They told us that this was the final coat so we told them to stop work while we re-assessed the project. They came up with no remedy. We took them to court and they told Judge Bill Jones that they were not finished when we stopped them; the opposite of what they told us. They also said the paint lifting and flaking is normal for old houses. Judge Bill Jones ruled in their favor because he said the contract was weak and he was not a painter so he did not know if this paint job was normal or not. The burden of proof was on us to prove this was not normal. DOES THIS LOOK NORMAL TO YOU?? DOES THIS LOOK LIKE A FRESHLY PAINTED HOUSE? WOULD YOU BUY THIS HOUSE WITHOUT DEMANDING IT BE PAINTED? You be the judge. We offered proof that this mess was due to them not cleaning the surface, providing information and photos from the Sherwin Williams website but it didn't matter to judge Bill Jones. Also they were really vague with our contract. Be sure they write down everything you discuss and don't let them lump it into a "prep work" or "as discussed" phrase. They said we were adding things on that we did not discuss when we pointed out issues to them. They were unwilling to take responsibility for the job results. It's our house's fault now. We are out thousands of dollars and our house still needs to be painted.

We had a two-story entryway that needing painting and they wound up painting the upstairs hallway so that they were done at the same time. Their pricing was in line or better than other estimates we received. We only had them paint the walls (since I was waiting to paint the trim during a later project). I don't know what/if they offer in the way of helping you pick paint since we already had the paint (we'd been painting other walls already and had purchased plenty of paint), but they did let us know how many gallons they'd likely need to be sure that we had enough on hand. Excellent explanation of the process and the time it would take. They communicated well and let us know when another (outdoor) job had run a few days behind and we were able to schedule a good date for us both. I work at home and they respected the need to keep noise down - they were so quiet! The preparation to protect the area where they worked was thorough and the paint job was excellent. The clean up was superb - except for well-painted walls, you wouldn't have known we had anyone there that day! They had let me know if I wanted them to work a longer day that they could have it done in one day and they delivered! The attention to detail and quality of the work makes me highly recommend them for your interior painting needs!

Hired Jeremy King in October to finish half basement into an office, half bath, and bedroom. My…read morefirst sign of possible problems is that from the first time I called and every call there after all I would get was "MAILBOX HAS NOT BEEN SET UP". This is a way to screen calls from the ones you want to call back or not call. Such as current customers, upset customers, etc. Without going into all the details, this is how I would rate the quality of his work: FRAMING: Never seen a level being used . Had them install a new cabinet over main commode upstairs. After he was done I mentioned to him it was not level. His answer was "NO ONE ELSE WILL NOTICE". SHEETROCK: Hung, taped, and painting was poorly done. Lots of drips, imperfections had to scrape, filled in many areas with sheetrock mud and primer paint. SUSPENDED CEILING TILES. When I asked about doing the ceiling he said that when it was done you would not notice any bad places etc. I got the exact kit material to hang all the tracks. Jeremy cut and ruined the kits where they could not be retuned. This was along with cutting & wasting sheetrock. The commode and sink was an up flow type. Jeremy said he would not have problem with installation. I printed info from the internet the installation manual and other info that he was NOT INTERETED IN READING . To sum this up I had to pay a plumber $165.00 to finish that part of the project that Jeremy could not or would not do. After many more problems and issues I told Jeremy to leave in mid December even though his work was no way completed with quite a bid paid for. Not worth the headaches, loss of sleep, aggravation especially for a 76 year old, disabled Vet to have to put up with. LIVE & LEARN

Tried to putty up where made gashes but will have to pay to get deck refurbished and only about 3/4 years old. They provided 5%discount but not much considering have to have someone come and repair boards correctly. Got impression, owner could careless. Guys who worked on deck did apologize. Just read proposal and confirm that all things listed will be fine. I did this but should have double and triple checked. Lied.

A lot went well but more went wrong.
