The building is from 1913 and there's old photos and knick knacks everywhere on the walls. The place was packed when we got there so we just ate outside. They have picnic tables with umbrellas which was actually really nice after being in the car for so long. Got the chicken fingers and fries, honestly so good. The fries were seasoned nicely and they give you a lot of food. The staff were really friendly and good with our kids too. The only thing I'd say is if your kids have a lot of energy, sit outside if you can. Inside is small and there's breakable stuff all over the walls so outside just gives them more space to be kids without you stressing. Overall a really good stop if you're driving through Drumheller, food's good and it works for kids and adults.

But the hostess was cool as a cucumber and let us know it would be 20 minutes. Ten minutes later, the buzzer went off and we were in. This is more than a restaurant. It's an experience. Our waitress gave us a pamphlet with a brief history of the place and then quizzed my nephew! We got the pulled pork sandwich and it was just what we needed after a day at the Hoo-doos. Good food, great and attentive staff, and a building that oozes the history and pride of the local community. If ever in Drumheller, you have to stop.

Go for a drink and watch the game but don't eat here. We…read morewere looking for a quick meal on a fairly quiet evening. Browns Social House was on one side of the parking lot and The Canadian Brew House on the other. We'd been to BSH lots of times so we thought we'd try the Brew house. We entered and sat ourselves at a table on the patio with a few other customers. After waiting 10 minutes or so the server came to our table, introduced herself and asked us about drinks. We both requested water. Several minutes later a different server arrived with a drink (alcohol) and water. We let her know the drink was not ours. About 20 minutes later our server came back to take our order, which she wrote down and then read back to us. Again she asked about drinks. We waited for quite some time for our meal. When it arrived, via a different server, the order was wrong. My food - Beef Stroganoff arrived with our Garlic Knots but my husband had ordered a burger and ravioli came for him. The server took it back. We ate the garlic knots which were good. When the knots were almost gone our server returned to explain she'd made a mistake and that the burger would be out soon. She asked us if we wanted drinks. My husband insisted I eat. I was excited for the creamy goodness of beef stroganoff with prime rib but unfortunately my meal included burnt mushrooms, extremely dry prime rib, was really dry and of course cold. Such a disappointment. I ate it because it was the only meal I'd happen to have that day and I was hungry. After a while our server showed up to ask us about drinks and take the garlic knots plate. I ate as slowly as possible but I still finished before the burger came. The burger arrived and was mediocre to say the least. When she delivered it our server asked if we wanted drinks. At the end of the meal we had to seek her out to get our bill. There was no questions about the enjoyment of our meals or the mistakes that were made. We tipped because in this day and age it's the thing to do but there's no way we'll go back.
