My husband and I visited during lunchtime on Saturday. We both ordered platters (he got chicken and I got pork). The food came out quickly and was delicious! I really enjoyed the side salad that seemed to come from a garden on the restaurant property. The dumplings and rice were also perfect. Variety is limited, but if you're looking for delicious, basic Korean food and Korean dumplings you won't be disappointed. I definitely want to go back and try their dinner menu. read more

It was decent but not outstanding. Some of the items were very good and others were not as good. Not horrible but just not what we're looking and hoping for. We're foodies and we know our stuff. Details matter. Even little ones. Sometimes especially the little ones. read more

Fresh, made to order food by Kim in an unsuspecting location - but the food won't disappoint. I've been for lunch multiple times and the Beef platter (extra spicy) is always my go-to. Kim grows a lot of her own produce on-site which makes the food even fresher. Truly a Coopersburg staple and a business I enjoy visiting! read more

hole in the wall, mom & pop kind of place, in a nice house on a very busy highway. just a few tables. nice lady welcomed us & seated us. menu is simple, but the food is exceptional. her kimchee in particular is so fresh & flavorful. best I've had since the last time I was in Chinhae. delicious. my wife had a Korean style chicken wrap & I had Korean style pork over rice. wonderful. heat, but as an accent. bold flavour, but not overpowering. loved it. great lunch. read more

Was driving around one day and passed by this place and decided to try their food, the service was great and the owner is very nice. Food wise isn't top notice, but this place is more of a home made shop. The restaurant itself is a big house, it looks like they use their home grown vegetables that is fresh, nice place and service, but food needs to improve. Would I go back? Maybe. read more

Listen, I'm all about the small spots with the wack vibe but the great food. Unfortunately this place had the wack vibe with the super wack food and the loud hostess who failed to produce food that we could actually enjoy. She was yapping away the whole time to some fella who was trying get out of there and gave us the microwave special. Ms. Kim's food had some flavor but in no way matched the typical Korean greatness that I am used too. The menu was light, like slim picking light and the drinks were sad. I ordered the bimbim bop but what I got was a plate of rice and meat with egg and no love! The food needs some love and Ms. Kim needs to redefine her restaurant with an emphasis on the food! I will never, and I mean evvvveeerrr be going back to this house on the hill. read more

This is like mom making a home cooked meal - just that mom was from Korea. She's funny, witty and very nice. Food was very good. It was only her so i can imagine when this place is really busy, she would get backed up pretty quickly. Nevertheless, we weren't in a hurry and the food came out nice and quick. Bimbibap and the chicken platter. Both great dishes. We were visiting the area so we're not normally in the area but if we are around, we will go again. read more

The name says it all. You are going to eat at Kim's Kitchen, this is not a sit down formal restaurant, think of it as kitchen that has 6 dinner tables in it. Kim will feed you well, do not expect typical table service, our table water was served from a 1/2 gallon Smirnoff bottle. People might think I have a drinking problem. We came in on Presidents' Day for a late lunch, the food was really good. If you like your food spicy just ask her to make it more spicy. Worth stopping in to try. read more

I decided to try this place out to help support local businesses during this pandemic. I was expecting an average meal. However, I got some delicious Bibimbap with a perfect level of spice! It also had enokitake mushrooms, which was a pleasant surprise and perfect rice. One other dish I wanted was not on the menu, but I decided to ask if she had it, and she did. The owner was extremely accommodating and friendly. The restaurant was also clean. Menu is fairly priced. read more

I gotta be honest... Allentown, if this is what 4 stars is to you my stay is going to be awful. We blindly followed Yelp reviews as we often do. We were so happy to see a local Korean place with great reviews. Clearly, the local Yelpers don't get out for good Korean food often! We arrived at the restaurant to eat in. There were three or four tables inside all in various stages of disrepair. No big deal, right? Yelp never steers us wrong. We sat down and received the menu from a nice woman who was clearly surprised to have guests dining in. She pulled out a roll of paper towels and started lining the table with them, covering the stained table cloth. Incidentally, we picked the least stained table, but it still required a small forest in paper towel to cover them. We ordered the advertised crispy Korean dumplings and delicious shrimp pancakes. She asked if we would like the kimchi pancake in place of the shrimp pancakes, and we agreed. There was nothing crispy about those dumplings. They were about two days old and clearly microwaved. Yes, we heard her take them from the microwave. DING! It's really too bad, because they had good flavor, they were just rubbery as all get out. The dipping sauce was nice too. Don't know what it is, but it was nice! Kimchi pancake... Uh. Well. A pancake to me means something fresh off the griddle, with a nice crisp crust from the skillet. It was also microwaved. DING! And soggy. And awful. We didn't even try it. Bibimbap... The crown jewel of this dish is the screaming hot bowl, with crispy rice and an egg oozing richness all over it. However, there was clearly a jewel heist because none of that was present. The rice was gummy, the egg was over hard. There was nothing redeeming about this dish. Korean Chicken... actually, this wasn't bad. In fact, it was the only redeeming portion of the meal. There was no crisp to it. There was some spice. But the rice was still gummy. It is literally the only thing that was not bad. read more

Have driven by this place 100's of times through years, without much thought. Stopped in on a whim. What a great dining experience! Now, if you're preferred ambiance is offbeat and funky and you appreciate great food...this is the place. Beef is perfectly spiced and seasoned, the dumplings and dipping sauce are the stuff you dream of. Kim, the owner, hostess, cook, etc will be your new best friend by the time you leave. Stuck on that two-lane stretch of 309 in Center Valley? Don't miss this easily missable place. read more

The food was terrific, and Kim was so sweet. We had the kimchi tofu soup, chicken platter, and shrimp & scallion pancakes. Really good Korean restaurant with authentic food and really nice hosts. Highly recommend if you just want to get your Korean food fix.

You should call in advance and tell her how many people you are bringing because she operates at weird hours. She is very nice. The dinner menu had limited items, but that's because the restaurant was just her and another staff. The fish I had was spicy pork and it was ok. Wasn't spicy. Isn't as good as what I have been used to at other places. The side dishes were good though! read more

Food was delicious and fresh, and the service was perfect. We had takeout, but there is a dining room for eat-in.

Fantastic meals. Extremely nice staff and waiting time was no issue. Food is microwaved but it is still overall delicious.

My first experience with a true Korean restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent, When you walk in, don't be surprised if it feels like you stepped into someone's kitchen. The tables and chairs don't match. In other words, it's a bit eclectic, but don't let that stop you from enjoying a good meal. Will go back again to get a better idea of what I like the best. read more

Kim's Kitchen - Chilled water is served out of a vodka bottle. No joke! - Korean Near Me - Center Valley, Pennsylvania

The restaurant feels like you're in Kim's personal kitchen, and she's whipping up dishes with extra attention. The beef bibimbap was absolutely delightful. The best part about this restaurant is Kim. She is always so happy and she brightens my day. I love chatting with her when I come. You can tell she enjoys what she does and she is good at it. I love her food. I've tried various dishes, and they were all great. Her bibimbap has toppings that are in season or whatever she has in stock. One time I got mango on the side and it was delicious. Her dumplings are great. My favorite part about her restaurant is her kimchi. She makes my favorite kimchi, better than any I've had to far. I wish more people knew about this hole in the wall because it is so welcoming and the food is great. read more

How did I not come here earlier?!? This place is ran by a very sweet woman and is the most home-y setting I've been to! **i recommend calling ahead to let her know you're calling** I called 1 hot prior Parking is good. Make sure you exit at the right area cause it's on 309 which is one way. The exterior is so cute, especially on a spring or summer day! I had the beef bibambap and my friend had the pork one. It comes with the bean sprout salad, kimchi, cucumber kimchi, rice, a bean paste, and then the meat; all in a bowl. AMAZING. if you can't handle spicy in the slightest, this place is not for you haha! It also came with fried vegetable dumplings as a starter. Very good and homemade.
