I have been a customer with Kim's for 25 years and I have never been treated the way I was treated this week. I brought my truck out to be fixed the Uconnect was not working properly so I drop it off 2 weeks ago.They told me they would called to tell me the update on it they never called me when I wanted to know what was going on with my truck I had to call ever time. I talked the manager over the service department his name was David and he told he would let me know what was going on and when he said anything I could counted on it well guess what i never heard from him again. I talked to a guy named Caleb and my husband talked to him and he said he would call us with updates and let us know when the truck was ready and he never called. I talked to a lady in that department Friday she told me the part for my truck came in that morning and when they got it fixed they would called me that it should be ready Tuesday. My husband called twice Tuesday and left messages for Caleb to call him and he never called. So Wednesday morning I called and I got that lady again and she went to see if my truck was ready and she came back to the phone and said yes it's ready I asked her I thought somebody was going to call me when it was ready I told her I have not heard from anybody out there when I wanted to know something about my vehicle I had to call she said she was sorry I told her that's all I hear is I'm sorry if you were sorry you would take care of your customer better than that. So I go yesterday afternoon to pick my truck up when we get there they guy that was there his name was David a different David not the manager. He printed off the paperwork for us and telling us what was done then he said that they did a oil change on my truck and I asked him why they did that they didn't ask me or my husband to do that and we didn't authorize them to and they wanted me to pay for it I told him no I did asked for them to do that and I was not going to pay for it. So he called somebody and told them I didn't approve them to do my oil changed the person he was talking to told him that it was approved to do it so I ask him who approved it you didn't call me or my husband so who did you talk to he couldn't answer that. So he said that i owed them 100.00 dollars I said for what he said that's your deductible on the warranty we had so I paid it but the way I see it for all the aggravates I went through with them I should've had to paid anything because they didn't do what the said they would. Since they moved to this new location the service department sucks. They do not take care of the customers. I was going to buy my son a truck from them but since all this happened I just may not I will go to Hattiesburg. If I could talk to Kim and tell her what was going on I know she would take care of it. I have always dealt with her when I got all 5 vehicles from here. read more

Got a 2024 jeep wrangler here in April 2025. Got the service contract on it and covered the tires. Last Saturday my rear right tire showed 12 lb low. went in a hour before they closed, was told no one there qualified to fix a tire and bring it back Monday. They put air in it but I noticed quite a few employees just standing around. Seemed to me someone could have fixed a tire. Brushed off customer. read more

I wanted to give an up-date regarding my past review, 12-17-2019, regarding an issue I was having with a defective blind spot monitoring system that was installed by the Dealer by a third party. Note: This was at the RAM/Jeep part of the dealership. Another dealership in Laurel that plays numbers games. Found a truck I like with over $8000.00 rebates/incentives, whatever you wanna call them. Simple, bare bones truck that after rebates was 22+ thousand. They were going to give me $12,000 for my car, and add the $10,000 I still owed onto the truck. Well, last I checked, $22,000, minus the $12,000 credit for the trade in, takes it to 10,000, than add the $10,000 I still owe, and we are back at $20,000. The numbers they showed me, had the truck price with the $10 I still owed, minus the rebates, at $35,000. I know they charge for paperwork and destination fee, but it isn't no $15,000 dollars. An old story about Kim's Car dealership, but because the same people work there, it is my concern they will do the same thing to others. My wife and I bought a new Chrysler 300 in Alabama and with less than 500 miles she drove it to Laurel. (At the time we still lived in Alabama) The car started not to run improperly and I being still in Alabama told her to have it taken to the nearest Dodge/Chrysler dealership. The Service Manager informed me that my wife had put diesel in the tank and that was the problem. Wrong, we were on the second tank of gas, the dealer filled it up, and I filled it up close to home in Alabama at a station that does not even sell diesel fuel. After being treated like dirt several times I asked for a sample of the fuel, yes the sample had diesel in it because they had spiked it. I had it tested to make sure. Chrysler would not help because the dealership told them the same garbage they had told me. Fifteen days later the problem, and we were treated even worse now. I'd had enough, drove from Alabama to talk to the service manager. Being experienced in the testing of various fuels and gas, I explained that it could not be a fuel problem. Told Service Manager to check the electrical system. An engine needs fuel, air, and something to ignite it, simple. The engine would run, so that left out the fuel, air, and ignition. Only the control of the fuel, air, and ignition could be the problem. The manager told me he would put his top mechanic on it. They changed some parts and informed me it was fixed --- wrong! That part blew, and it had the same problem again. Fifteen days later we got our car back and was informed they had found a short in the wiring -- no diesel in the fuel treated like dirt, and no apology. We could have sued, but we are not that type. I am Kim's worst advertisement because anyone that has five minutes to spare I tell them this story. Also, a warning for anyone who is told that they have put diesel in their tank the diesel pump nozzle will not fit into a gas tank opening. So unless you pour it in, it is not in there. read more

I went to get my FIAT 2013 car "recall safety" checked out and repaired on a Saturday. Got there an a sales person, JD Crockett asked if I wanted to buy a vehicle, I told him I might - what transpired was horrible. I drove a couple of vehicles narrowing down what I wanted, while they were inspecting the recall safety on my FIAT. I chose 2 trucks to pick from and filled out an application; the one I actually wanted they could not find (2016 Barcelona Red Toyota Tacoma crew cab 4 cylinder); I was later called and told it was in their shop getting all the bells and whistles done to check it out making sure it had "no flaws. I went home in my FIAT that Saturday because (1) they had to order the "recall safety part" and (2) they were still looking for the truck. For the next three-four days - texts on my phone went back and forth with me and the sales person, JD Crockett. I told him I would be there on Thursday to sign the paperwork for the 2016 Barcelona Red Toyota Tacoma crew cab 4 cylinder less than 12050 miles and I would be trading in my FIAT for $9500 (it was paid in full) on it and the warranty on it would be the same as a new 2017. They were to finance it for $258 months payments for 7 years. My insurance was roughly about the same as the FIAT's. ( I had spent about 4-5 hours that day) Everything was in place for Thursday's signing (that I knew of). I took one of my co-worker's with me, because he too was in the market for a vehicle that Thursday morning. HOWEVER, I had to drive 1 1/2 hours to get there in Laurel, and 30 minutes before I got there the sales person, JD Crockett called to tell me that the truck was not available it was in the shop for a "safety recall" said it was a $3.25 gasket but the Manager would not let it go off the lot without fixing it. I asked if they had a loaner I could use. Sales person said he would have to call me back; less than 2 minutes he called me back and said yes they could set me up with a "loaner". I got there at the Laurel place and sales person, immediately had me go to another building away from the "financial building" and give him the keys to my FIAT. I and the person I brought sat there for over 3 1/2 hours with very little communication from the sales person. He would pass by saying "just a minute" and then disappear in his office or outside. He came to me after 3 1/2 hours and said do you want to see "your truck", we just washed it. I went outside and the driver's side looked great. However, when I went on the other side, passenger side, it looked like someone had side-swiped the truck and they had washed it to see if it would not be noticeable, it also had dents and nicks on that side. Also, the odometer reading was over 13000 miles. The sales person also comes back with some kind of paper in hand saying they were only going to give me $4500 for my FIAT. At this point I was furious, all the lies and deceitfulness at selling me a truck. They sales person kept blaming everything on his manager. However, the sales person talked me into loaning me a vehicle so that I and the person I brought could go eat - refused to give me my keys to my vehicle. We went and ate and I came back gave the keys and paperwork of the loan back to the sales person and told the sales person I was furious about this deal and to give me my keys back to the FIAT; the sales person want to talk to me first and called me into the office. I got there and saw my keys to my FIAT and its book and told the sales person what I thought about the transaction he was trying to sale me and the person I brought told him the same thing. With that the sales person kept blaming his manager for all the problems. I got up and left. I came back to my house and got on their website and got on their "chat box" and told the person there what had happened (not in so much detail) but enough and they said they would have their "Team Service Member" call me, that they would make this "right" and that they "wanted to make this right". Yeah, right, I am still waiting on that phone call. I will say this, the sales person (who claimed his phone was not working and that he had lost my telephone number and text messages) texted me a week later and told me how sorry he was about the transaction. I am still waiting on the part to come in for my FIAT so that it can be fixed - no calls from there as of yet on it. read more

We were pleased with the initial sale. They were able to get us out of our previous vehicle and get us where we wanted in our current vehicle. Upon leaving, there was a mix up and we were only given one key fob. They told us they would order us one. A month later I finally contacted the service department and they told me to come in-they only had to program one-wouldn't take no time. Why weren't we told that initially? Made an appt to have it programmed. After getting a baby sitter and sitting there an hour I was told that they couldn't get it to program and they would have to order another one. Made another appt to come back. Had to bring both kids and sat there for almost 2 1/2 hours. I was then told that the wrong one was ordered again and the techs didn't realize they were trying to program a key fob that didn't even look like mine... again it took them 2 1/2 hours to notice the diff. The manager at the service dept (Jimmy Stockstill) promised me he would order it himself and he would do something to make it right (free oil change) for the all the mistakes/wasted time. I asked him if I could just borrow a vehicle next time being I had my kids. He said it wouldn't be a problem and asked me to come back. When I come back for my appt I'm told that I can't have a vehicle and I would need to come back again. This makes 3 times so far just for a key fob to be programmed. Come back today and leave my truck there and when I walk in they ask if I need a vehicle to drive. After telling them I didn't I ask what was the problem last time and she said they can't give cars off the lot. Why didn't the manager tell me that when he told me I could have one and how would they be able to offer me one today? I called last Friday and left a message for someone from the main dept to call me. The only person to call back was the guy who sold us our vehicle. He was just trying to figure out what was going on so he could let higher up know. I know nothing will come of this but I want to get it out there what terrible service we've had. The day we bought our vehicle one of the employees helping us what telling us how terrible the service department is. The ladies up front were very nice but the manager and the techs that worked on my truck have no sense to be doing the jobs they are titled. read more
