Hired Jeremy King in October to finish half basement into an office, half bath, and bedroom. My first sign of possible problems is that from the first time I called and every call there after all I would get was "MAILBOX HAS NOT BEEN SET UP". This is a way to screen calls from the ones you want to call back or not call. Such as current customers, upset customers, etc. Without going into all the details, this is how I would rate the quality of his work: FRAMING: Never seen a level being used . Had them install a new cabinet over main commode upstairs. After he was done I mentioned to him it was not level. His answer was "NO ONE ELSE WILL NOTICE". SHEETROCK: Hung, taped, and painting was poorly done. Lots of drips, imperfections had to scrape, filled in many areas with sheetrock mud and primer paint. SUSPENDED CEILING TILES. When I asked about doing the ceiling he said that when it was done you would not notice any bad places etc. I got the exact kit material to hang all the tracks. Jeremy cut and ruined the kits where they could not be retuned. This was along with cutting & wasting sheetrock. The commode and sink was an up flow type. Jeremy said he would not have problem with installation. I printed info from the internet the installation manual and other info that he was NOT INTERETED IN READING . To sum this up I had to pay a plumber $165.00 to finish that part of the project that Jeremy could not or would not do. After many more problems and issues I told Jeremy to leave in mid December even though his work was no way completed with quite a bid paid for. Where to begin... well I was quoted anywhere from $22,000-$24000, not exceed $24000 For my upstairs and $3000-$5000 for the down stairs. I paid him over $34,000 plus bought all paint, doors, flooring carpet, windows, showers, toilets, sinks, the bathtub and all fixtures. My house is still not done after 3 1/2 months and everything is visibly just wrong. I had to fire them! I'm now looking for a new contractor to fix everything this man did wrong! read more

Jeremy and crew did a lot for me yesterday. Built a beautiful shelter over my deck , door and window. Repaired a window sill and did the painting. Outstanding work!!! I have never know such workers. Nonstop until work was finished. One lovely man cleared brush that had been a big problem for me. Trimmed bushes,cut away dead trim. And carried it all away. I am in awe of these men. Could not ask for better. Polite, kind and they work like I have never seen . They also leave everything clean and in good shape. I am so happy with all the work. read more

Hired Jeremy King to do work on our new home and also to put up siding on an addition on one of our existing homes. At that time we had other contractors doing work on our new home. This work needed to be done before Jeremy King could come in and do what we hired him for. These contractors were told it was not a big hurry as we were paying as we were building from our own funds. Jeremy King felt the need to harass the other contractors to hurry up. We had to tell him twice that he was not to bother the other contractors and he could start his work when they were done. He did not seem to understand this. We had him start the siding job on the addition. His work is below standard to say the least. He leaves the impression that he does not know what he is doing and he is just trying to scam money. I will post pics. He left the job incomplete and what work he did is inferior. We attempted to call him. He refuses to work any further and threatened that he contacted his lawyer (which I don't believe him) if we don't stop bothering him. I will be calling the state of Tennessee to see if he is licensed as a contractor. Also Tennessee department of revenue to see if he is a taxpaying contractor. read more

SHOUT OUT about (Jeremy King) AKA (King's Construction) I've been meaning to give ya'll a warning about this person. He's a handy man and ill give him the benefit of the doubt, he does descent work. But he doesnt finish it. So ill advise do not pay him before he finishes the job to your liking or you will probably get the bad end of the deal. He put siding on my house and i bought all the supplies and he charged me $2,800.00 and promised he would be back to fix a few things so i took his word for it. But he did not and i had to hire someone else to fix & finish his job. That was another $800.00. read more
