The warranty they offer is bullshit. If you buy a car from here, realize the warranty is worthless. I bought a car from here about a month ago with a 90 day warranty or 3000 miles witch ever comes first. When I asked what does the warranty cover he said it basically covers only the engine and transmission. What he doesn't tell you is the warranty ONLY COVERS UP TO 500 DOLLARS OF THE REPAIR. So if the car he sold you needs a motor costing 5000 dollars, the warranty only covers 500 so you would be left paying 4500 dollars. If you buy a car here, you're basically not getting a warranty because it barely covers any of the cost of a repair. read more

Being from Roseville area it was hard for me to make a decision where to shop for a car specially in a situation like mine where I am struggling with low credit score and no major dealership or bank would finance for me. I was recommended to check with king star auto. I called the owner to see if we can meet up for me to see if he has any options available. He was very nice and I was actually able to get an appointment on the same day. I met with him and I was amazed with all the options and prices that he was able to offer. I was able to finance and buy a clean title car for a very reasonable price. The owner stayed with me calling different institutions to see who will finance for me. I was able to walk out of the dealership with a new car that I wanted and low financing of it. Very happy and will definitely recommend to everyone. Just rolled of the lot with a used but very nice 2001 Jaguar XKR. A rare find being a black on black coupe with low miles. I read the ad for the car at Craigslist and was kinda skeptical of the offer and all the claims about financing and service that they offered My loan package was not a pristeen one to say the least, low credit score due to lack of credit history among other things. I called Art back after he called me about the car on Saturday afternoon and I asked a series of questions about financing and the cash I had in hand. I explained I needed to take Mega bus to Sacramento from San Francisco to get car and he offered to pick me up and take me to the car lot. Art was personable and very diligent and got the job done as he promised. It was far from an easy task even for a pro like Art, Even though Halloween night and we got deal done late on Saturday night to boot. It was the best car buying experience I have ever had and would recommend Art to anyone and would tell them to take the trip to Sacto and check him out even from the Bay Area. read more

I recommend who ever buy a car from this dealership to purchase the three day return car and at least minimum of 90 day's warranty. Make sure everything is in fine print. Long story short, my parents bought a car here at this dealership. It didn't have warranty. Asked for warranty but George the salesman was like it didn't have warranty but he'd ensured that the car wouldn't give a problem because the engine was rebuilt. So I told him exactly that's why we're concerned. He said my dad is like a friend he will take care of my dad and wouldn't scam him. Made lots of promise that he didn't hold up to until we continuously bug him. Sure enough we took his word's for it even though we were skeptical about it. On the third day from the day wr purchase the car, we've encountered engine problem. We wanted our money back but George insisted that they'll have their mechanic take a look and do us a favor by fixing the problem. Week's gone by we would not get updates on the car. I would have to always call George and he said he will give me a call back with updates but never do. Now I've run of patients made point's across and he threatened me that "REMEMBER IM DOING YOU GUY'S A FAVOR, I DON'T HAVE TO HELP IF I DON'T WANT TO" I told him that I'm tired of him threatening me like that every single time when I ask for answer and he can't provide for me. If he really wanted to help and see my dad as a friend than he would do a better job than that instead of making excuses. At first George told me it was a easy fix and give them a few day's and we shall get the car back. Eventually it was a lie. Then he tells me well the mechanic made multiple attempts and couldn't fix the problem so they're taking the car to Toyota dealership to have it diagnostic. Supposedly they did. Still haven't gotten our car back and it's been one month. So I insisted to see the progress of the car to see if they were really working on the car. Tell me why they had no idea what's the name of the shop and the address. They only know the surroundings and where it's located. George said I have nothing to hide if you want go head and stop by there. Okay well I need name of shop and address. Couldn't provide Mr that information. He said he'll have Hayk give me the name and address cause he was just there a couple day's to see progress of the car. Turns out that when I asked Hayk he said he knows nothing where the shop is at only George would know. Okay so who's lying George said you was just there and Hayk said he never went there he has no clue. So finally I found the shop myself. George said to me, when you get there don't mention anything about your the owner of the car keep it low profile otherwise they're gonna charge him a lot. Whatever. Well tell me why the mechanic was like it's a easy problem fix. The fourth transmission had a broken spring. Just replace the spring and it should work. So then I asked why took so long. Mechanic said he's been sick and haven't been able to work on it. Asked if they did any other work on it and he said no. Just this, take it apart and switch out spring. Okay so now who's lying. When I mentioned this to George he said don't believe him, mechanic is kind of upset at him so disregard what he says. Honestly I don't believe George anymore. So seems like problem is fixed, took the car home for exactly one month and four day's what do you know the problem occurs again. On record yes we were given 30 day warranty but then I asked so what if they just fixed the problem to bypass the warranty and it occurs again? He said you need not worry about that. If they didn't fix the problem, all it takes is 30 day's and the problem shall occurs but if it doesn't then it means it's fixed. So what if the same problem occurs less than 90 day. The same problem will they be responsible for it. Hayk and George agreed that if it's the same problem take it back to them and they will help. Well today Hayk is ignoring my calls and texts. He will not response back at all. He said he will get back to me Thursday but never did. Doesn't pick up or text back. George on the other hand is supposedly on a vacation. All I want to know is if they are willing to come in half of cost or not so we now how to take actions. I'm tired of this game waiting for this and that. This is just the short version. Left a lot of details out, but my point is don't trust them. Have everything documented date and signed. Have your mechanic fix instead of them. I thought we talked it out and we can have this trust again but guess I was wrong. Til this day I'm still waiting for a response and still haven't gotten one. read more

My son bought a car from here a few months back. The car seemed ok at the time and it was my son's first financed car. Buying a used car is always a roll of the dice. I've always believe that a man's word means something . We asked the right questions about the car and felt confident about the purchase. There were was one obvious issue with it,the emergency hazard button wasn't working. I was promised that it would be fixed. $25 part. Picked up the car and all seemed well. Few weeks later and the "replaced part " failed. Took a look and it was temporarily fixed with tape!!! When a man tells you that he'll fix it right,you believe him. Then other things started to go wrong with the car. In other words, when you come across a car lot with dusty cars and promised things. Check them twice. Very dissatisfied with this business. Buy or don't buy from here,its your choice but take the 2 day return offer and have the car completely checked out. A man's word to an active military soldier isn't worth anything in our book.
