His technique was artful, and took care to ensure all the details were just right. Everything was clean as a whistle and polished by the time I was done, and I walked out of there feeling refreshed and ready to conquer the world. The whole experience was an absolute pleasure and what you'd idealize from a barbershop. A truly refreshing departure from a landscape where so many other places feel dissatisfying and transactional--you know what I'm talking about--where you go in, fork some money over, and come out with your hair a little bit shorter and clippings all over your face and down your neck and shirt, leaving you all itchy.
