I started bringing my son here when he was 8 weeks old. I wanted to expose him to music, rhythms, and group interactions outside of family as soon as possible. I was also suffering from PPA and I was so scared to take him anywhere, and I worried about being judged or not knowing what I was doing. I am so glad we found Kindermusik in Sacramento. It is such a safe space and free of judgment. Miss Elizabeth is an absolutely amazing human being, she always made us feel welcomed here. I learned how to play with my son at home and he loves playing with all of his Kindermusik toys. He is 15 months old now and he loves using his instruments to the beat of his favorite songs. We recently moved about 20 mins away from Sacramento but we will still make the drive to Sacramento for Kindermusik. read more

We've been attending Kindermusik since my baby was 6 months old. This class has fostered her curiosity and creativity, and we love the socializing aspect of the program as well! read more

Kindermusik with Ms. Leslie was tremendous for our high-spirited son Tobias. We have probably been taking him there for over a year and a half. He had trouble with transitions and Ms Leslie and other parents were very patient and understanding to help us through. The obvious benefit in his life, learning and behavior could not be overstated. Thank you Ms Leslie for your great care and love. read more

Kindermusik - Musical Instruments & Teachers Near Me - Sacramento, California

Our son very much enjoys the music lessons with Ms Royan. He's working on rhythmic recognition and auditory cues. 9.5/10 recommend

My son has been enrolled in a music class here over the summer. It is held at McKinley Park and he really enjoys it. The classes are a great way to introduce your child to music in a fun and non threatening way. I am very happy with the experience we have had here. read more

Bring your newborn, infant, toddler, kid to see Miss Cathy, who is an absolute natural with children! Kindermusik is a series of music modules designed to immerse children in music, movement, and rhythm. The modules are designed for specific age groups. There is also a family class, which we really enjoyed. New parents, you can start early -- I started my daughter when she was 8 weeks old and one of the other moms and her daughter (now our good friends) started when her daughter was 4 weeks old. It's a great way to get out of the house and be active with your baby. The music selections/compilations are from all over the world, though I wish they were performed less, how should I put it, operatic. My husband complained that it made his ears bleed! But Miss Cathy makes the class so much fun you hardly notice it. Most of the weekly classes last about 45 minutes, which has been just right in my opinion. We have had both morning and afternoon classes and have seen no difference in Miss Cathy's energy level. Both of my kids have been in Miss Cathy's classes and really adore her. She is entertaining and engaging. Not only that, she is a really cool person and is donating her time to teach a class for limited income grandparents who are raising their grandkids, without charge to them for the class or materials. How awesome is that? Her website is http://www.musicandmychild.com read more

Kindermusik with Ms. Leslie is wonderful. I have been taking my daughter there since she was about 6 months old. At first she was shy and didn't get too involved with the activities but enjoyed the classes. Over time she started to learn to follow directions, songs, dances and activities. Ms. Leslie makes everyone feel welcome and gives each child personal attention. Each 8 week session has similar components but new themes are explored. Each class starts with a welcome, some toys or musical instruments, music, dancing, a story book, a good bye and lots of fun. Each session comes with home materials which if used supplement the session quite well. We play the music, read the books and play the instruments at home, so my daughter knows the songs and activities. This makes class more fun. We have stayed in the same class and my daughter has made friends and so have my wife and I. Ms. Leslie has also recently updated the flooring, fresh colorful paint and decorations. The website is also easier to navigate. Great children's activity which supports healthy development. read more

Miss Cathy rocks both literally and figuratively. My son has taken 3 different Kindermusik sessions at the Midtown studio and he loves her. The class is chock full of good things for tots - lots of energy, story telling, music and instruments, dance and movement, interaction with peers and adults. Cathy keeps the class hopping and the hour flies by. Highly recommended. I can't wait until my new little one is a bit older so we can be in class again. read more

We love Ms. Elizabeth!!! We've been going to Ms. Elizabeth's music class for a year now and my daughter really enjoys it. Ms. Elizabeth is very attentive, patient, and professional. Her classes are well-organized and fun. She creates a very welcoming and loving environment for the kids. They would learn how to follow directions, clean up after themselves, and share toys with their peers. The classroom is very clean and there's always plenty of street parking (free) nearby. This is the best mommy and me class in the Sacramento area. Highly recommended! read more

I've been taking my son to Kindermusik since he was 4 months old. He loves the music, dancing and story time. It's his time to meet other kids and let loose. We play the take home CD in the car and he's learned most of the lyrics and beats to the songs. Miss. Cathy and Miss. Leslie are warm, loving, and simply make each child feel special. This is a great program to introduce your children to. I highly recommend! read more

This is the BEST experience for children and parents alike. Both my son (now 2 /34) and daughter (10 months) thrive in the musical, interactive, fun environment. A great way to meet other parents and truly enjoy your children for 45 minutes of great energy and enthusiasm. I find myself singing songs and playing games that Ms. Cathy (and the other fabulous teachers) taught us. A must for every child and his or her parents. Enjoy!! read more

Little tornado loved this. My kid that is too-cool for the library music group, that sits in the corner and glares at everyone, was an active participant in this class. Yes! Success! The teacher is very sweet and welcoming and we had a wonderful experience with our trial class. My son sang, jumped, clapped his hands and learned along with the stories and activities. He was really into it! We are signing up for the next session! read more

Enrolling my daughter in Kindermusik with Miss Cathy at 6 months was one of the best decisions. Her energy, knowledge and enthusiasm have introduced my daughter to what I know will be a lifetime of music appreciation. Going to class is such fun and with the take home cd, it is easy to carry on the activities at home in between classes. I give her my highest recommendation! read more

Kindermusik with Ms. Leslie in Midtown is great. We started when he was about 4 months old and it is so much fun to see him develop in the class. The classes are comfortable in size, nice location with open window, and offer wide variety in one class from dance, storybook, to snuggle time. We really enjoyed the classes and like another review said Ms. Leslie makes everyone feel welcome, she is patient, and gives each child personal attention. As a first time mom and p/t SAHM this was a wonderful experience for me too. read more

Our kids go to a lot of different activities and have had a lot of different teachers. The other day we were asking each other who we thought the best of them all were. Our answer was a resounding MS. LESLIE WITH KINDERMUSIK. She is one of the most knowledgeable teachers we've had the chance to work with and gives little tidbits of info at each class as to how what we're doing is helpful. She is incredibly positive, kind and compassionate. Each section you get a bag with an instrument, book and CD of the songs you use. Every class is different, but contains repetition of songs and ideas to let the concepts sink in. Ms. Leslie even has fun holiday parties ypu can attend. Our two kids have gone there since 6 months of age (the oldest os now 3!) and we would 110% recommend this class. It's worth every cent! read more

Absolutely love our weekly class. My son is super shy and not much of a talker when around new people. But just in the few weeks we have gone, I am noticing such a change. Miss Elisabeth is amazing at what she does and really follows the lead of each child. She takes time to interact with each child, and knows each one by name. I truly see such a difference in this class vs others we have attended. You can tell Elizabeth truly loves what she does and has your child's best interest at heart. read more

As a nanny for two children, a 2 year old and a 3 year old, it is always great to have activities that get us out of the house. However, Cathy's Kindermusik is my hands down favorite. She is exuberant, wonderful with the children, and an amazing music teacher. Both kids love attending; it is wonderful to see them having so much fun and developing new skills each class. Cathy's activities allow them to work on gross and fine motor skills, rhythm, sharing, and cooperation. Cathy is in tune with each child, knowing how to help them be involved and develop at their own pace. The kids sing Kindermusik songs all week long. We have so much fun every time we go - I love the weeks we have a make-up class and get to go twice! I highly recommend her classes to any nanny or parent of a child 6 and under. read more

Kindermusik is so much fun! Ms. Cathy is great. I'm a nanny for a 3 year old boy and we have been going to Kindermusik for over a year. He loves the friends that he's made and the music, songs, and activities during music class. Cathy is wonderful and it is obvious she loves what she does! It is such a great experience for both of us! read more

Started here when my son was three months old and finished when he aged out of classes. Highly recommend the experience and staff.
