As Chinese food buffets go, the price can't be beat. I particularly like going for lunch. A friend and I go and we always get green tea(more on that later) and our bill after tax is a bit over $20 for the both of us for lunch on a weekday. (FYI I'm judging this based on other buffets at the same price point in the area) The food: All the food is better than any lower end price buffet. Not nearly as greasy as what I could order, sushi is basic but didn't smell fishy but I only stuck to the non-raw rolls, no need to test my luck. I really love the Crab Rangoon, very full with filling and slightly sweet like cream cheese. Nothing really stuck out, everything was what you could order from a Chinese restaurant but, once again, way less greasy than ordering which always gives me a stomach ache. I always order green tea there and I never expect much, there is the basic bag of tea in the metal pot. But unfortunately it taste like they could use a couple more bags as it is very water down and the tap water they use doesn't taste so good. Covid/Cleanliness: All staff is wearing masks, restaurant is not dirty, seats and tables are wiped off after every use. There's nothing really I can complain about here, it's about as clean as any buffet I've ever been to in the same price range. Over the couple of times I've been there, I've never seen any bugs. Staff: The staff is particularly friendly, as I stated above all are wearing masks. Throughout my stay my waitress was very nice and attentive. My water cup never hit the bottom as she was always filling it up. I've been there both in a busy time for dinner and slow time for lunch and I can say that both times I was waited on equally as well. Overall, I really like this buffet and it's one of the buffets that I pick for lunch when I go out. I can always trust that it won't give me a stomach ache and I won't go broke filling my stomach. I wouldn't recommend going for dinner, I've only been once but for the price (around $35-40 for two) and how packed they get it's not really worth it. Additionally, as many other buffets in the area, the crab legs are boiled in plain water and they're not really appetizing. So if that's the only reason you want to go for dinner, skip it. read more

This was first visit in a few years. The place has always been dark, dingy, unkempt. It was worse this time. No money invested interior, ever. The food was bland, LESS than bad "take-out" Chinese. I also tried some of the "American" FF, fried chicken, etc Not good but worse-most if not all were warm at best?!? Like warmer not working? Then, the check $19.16 for lunch. This is comparable to "Crazy Buffett" ?????? which offers a lot more-stir-fry, edible looking sushi and above avg Chinese food. (Newer building, clean, better area, et al!!!) arbitrary pricing should END a LOT of restaurants! ***free business consult. Get rid of "sushi" (looks pitiful, can only imagine lack of quality) offer value Chinese buffet w ONLY Chinese food, etc $11.99? Get a new "cook" or least someone comfortable w YouTube and learning! Lastly, if you think you're comparable to "other" Buffett just go to crazy buffet(WPB) or (also old bldg) Boynton Beach "kingdom"(?) no comparison! You only have to check sales, year over year, to prove my point read more

Just under $20 for lunch, with a drink and after tax, I do not think it's worth the experience. The fried rice, General chicken, and some of the meat dishes are decent, but just about everything else in the buffet is extremely subpar. The wait staff is very friendly, but they look overworked. Frankly I feel bad for them, having to constantly clean up this mess. The place looks aged and could definitely use some renovations. I came in to eat at the very end of their lunch rush on a Sunday, which could have been a judging factor for the 2 stars. Not sure, but I probably won't be coming back. read more

This establishment is a disgrace, @19.99 a person I wasn't expecting "PF Chang" but I at least expect filtered water... A lot of sodium is never needed in our food but present some kind of flavor and moisture... Most items were as dry as the Sahara but there's no point of crying over spilled milk... Not a restaurant I would suggest so make decisions wisely read more

A Royal Decree of Disappointment: King's Super Buffet I gave King's Super Buffet two stars, and frankly, that is an act of staggering generosity. Those stars belong entirely to our server, who was a beacon of professional excellence in a sea of culinary despair. If I were rating the food alone, I'd be looking for a way to award negative numbers. Let's start with the "Sushi Bar," a term used here with the kind of audacity usually reserved for bank heists. Calling this a sushi bar is like calling a box of crayons a fine art gallery. What we had was a monotonous parade of Krab Rolls. Krab with a 'K.' The Variety: Krab with rice, Krab with seaweed, Krab with... more Krab. The Verdict: There was no actual fish to be found. For the sake of consumer protection and linguistic accuracy, management should immediately rename this the Roll Station. Or perhaps "The Krab Cubicle." The rest of the buffet was a grim museum of what happens when food loses its will to live. Imagine a vast, echoing hall--nearly empty of people but filled with the ghosts of better meals. The four food stations offered a texture palette that ranged from "industrial ceramic" to "damp sponge." Temperature: Everything was "luke-warm at best," which is the exact temperature required to encourage bacterial growth while discouraging human enjoyment. Texture: The selections were hard, stale, and seemingly petrified. I wasn't sure if I should eat the General Tso's or use it to patch a hole in my drywall. The Facilities: Then, there is the men's room. I won't go into graphic detail, but I will say this: I sincerely hope the kitchen is cleaner than the restroom. If the sanitation standards are consistent across the building, we aren't just looking at a bad dinner; we're looking at a biological hazard. The Bottom Line: Do not waste your time. Do not waste your hard-earned money. And for the love of all that is holy, do not waste your intestinal tract. King's Super Buffet is a kingdom in decline, and the only thing "Super" about it is the speed at which you should drive past it. Give the server a raise, then burn the rest for the insurance money. read more

Decided to try it out. Noticed the clientele was overwhelmingly Hispanic. Then I looked at the food and noticed it was Chinese food made in a Hispanic style, so not Chinese food. The fried rice was fried Spanish rice. Atmosphere was dark and dingy, did not look "clean". I was looking for good Chinese food and did not get it. I tried a little of everything and the Japanese chicken was the only thing I would rate over a 5/10. My wife could not eat her food due to the taste being off, we ultimately decided to not finish eating and left. We went to Panda Express and had "real" Chinese food (by comparison). read more

I am a vegetarian so I just ordered off the menu however, my husband isn't a vegetarian and he really enjoyed that buffet. He said it's the best buffet he's been to! I'm glad we found it. They were very friendly there and it was enormous with over 125 different items on the buffet. read more

I don't often write reviews but when I do, either it blew me out of the water or sank me into the water. This buffet used to be my favorite buffet to go. I recently went with my family and the atmosphere seemed gloomier than I remembered. Service was good, but the food was terrible, barely warm. I should have left when I had the chance. But because I didn't, now me, my 3 year old, my 1 year old and my wife all have food poisoning. It's been 3 days since and still suffering. NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN. read more

Absolutely awful, I have never stood up in solidarity all 5 others and myself to leave after the first 2 bites. King Super Buffet - Devoured the food. - Chinese Near Me - West Palm Beach, Florida

Food was OK. Depends on what time of day you go and what day of the week and the service is so so I mean you serve yourself and the only service you really get is when they clear your plates or you ask for a soda that they refill the ambience is pretty roomy, so it's not overcrowded like other places that's the only plus there.. so my suggestion is if you want fresher food, and for it not to be too hard to go anytime from 2 o'clock to closing if you want it to be fresher. Or you're going to feel like you wasted your money read more

The worst possible Chinese food in West Palm Beach is here at King's. Loved only by people who knows absolutely nothing aboit flavor, every item tried was either flavorless, off- tasting or just plain inedible. Soups were watery and bland, fried foods were mushy inside, fish dishes were off tasting and funny smelling, as when fish has started going bad. Looks of the buffet was good, but really deceiving. Definitely will not be back nor will I recommend anyone eat at this place. And to top it all, we arrived about 15 mins after opening, so everything was supposedly 'fresh: outta the kitchen What a joke... read more

Absolutely the worse food i have ate . Do not recommend at all. Food had no taste at all.

Amazing that the health department hasn't Closed this place down yet. Was there this afternoon and what a disappointment! A number of trays were empty and just sitting there for the duration of my stay. The food that was there was either stale/ old or some that looked edible were just tasteless and bland the boneless ribs which I will post a pic looked like they were in a fire! The fried items were petrified, the egg rolls appeared to be appetizing but when you bite into it is Mush. Like it was rotten. The chicken/beef and broccoli was the only items I could find that I felt safe with and the meat was tough like shoe leather on both. I won't even start with the Sushi! You would have to have a Death wish to eat that. I will be going to Boynton beach for now on. read more

More like barf-fay. This place is filthy. The clientele...yikes. The hot food is cold, the cold food is slimy, and the Mongolian bbq station has rotten food on it. The sushi, just don't. In other words, nothing here is kept at proper healthy temperatures. The waitress was barely there, and the rest of the staff seemed drugged. I write this as I await my impending food poisoning. Someone call the health department and close this health hazard down! Yuck! read more

Well I should have known it was going to be bad. From the trash all around the front door and the homeless guy sleeping out front. Walked around the buffet line. Walked over to the sushi line that was a instant NOPE. dull looking sushi M NOPE. So went for chicken wings. Raw on the inside and cold. Green beans cold. Ribs cold. Cubed pork taste like licorice don't even understand how that's even possible. The soup was hot. That was the only thing hot and the ice cream was cold. That was probably the best part of the night the ice cream stay away from this place and if you don't believe me, drive around back, you will be shocked the back door was being held open by a shopping cart with watermelon's in it . Just wide open no protection from rodents the storage room the door was wide open with no protection. I will never have her ever go there again. If you do not believe me please drive around back you will see how nasty the back of the place is trash everywhere it's truly disgusting. read more

Came here with my husband and kids for Christmas dinner. Honestly on a whim since it was the closest buffet from the one we wanted to go to that was open and not packed. The location isn't the best (an awkward shopping plaza) but we've been to far worse. Walking in the there is a little pond with turtles and fish, the kids loved it. Staff was super friendly! We were sat right away, and a waitress came within seconds to take our drink order. The tables, booths and chairs could definitely use a good cleaning/reupholstering and a nice paint job wouldn't hurt. The restaurant itself is much larger than it looks from the outside, I think. The buffet is good, all the usual things you would expect and they were replenishing as soon as things were getting low. The crab legs were delicious, the spring rolls and crab rangoon were also good. The sushi bar was great some of the best tasting buffet sushi I've had in a while. The dessert part wasn't as "stocked" and the ice cream section could use a little help but all in all we weren't disappointed. read more

Food was nasty. We had 12 people with us and everyone of us got sick after eating here. The worst lunch I have ever aid for in my life. I can't comment on dinner but the lunch was nothing short of disgusting. First the good news: the chafing dishes were hot enough for the hot food and the cold food was on ice. No the bad, and I am a very bad news. The food was tasteless and obviously made with inferior products. Normal beef has flavor, as does decent quality chicken and pork. Store bought vegetables taste like vegetables. Well not at the Kings super Buffet. It all taste the same, that is there is no taste! Also I can't claim that this is related but I did some most of this afternoon in the bathroom. read more

The food was dry, overcooked or tasteless except for the seaweed salad which was the highlight of my visit. The description tags above the dishes were either incorrect or missing entirely. If I could give this place negative stars I would!! DISGUSTING DISGUSTING DISGUSTING!! Food was bland and cold. How can you have food on a hot line and it be cold. Don't waste your time or money on this place! I'm surprised how this place still in business!! read more

It's one of those dime a dozen large super buffets. The food wasn't especially hot, but it was pretty good if you picked and chose. I just think these places could cut 2/3 of their menu easily and focus on making the other 1/3 that much better, because there are gems out there if you try a lot. Had just a couple pieces of sushi - not bad. I really really really wish they'd label what they put out. I'd be FAR more apt to try them if I knew what it was, because I'm a sucker for cheaper rolls! read more

I just wanted a buffet to not eat fast food. I'm not returning. The food looked very unappealing. Bland bland bland. The fried rice had a strange taste the shrimp didn't look properly cleaned. This was the worst buffet i've ever been in I was out here visiting from Texas. The food was right down awful. For $17 per person is outrages. Everything was tasteless and for a super buffet during the dinner hours all of the food sections should be used. They had one complete section with no food at all. The place is completely filthy. Dust everywhere. The carpet has not been steam cleaned in months. Come out to Texas, much cleaner $7 - $8 per person. They did not have fried ruce, teriyaki chicken or a lot of the items you would expect. Stay away from this place. read more

Good fare, better than most Chinese buffets, and prices are average to high. Went today, bill was $15 for dinner buffet -- but had those nice cold crab legs they put out. Put $20 on the bill plate to pay the "Waitress" and I use that term very lightly, and she literally asked me 'do i need change'. Really?!??! Do they think I am going to leave a $5 tip to the equivalent of a busser??? What arrogance! Does she think I am going to leave a 30% tip at a damn buffet? Comes back with my change with an attitude -- left her about $1.50 or so which is to be expected. Don't think I really need that kinda hassle. read more
