesy update. When I am seeking medical assistance from the ER and I'm sitting in the waiting room for over 5 hours, some information is better than no information. Stepping outside for a min won't change anything, especially if I am just coming back to wait for another 3-4 hours. (FYI- ER had less than 10 people)

Apparently the incompetent front office staff waited till 2:25 PM to verify the insurance. I gave her all the current information but she side it was invalid. She refuses to check any more like actually call the provider number in the back of the card to check. So I have to call IBX on my phone and waited 25 minutes to get my rep. The rep. explained to her of her mistake yet she call ne a liar and said I gave her the wrong account. If that the type of staff the doctor has. I want no part of it. I got a call today, the day before my appointment with the PA Susan Paul, telling me Dr. Susan Paul has to cancel due to surgery. She is not a Dr. I called back and was told the only appointment available next would be a month away. Keep in mind, I made this follow up last week and multiple blocks were available. Now today, I am pushed back to a month away? This is unacceptable. My MRI results just came back, I have bulging discs, I am in pain, and this is unacceptable. I made a second call to request another PA and DR. This department has many medical professionals. A nasty phone rep named Tiffany verbally bullied me and basically told me I have to see Susan Paul and wait. She also felt she needed to tell me I have to deal with her only like my primary care. Keep in mind I have had 4 primary care physicians assigned to me in the last 5 months after Dr. Michealis resigned, so her logic is wrong. Tiffany continued to go "back and forth" with me in a very unprofessional manner which is contrary to proper medical decorum and customer service. I informed her I will be making complaints and notifications about this terrible patient care and service. She expressed no concern; offered no resolution, and said "ok."
