Unfortunately, at that time I couldn't afford one so I told him I'd be back. Well, I decided to drive it, only when necessary, then I parked it. For a few years. Well last year I was finally able to afford the new transmission so I went to Odin's shop again, and made an appointment. I picked up my aviator on the scheduled pick up date, and It drove like it never had before. Like it was brand new again. Any time I called or stopped in, Odin, and/or his mechanic, Cody, were happy to assist me. I was very impressed with the few days it took, the mannerism of these two young men, and mostly with how professional Odin is. I received a call around September from Dillon that a customer had taken my trucks keys and left the facility with them. I'm sorry but how did that happen? Were my keys placed on the counter close to customers ? Did you give them to the customer by accident? Luckily I give the business my spare key rather than my primary Keyset. I then received a call back 2 hours later that they have located the man who had taken my keys and insisted that he came back and paid for my oil change. I let that incident slide. I recently just went in for an oil change. I called the business at around 1:00 Pm and Dillion answered. I kindly asked if they had any availability today for an oil change. The appointment was made for 3:00 that evening. I did not receive a call regarding that my truck was ready. Let's just say that I called back at 7:00 PM and Debbie answered clueless about the incident. She called Dillion about my truck and he said that he had started drinking so he could not get my truck out of the shop. So Debbie got up and went down to the shop and gave me my truck. Update: Today I removed the plenum and then the intake manifold and wouldn't you know... There was…read morethe knock sensor lying in the void beneath the manifold. Not in the sensor channel that leads the the area between the fuel injectors like it was when I delivered it. The Sureway employee explicitly told me as she wrote me off that if the part was on the engine when they got it, it would be there when I got it back. I am simply taken aback by the arrogance and inability to be humble enough to accept that mistakes can happen and sometimes things get overlooked. So... after paying over $2,200 for a rebuild I ended up paying for a new plenum gasket, intake manifold gasket, RTV silicone for the water outlet housing and hours out of my day without so much as an apology or offer to refund a small portion in light of what is likely an honest mistake. Honest or not, right is right and wrong is wrong. Be sure to THOROUGHLY photograph your engine or whatever you take there if you decide to do business with Sureway. THOROUGHLY inspect the engine when you receive it back and don't install it like I did before you notice the fault. There will be no offer made to make it right even though it's not your fault. Update: An oil leak developed on the top of the engine. After much looking I discovered it was leaking from the driver side valve cover. I removed the cover and found that the gasket was pinched in two spots on the engine side of the valve cover. The gasket was not seated properly and pinched as a result. I installed the replacement properly and the leak was remedied. I didn't bother calling to complain because I already learned my lesson. Overall I am completely disappointed in Sureway's lack of professionalism and inattention to detail.
