We recently had a frustrating experience with Kinetic by WindStream, or whatever. After mistakenly entering the wrong account information while paying our bill via electronic check, we reached out for help. Unfortunately, their customer service was not only unhelpful but seemed completely ununderstanding of our situation. I felt like I was talking to a wall, and they offered no solutions or guidance on how to resolve the mix-up. It's disappointing to see such a lack of support when mistakes happen. I expected better from a company that I rely on for my internet service. I guess since this company has monopolized the area we live, now they see no reason to offer us customers anything more than mediocre service. Pft. Do better !! read more

All online, phone and text reps should be fired! ZERO STARS for Online, phone and email customer service/tech support. Tech folks are incompetent and have no understanding on how fiber internet works. They think they know better than anyone who's calling. 4 of them told me that I didn't have fiber internet and I was making up speed numbers. They all refused to send a field tech out. All four hung up when I requested a supervisor. Same with the customer service reps. Four hours later I reached a guy who actually knew what he was talking about. He sent someone the next day. Issue still isn't fixed but at least we have internet access now. Email and text customer service rep said the issue was resolved. It's not. I was Never contacted by someone in charge. Upload speed is still slow. The guy that came out was friendly and did all he could to get us up and running. The problem for slow speeds is on windstream upload end. Still waiting for it to be resolved. In short. Calling in for any type of customer service is a joke and substandard at best. Fire them all. Field tech guys have been good. read more

I pay almost 200$ a month for this wifi, and it doesn't even work as should. it keeps randomly cutting out as if the wifi has been shut off but instead starts flashing red and green and i have called about this numerous amounts of time and yet the issue still cannot seem to be resolved. again I pay 200$ a month for something that doesn't even work as advertised. i wouldn't even give it a star if i could read more

I ordered windstream by Kinect I received an order number and no one called or canceled. I spent 45 mins. On the phone talked with 5 different departments before I was told we were canceled because there was no service here. After They had taken my order and given me an order number. I would not recommend them . They are unreliable and do not communicate. Don't trust them read more

windstream is trash pure trash i sent over 70 emails with most being ignored at least 10 live chats that the reps ended without fixing the problem i also text them and that was ignored the IT department is trash their website is trash the login portal has been down for at least 3 months and they are aware of it but won't fix it i called and was transferred to 6 or 7 different people and some hung up on me and all of them refused to fix the problem they lied and said the bill was going to be $50 it was $77 because the login portal is down and has been for 3 months i couldn't pay the bill no fault of my own so after all the crappy customer service and them refusing to fix the website i wanted them to credit the bill and they refused so i told them to take the bill and shove it and went to another company that not only was cheaper and had way better customer service but they also waived all the connect fees and even offered me a mobile phone line or tablet for free when you deal with windstream they put you with trash reps that barely speak english and are told not to fix problems or help customers no wonder they filed for bankruptcy in 2020 any place that is as bad as windstream will not last long this place needs to go out of business just like all the other companies with garbage management and trash customer service none should ever try to use them no matter what name they use they need to crash a burn i would give zero stars if it would let me read more
