We do not have a Penn Station restaurant in our area, and this location is the closest one to us. I hadn't come here in a while so I was excited that my husband was willing to make this our choice for dinner yesterday. I got the off-the-grill version of the Italian sandwich minus tomato. I don't remember what sandwich my husband got but I do know he added bacon and Fries. We both loved our sandwiches and eat them very quickly. The employees were great and helped make the experience all around awesome. I will be asking my husband to allow us to come back here next time we're in the area.

The chili was thin (too thin for us) and had too many onions both raw and cooked. The star was the Philly Cheesesteak pizza. Of course pizzas with tons of toppings won't completely crisp all the way through the crust. This was crisp on the edge and a little softer toward the middle ( as expected). It did not deter from the flavor. It had a ton of meat and cheese accompanied by an appropriate amount of peppers and onions. It sounds crazy but we added some Mayo...it's a Philly cheese and it's a good accompaniment. Don't sleep on it. Service was fine and seating area was clean.

Food was fabulous, and couldn't have asked for a better tasting meal. Only drawback was when we put the aluminum trays in our chaffing servers and put water in them, we found that they had holes in each of them and leaked all over our counter. Thankfully, we had the large replacement aluminum "pans" and a small crisis was averted. Other than that, we have absolutely no complaints about getting future food orders from the Skillet. P.S.
