We visited Kingdom Sushi in South Tampa for a weekday lunch, and it was a great experience. This is an all-you-can-eat bazillian sushi and other Japanese dishes. It had a normal amount of customers for a weekday, so it was not too busy. My favorite was the sashimi. The fish meat was fresh, a generous size, and beautifully presented. I also loved the grilled salmon hand roll. We tried several different sushi rolls too, and they were all fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. For appetizers, the ceviche, the salmon tartare, the gyoza, the cucumber salad, the mushroom were very good as well. The noodle was just OK. For dessert, the fried banana was additive. i wished I had room for another order. The service was attentive and fast. Our food came quickly. Overall, it was a very good experience. If you love sushi and want to try many dishes without spending too much, I recommend Kingdom Sushi. read more

Kingdom Sushi was great! We did the all-you-can-eat dinner and got to try so many different dishes. The appetizers ended up being our favorite out of everything we ordered. The portions are a little smaller, but that's expected since you can keep ordering as much as you want. Overall, for an all-you-can-eat dinner, we had no complaints and really enjoyed the experience! read more

Stopped by Kingdom Sushi for their all-you-can-eat option and was impressed!!! Our server was great, checking on us multiple times for orders and keeping the plates coming out quickly. We didn't do the premium option, so I will say, your choices on rolls are a bit limited, but the quality of the sushi made up for it! read more

Kingdom Sushi - Salmon Nigiri (4 pcs) - Sushi Bars Near Me - Tampa, Florida

See all

The restaurant is beautiful, and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, the food didn't meet my expectations. I felt the sushi menu tried to do too much by combining mismatched flavors that didn't work well together. Sometimes, keeping sushi simple and true to traditional flavor combinations is the better approach. I ordered the all-you-can-eat option and left disappointed. While the experience itself was pleasant, I don't think the food offered good value for the price. read more

Kingdom Sushi is a place where you roll the dice--literally. Some of what we ordered was fantastic, and some felt like it had been premade, frozen, shipped on horseback, and thawed in time for dinner service. Three stars, because we averaged the highs and lows and landed squarely in "huh... okay." Let's start with the Rainbow Roll. If you've ever wondered what it feels like to bite into a roll stored in the North Pole, wonder no more. It was as cold as the beer in the frosty mug... and honestly, the mug might've been warmer. If sushi had a winter coat, this roll was wearing it. Now--credit where credit is due--the nigiri was spot-on. Simple choices (just salmon, tuna, and shrimp), but executed beautifully. Clean cuts, great texture, and tasted fresh enough that I briefly made eye contact with the fish spirit realm. If they expanded the nigiri selection, I'd happily ascend the throne. The menu has some wildly creative rolls you won't see anywhere else. You can tell the chef was having fun... and also discovered cream cheese at some point in life and never recovered. If you love cream cheese in your sushi, congratulations--you've found your soulmate. If you don't, tread carefully. And then there were the temaki hand rolls. Flavor? Great. Size? Guinness-Book-of-World-Records big. I've never been physically intimidated by a hand roll until now. I needed a game plan. Possibly a spotter. Definitely two hands. Maybe a helmet. Atmosphere? Surprisingly classy. Elegant without being stiff. The kind of place where you could have a nice date... as long as you're okay with your partner watching you wrestle a hand roll the size of a traffic cone. Overall: good food, occasionally great, occasionally puzzling. Worth trying--just be ready for the Kingdom to keep you on your toes. read more

Fun place to try Brazilian style sushi. I went with my daughter and sister. We went at 6:45 on a Saturday, and it was nearly empty, but it was half full by the time we left. We opted to order a la carte, as I doubted I'd eat enough to justify AYCE. I started with the tropical sake drink. It was nice and refreshing. My sister got the blended pineapple mint drink, and it was a delight. Service was great at first but slowed down once more people trickled in. We ordered the edamame, a cucumber avocado roll, French fries, a joy topped with fried onions, tuna ceviche, sunomono, and a hot salmon roll (with pepper jelly). I thought the ceviche's seasoning was overpowered with smokiness. Otherwise, everything was delicious! I liked how refreshing the cucumber salad was with the lychee. I could taste truffle in the edamame. I know there's a lot of cream cheese on the menu, but I guess that is how the Brazilian people like it. It was an experience. Plenty of parking in the lot when we arrived, but the lot was full.when we left. I don't love this mini mall. read more

Kingdom Sushi This place was a complete train wreck. Charging $50 per person for this food is borderline robbery. I've had better meals at gas stations -- at least they don't pretend to be something they're not. Food: * The ceviche was the only thing that didn't taste like it came straight from a microwave. Everything else was pure cafeteria‑level disappointment. * The fried rice tasted exactly like a frozen steam‑pack dumped on a plate. * The edamame was microwaved into rub. * The "premium" all‑you‑can‑eat sushi was laughable. The sashimi came with hot rice and tasted like bait -- my girlfriend almost threw up. * The churros looked like they'd given up on life. Cold filling, zero flavor, absolutely depressing. Service: The communication barrier made everything harder, but the worst part was the waiter standing there staring at us while we filled out the bill. It felt like we were being watched to make sure we didn't run out on the check -- trust me, we wanted to run out on the food, not the bill. Value: This place pretends to be Brazilian‑Japanese fusion and charges Brazilian steakhouse prices, but the food quality is straight Golden Corral leftovers. On a $120 bill, we still tipped $25 because the kitchen is the real villain here. This restaurant is a solid -5/10. If I'm spending $50, I'll go to a real Brazilian steakhouse. Kingdom Sushi should be charging $15 max, and even that feels generous. read more

Server - Amanda Look, gonna be brutally honest, they didn't have me in the first half. Price for the AYCE was fair. But when they were bringing out the food, rolls came out in 4pcs instead of 8 and it seemed like portions were minimized. I was thinking maybe they are trying to curb costs or maximize profit, because this isn't what I'm used to with AYCE. But halfway through the meal, I had a moment of clarity. Most other AYCE sushi places just try to stuff you with low quality fish and mediocre rolls and leave you feeling full but unsatisfied. However, I understood immediately that this place is selling more than just quality food, but an experience. They don't want you to gourge and stuff yourself. They want you to enjoy, taste, and appreciate their culinary fusion of Brazilian and Japanese cuisine. Which, was an absolute first for me and I loved every bite. While it's AYCE, they want you to be able to experience their menu to its fullest, not fill on 3 rolls and call it a night. You can tell right away from the curated menu that the chefs put a lot of hard work and love into the dishes, and a piece of their Brazilian culture, meanwhile respecting the foundation of Japanese cuisine. The servers were kind and took their time. You didn't feel rushed, and it's a pretty relaxing ambiance. They answered all and any questions and with patience. I have no complaints on the food and happy we happened to choose this place for date night. What an experience and can't wait to come back again. If I had to give ONE piece of feedback at all, I would say to throw in some Brazilian music here and there to break up the chill club music. Well done Chefs and Amanda! read more

Hebert was amazing! Super friendly made the best drinks and was very attentive. He made me a pineapple lime juice which was freshly made in the restaurant and when I was leaving, I ordered a freshly squeezed lemonade to go, and that was so good! I like my lemonade sour with a little bit of sweetness, and that's exactly how this was! When I got there, there was a bit of a wait, although there were only a couple of tables inside that had people there however, the host this was in the restroom so I waited at the front unattended for almost 5 minutes. That's the only con that I had during my visit. I tried the shrimp tempura, which is great but make sure you ask for spicy mayo with it or use soy sauce to dip it in. It came out in a cute glass. For my meal, I had the hot sushi with salmon and it was so good! Hebert recommended it. I've never had sushi come out looking like that or even taste how it tasted. He told me the restaurant is Brazilian style. I will definitely be back! Definitely give them a try and ask for Hebert. read more

I have not have the Brazilian sushi before. This visit increased my experiences on how the sushi to be eaten. This restaurant weekday All You Can Eat lunch has the promotion. The price is lower than the menu five dollars. We start with the appetizers in the menu. The first dish is my favorite salmon carpaccio. This dish have slices of salmon on ponzu sauce. Very delicious. Then we move to tilapia bite with fried tilapia. Sunomono is a bit different than the Japanese style. This sunomono is basically cucumber and bifum noodles. We also got salmon croquettes which is interesting. The last app is the ceviche. Mainly tilapia. Our main dish is the sashimi with salmon, tuna, octopus, shrimp, white fish. Overall is a good presentation. Highly recommended. The Temaki we have is the Doritos Temaki. Which is salmon hand roll with Doritos chips sprinkled on the open area. The Temaki is the crispy Temaki. This is Temaki full of fried salmon. Now we are talking about Brazilian sushi rolls. We start with Uramaki Boss Roll. This is shrimp tempura inside and top with salmon with pepper jelly. Very delicious. My favorite are the two chef specials. The first one is the chef jacquin roll. This is the grill salmon with salmon skin. The second is the chef maniho roll with salmon and truffle oil. We also got Haruhot roll as shrimp wrap in the Harumaki dough fried like spring rolls. The next is the Djoy that use the salmon as kin to wrap the rice and top with the choice of toppings. Overall is a good experience. We were there at the opening hours. After we seat, we were not been attended for 12 minutes. Kind of let down. For AYCE we always order in first contact and no server comes to us. After that we are good with service. The server need to attentive and fluent in English and know the sushi product. Those are the place they can improve. Some of the item they did not follow the menu indicated such as tuna tataki missing the ponzu sauce. Tip : when you order Djoy, you can select your sushi to torch. The burn salmon is flavorful and don't forget the toppings to go with it. read more

Absolutely recommend coming here. I am a sushi lover and drove up from Sarasota for it as my first time here, and it did not disappoint. From a friendly greeting to speedy service and some of the most tasty sushi flavour I've experienced. Peaceful restaurant, super friendly staff and was an all around win. $40+ for the regular AYCE. $50+ for the premium AYCE. They charge $3.50 for a bottle of Aquafina. The sushi rolls are pre-rolled and come out of the refrigerator. I know this to be a fact because when we first got seated, I went to the bathroom and saw the sushi rolls behind the bar wrapped in plastic. We were the 2nd table seated in the place. Publix has better sushi. $160+ and we left hungry. The service was otherwise, excellent. read more

I always LOVE kingdom sushi, they are a Brazilian style sushi place. They are a little expensive but it is worth the food. They are always very nice although they aren't always the fastest. But every time I get the chance I always come back here. 100/100 read more

The place was dirty and disorganized. They asked for a reservation even when it was 8:30pm on a Sunday night and it was almost empty inside. After making us wait for 10', the manager came out and curtly told us it would be an additional 10min wait bc they needed to "clean" the tables. Again, it was almost empty inside and they had plenty of clean and unoccupied tables. Dont understand the hype at all. Dont waste your time and money here! read more

I frequently go to sushi restaurants and I have tried many in the area when it comes to all you can eat sushi. We personally didn't like restaurant this is a Brazilian twist on sushi. We won't be coming back. All of the food was bland the only sushi roll that we thought that was really good and we ordered multiple times just to get our money's worth was the Chef Maninho's roll. Other items we thought were great . Spring Roll Vegetable Cookie Sandwich Crunchy ice cream Missosiro - Miso Tokyo Tropical Spritz So I'm going to list everything that we thought wasn't good at all . Chicken lo mein Fried rice Tilapia bites Salmon croquettes Chef Jacquinn's roll. The salmon that they're using in the rolls taste like dried salmon. Very chewy no taste and dry. When it comes to overall location great experience the staff was very nice and the building was very nice plenty of seating and parking. This is really the only reason why they're getting three stars. We were able to get the special all you can eat for $29 . Specialty drinks were buy one get one free. read more

Food here is very good. It is the best sushi. It's the best all you can eat sushi i have ever had. I love sashimi and always get that whenever I'm out eating sushi. I also tried some of their other rolls that they had. My favorite role was Nigiri salmon with wasabi, sea salt and truffle oil. The service was very good. I didn't have to ask to get my water refilled and they made sure that I had all the sauces I needed and if I needed any more sushi. Along with all the good food they also had, they also had a very clean and nicely decorated restaurant. read more

Terrible Service server had terrible auttied and checked up everything inncorect and added extra tip for herself.

Ok let me start by saying most of the food we ordered was delicious, except for the salmon and shrimp risotto. I was very bland and just tasted like tomato soup on rice and a bland over cooked salmon. They charge $5 for a can of coke and $6.50 for a small bottle of apple juice. No refills. That's crazy. For that price I can get a whole pack. The service was lacking. We had to ask for an extra can of coke and plastic silverware because the waitress wasn't attentive and there was only two other tables so it wasn't busy. Save your money and go to sushi Yama. Better prices and better service. read more

My friend for weeks was asking me to go to an all you can eat sushi place. Reluctantly, I finally caved and took our significant others on a date here. Underwhelmed is an understatement, this has to be the worst sushi experience I have ever encountered. As a sushi enthusiast I can easily say with credibility that this is not only the worst sushi/food I have ever had but the service was equally on par. I felt uncomfortable at the table due to us wanting to leave as fast as we possibly could. I have never been so excited to pay a large tab in order to leave in my life. The ambiance was nice, went for lunch. Something happened with our order it seemed to not reach the cook the first time, so we ordered again then got two of the same orders plus had to make sure we finished it because they charge for every piece left over. It's seems pretty new and the menu seems a little weak. $35 for all you can eat sushi is not bad but $5 for a can of coke is a little pricey. Ordered two cokes and paid $10.
