Well it was far better than I could have anticipated, a truly fantastic cut. He was so down-to-earth and fun to talk with too. His technique was artful, and took care to ensure all the details were just right. Everything was clean as a whistle and polished by the time I was done, and I walked out of there feeling refreshed and ready to conquer the world. The whole experience was an absolute pleasure and what you'd idealize from a barbershop. A truly refreshing departure from a landscape where so many other places feel dissatisfying and transactional--you know what I'm talking about--where you go in, fork some money over, and come out with your hair a little bit shorter and clippings all over your face and down your neck and shirt, leaving you all itchy. Unfortunately, this was the worst haircut I've ever had. The entire haircut took about 6 minutes, and Frank did not do a single thing I asked for. I was left extremely unhappy, disappointed, and honestly angry with the result. To make matters worse, I was charged $40 for a 6-minute haircut that looked terrible. I didn't want to cause a scene, so I paid and even tipped $5, knowing I would never return. As I was walking to my car, I looked back at the shop and saw people inside laughing and pointing at me, which made the situation even worse. For a place that's supposedly a step up from Supercuts, this was far worse than my worst Supercuts experience -- and I've gotten the majority of my haircuts there over the years. Don't be fooled by the reviews like I was. Looking back, I regret even paying. The whole experience was extremely unprofessional and disappointing.
