Happened to pop in twice with two different types of crowds…read more First night came in with my younger cousins and sat at the bar. Rest of the family was home cooking dinner so we were really just grabbing a beverage and an app to split. There was live music, had a very difficult time understanding what he was singing even though we knew the songs. Bartender was very chill and did a great job. Place was busy so reservations would be ideal rather than popping in. Second night the other half of my family came for dinner. We had an appetizer of buffalo cauliflower which was good. I enjoyed my shepherds pie, grandfather liked his fish & chips (which I seen a lot of people order the night before). My uncle had chicken wings while my cousin had chicken sandwich, both were pleased with their meals as well. I imagine there is a lot of traffic from the hotel in the same plaza. Parking can be very difficult later in the evening. One thing that aggravated me was the lack of care to keep a clean sidewalk free if ice and snow. I say this because my girlfriend is disabled and where the handicap parking spot is the ramp and the sidewalk leading to the main entrance was covered in snow. Not only that anyone who is elderly would have difficulties walking as well.

They have hearty breakfast dishes. Many artery clogging meals. Fatty deep fried foods reign in their menu. The walls are covered with tvs. The service is fast and friendly. Plenty of parking. Last year they were fully booked for the Super Bowl. This summer they were crowded for the Mondial. The food is good enough not to scare away customers looking for a sports bar. Enjoy

Dropped by here to watch the Habs lose a game in spectacular fashion. What I find about this place…read moreis its odd location completely placed in the industrial section of Vimont. Went in with a buddy expecting a dive with hopefully better service than a place such as Le Cage des Sports and I got far more than expected. What received me is firstly a young energetic polity little lady in a micro skirt more than willing to seat me at some great booths. What really caught my attention? The 80+ screens all over the place. Mind you some of these were kinda overkill and the quality of them weren't the best I've seen but it was an impressive display. The service in general was exceptional for this type of place with this type of volume of clients. We were greeted by another charming little lady and beers were ordered, we got them mere minutes later. I felt like a big burger. Our food order was then taken and received WITHIN 15 MINUTES. Are you reading this Cage of Sports? A burger shouldn't take over an hour to provide to your clients! On top of it all, it was delicious with a fantastic moist bun that in general hit the spot. The rest of the night things well well with refills and I enjoyed watching the Habs lose once again. The price tag is decent as well. My only complaint about this place is the parking, their lot is far too small and in winter it can be a bit of a FUBAR. All in all, will visit again.

We were early for the dinner crowd, and Aubrey was super friendly and great at helping with service and recommendations. Since we will have driven about 450 miles today before the end of the day, we just had water. This is where the magic happens. We decided that a poutine in Quebec was a must. We aren't super finicky and we went with the hot dog poutine. First off, the US does not know how to make a poutine! This gravy was special, beefy, great texture and plenty of it. It was hard to stop, the combination of the cheese curds, hot dogs, gravy, and fries was perfection. I said I would've taken a bucket to go. We then decided that we would go "lighter" on dinner since the burgers and everything looked hefty. I had the mac'olos, bacon and round corn snacks on top with the breadcrumbs. My bro had the Mac Philly, which was basically a cheesesteak on bow tie pasta. In November they swap out macaroni for bow tie and it was a great result. Cheesy, flavorful, great cook on the pasta. I finished the dish and I'm absolutely stuffed. Thanks to Aubrey for the excellent support and choices! I'll be back the next time I visit the customer here!

We went to the Vaudreuil branch by the SAIL store, and from a food perspective it was indeed quite an experience, in the sense that it definitely lives up to its reputation. I also loved the decor - they're definitely owning the vintage vibe. The service, however, lacked sorely despite the fact it was a Wednesday evening and not that busy. But first, about the food. My husband had the Goldorak burger with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, merguez sausage, spiced ground beef, tomato sauce, fried onions with a side of delicious fries and coleslaw, and an American IPA which he thought was delightful. I had a pineapple & rhum based cocktail called the Dead Kennedy's, which ranks in some of the best cocktails I've ever had, and the crispy bacon & cheddar grilled cheese with a side of fries, tomato soup and garlic mayo. All around very generous portions and cooked to perfection, so much so that we didn't even fancy a dessert. However, there were several mishaps about the service that definitely marred our experience. Our food arrived before our drinks, and only after a thirty-five minute wait during which I was told the initial cocktail I wanted was no longer available. I had to wait an extra ten minutes to order my alternative choice. And when the time came to ask for the bill, they took fifteen minutes to bring us the check and then an extra ten minutes to bring the credit card machine. While they did apologize for the lateness of the drinks, they never apologized for the overall disjointed service experience and we were left rather disappointed. I do hope on our next visit that the service will match the excellent food, and hopefully my initial assertion of La Belle et La Boeuf can be improved. Definitely swing by for the food and drinks but make sure you have ample time for lunch or dinner.

They had a guitarist perform live during our dinner on a Friday night. The owner of the restaurant is very friendly and down to earth. We had escargot and French onion soup as starters and both were phenomenal. It's nice to finally eat escargot that is not drenched in just butter. For our main entrees, we had the fish & chips and cedar plank maple glazed salmon with a homemade chimichurri. First of all, I'm huge on fish & chips, and I can say this place has one of the best I've had. The batter is perfect and the tartar sauce is homemade! You can taste the freshness. The salmon was cooked perfectly. Not overdone at all. The chimichurri sauce was really good too. We finished off with the crème brûlée, and that was probably my least favorite. It's not bad, but just mediocre. I highly recommend making reservations, especially on a weekend. It gets very busy!
