I stayed 3 nights at the King William IV so this review is about their bed & breakfast offering. They have four bedrooms in an outbuilding in the car park. The room I had was rather small and the bed filled it up, so it was a struggle moving around in the room. The room was nicely decorated and clean and the bathroom was OK. The bed was comfortable. I was travelling on business, so when I arrived I was shocked to learn that breakfast was not served until 8 a.m. They did provide a packed breakfast, but it was not the cooked breakfast I had been looking forward to. The car park is gravel, so my sleep was disturbed by people leaving the pub and crunching on the gravel. I had to have the window open as it was so hot in the room even with the thermostat turned right down. Furthermore, people would come out to the car park for a smoke and their fumes would enter my room. In the morning there were cigarette butts in the plant pot under my window (no plant in it!). I nearly threw up on my packed breakfast. The wifi was erratic and I had to fetch the manager to reboot the router. It's expensive for what it is and I've now found much better in the area for much less. read more
