The front desk and Dr. Austell's care team, were very accomodating and after Dr. Austell went over my records, I was set up for a procedure at Lake Mary Surgery Center. I have less distractions, more focus, more organized thoughts and concise speech, and less stress in the day. Tasks are also completed more independently and with a greater success rate. I am truly blessed to have not one but three team members at Advent Health Sports and Rehab at Lake Mary. Each have specialized skill sets, based upon their personalities, that complement each other to assist me in reaching my cognitive goals. Jenn can identify the overall, causative influences. Then she narrows it down to focus on one priority task at hand. Erica is meticulous with details and structure. I don't even know where to begin I had a referral from my PA for a hand surgeon I called Rothman…read moreOrthopedics and they said they accepted my insurance they made me an appointment for a few weeks out for my left pinky the doctor they gave me was Patrick King when I came in for my first visit he seemed very nice friendly and knowledgeable they sent me out for an MRI but it came out blurry because I have Parkinson's when I came back for my follow-up visit the doctor seemed aggravated that I went to a stand-up MRI because I couldn't get in with the hospitals for 6 weeks anyway between the combination of the magnet and not being strong enough how was I supposed to know this and having Parkinson's even though I took medicine to relax and I didn't feel like I was shaking I went to two different places and got MRIs and they were both blurry so the doctor come to find out is not a hand specialist he's a sports medicine specialist the call center just gave me whoever they wanted to give to me even though they knew I needed to see a hand surgeon and then the doctor proceeds to tell me it's my arthritis in my left pinky finger when it was attacked by a cat it's a very long story but in the very long story I would like to say that I was given the wrong type of doctor and they didn't help me and now they won't answer my calls thank you Rothman orthopedic
