The inside appears to have been recently updated and renovated. On one side is the restaurant, the other is a tasting room, and the distilling in the in middle. We came in for lunch. Started out with old fashions which were spot in, ended up having two. For lunch it was the standard American fare. We had some lighter options like salads and shared plates. The food overall was good, but not extraordinary. Service could have been a little more attentive however. After lunch, we headed to the tasting room. The standard tasting was $16 which seemed to be quite reasonable. Some of the tastings are 90-100 proof, so be ready for that. Also picked up some T-shirts. We would have picked up a bottle, but because of TSA you would have to put it in a checked bag. We did end up picking up a bottle at the Nashville airport after security, but the cost is about 30% more. They indicated that you can order online and have it shipped. Looks like they do tours, but we did not have the time on this day. Definitely a stop if you are a whiskey drinker and in the Clarksville area.

My first thought when we walked in was that the restaurant must be busy all the time, and the tips good, because they had several servers whizzing around taking care of their customers. Good beer and drinks are a given (several house brews), but the food was amazing. We ordered fried green tomatoes (pimento cheese on top) and roasted brussel sprouts, so we could nibble as we drank. Then for dinner: the prime rib au jus sandwich, the Reuben, the Patty Melt, and the Cletus (Southern through and through). Our Toddler ordered the baked Mac N Cheese (good sized serving and looked delicious--lots of cheese and perfectly browned--and a side of fruit). Everyone was happy!

I had a couple of hours to kill before a tattoo appointment across the street (reviewed separately)…read moreso I stopped here for lunch. It was very busy around 12:30 mid-day, but I was seated immediately. There is downstairs and an upstairs that looks over the first floor. They have a huge menu. Lots of pub fare. Beer cheese, nachos, various pizzas (tons of combinations, most with lots of meat, and you can create your own). They also have flatbreads (again, several combos, some veggie, some meaty). Entrees include steaks, pork chops, grilled chicken, chicken tenders, salmon, and shrimp tacos. Large selection of sandwiches (turkey, clubs, BLT, reuben, prime rib). And at least 10 different types of burgers. I had the cowboy, made with Monterey Jack, bacon, sautéed onions, mushroom, lettuce, tomato, and pickle). Huge burger (I only ate half). The fries were hot and tasty. The burger arrived medium as I had ordered and the produce seemed fresh. The mushroom and onion flavors were lost somehow, and the burger could have used a little more seasoning, but overall solid for being local to Clarksville. I had a couple of cocktails, some type of margarita with cranberry, and a basic mule. They were fine, but nothing special and nothing I would order again. They have a ton of beers here, and that's what they are known for, so if you're a beer drinker, that's your best bet. They have brunch on the weekends. My server was attentive and kind.
